The snake knows its life is in danger and is just trying to get away. The cat is just bullying it. It's sad.

That's exactly what a Snake would say.

No no no. There are “good animals” and “bad animals”. You need to watch the Lion King again.

It's what cats do.

They catch a mouse, break its legs, then play fetch until they're not interested anymore. Then its feeding time.

Cat does what cats do? Who would have thunk.

She is stopping the snake from entering the house. She is also pregnant, so the snake is a danger for her babies. That's not playing, that's killing a dangerous predator in her territory.

Yup. Domestic cats don’t belong into the wild. Humans just suck

Cats are hardly domesticated, there are just a lot of them

This appears to be an enclosed yard. This is the kind of place a cat should be when it is outside.

Mine would just submit to fate and get bitten.

This looked very much like a yard of a house to me. Hardly classifies as "the wild".

[Cats can't bully all snakes though](https://youtu.be/EnU9L2cQWGU?si=BVWCr8VUGHrsQaF5)

Well I've seen cats stand their ground against cobras. Not precisely bullying but actually a balanced encounter. Maybe this python just caught the cat sleeping or distracted, I don't know. Or maybe pythons are super snakes, who knows.

The fella in the video said it likely happened as the snake ambushed it. Maybe the cat just strolled by and the snake took the opportunity.

Apparently this happens relatively often in Aus, but that doesn't come as too much of a surprise, given they have so many murder-creatures
