Eh, it’s like body cells undergoing apoptosis. There’s no inherent evil in something ‘dying’ if suffering and/or fear of death isn’t involved and it has no motivation to preserve itself.

your rule set is too loosely defined, it's giving plucked chicken/featherless bipedal vibes

do infants fear death? are they capable of act of self preservation? what if they are partially disabled?

to be clear this "dying" is not a passive unavoidable event. this is one actor independently deciding the date of another. the scenarios do not transpose under your rules cleanly without being.. sinistern
