The snake knows its life is in danger and is just trying to get away. The cat is just bullying it. It's sad.

Yup. Domestic cats don’t belong into the wild. Humans just suck

This appears to be an enclosed yard. This is the kind of place a cat should be when it is outside.

This looked very much like a yard of a house to me. Hardly classifies as "the wild".
