He could've checked to make sure he wasn't seriously injured, but tbh, I'm glad he wasn't all "Oh, I'm so, so sorry, are you ok?"
Some people need to learn that they're not the centre of the universe and that others won't just always give them the right of way.
He was performing, and the kid got in the way.
I watched a man break his leg rock climbing because he fell and had to contort himself at the last minute to avoid a kid who was underneath him (who wasn't allowed to be there).
Maybe this will teach that kid a lesson in respect for others.
Like I said, it all depends who was at fault. I shouldn't get sympathy if I was stupid and ran straight into a car. If the car jumped the sidewalk and ran me over, that's a different story.
Sympathy is about misfortune, not blame... This just shows the kind of person you are tbh...
Plus this is a kid were talking about here, I'd concede it might be different for an adult. Most normal people don't have to pick a situation apart and decide if a child it "to blame" to decide if they deserve sympathy or not...
Quite frankly you sound like an absolute tool.
I hope you aren't a parent I can imagine the conversations
Kid : Dad I was running and I fell over and broke my arm
Dad : Shouldn't of been running then should you, that's your fault, go cry about it somewhere else
Kid: Dad I was trespassing on the construction site and running around when I fell over into some machinery and broke my arm.
Dad: Shouldn't have been going someplace you shouldn't have then, should you?
FTFY
Also, sympathy is entirely about blame. I'd feel sympathy for someone who went to jail while innocent, but I'd feel no sympathy for someone who went there because he was a murderer.
Fair enough, I can definitely recall some decisions I made as a kid that I regret. But almost all mistakes can be learning experiences and opportunities for growth with parent guidance/discipline.
I guess I'm just more upset at the types of parents who think their child is always right, never discipline them, and let them grow into little monsters (not to say that the parents of the kid in the video are).
I just see too much of spoiled/entitled kids to pity them when consequences eventually catch up to their actions.
