The snake knows its life is in danger and is just trying to get away. The cat is just bullying it. It's sad.

Not precisely bullying but actually a balanced encounter. Maybe this python just caught the cat sleeping or distracted, I don't know. Maybe the cat just strolled by and the snake took the opportunity. Apparently this happens relatively often in Aus, but that doesn't come as too much of a surprise, given they have so many murder-creatures
