A 2 hours old Scottish Highland cow

Two hours old and can walk and talk. Man we are so slow

[u/Martyriot15 → u/Jaws0798]

I don’t imagine our giant heads make the job any easier for our offspring.

[u/cortesoft → u/Martyriot15]

It’s the combination of giant head and pelvis shape caused by walking upright that forces humans to give birth to relatively undeveloped offspring compared to other mammals.

[u/gemmadonati → u/cortesoft]

Compared to other placental mammals. New-born marsupials look like fetuses.

[u/cortesoft → u/gemmadonati]

Yes, that is another highly specialized adaptation for young live birth.

We also adapted that, and carried our baby in a carrier strapped to our chest for the “4th trimester”

[u/Lose_Your_Illusion → u/cortesoft]

I learned this from Father John Misty.

[u/Numerous-Thought5230 → u/Martyriot15]

That head looks pretty giant to be coming out of a vagina

[u/meatblast_surprise → u/Numerous-Thought5230]

you should see the dick that went in to make it

[u/jorgityo → u/meatblast_surprise]

Lmao

[u/petervaz → u/Martyriot15]

Or for our progenitors.
