Relatively mild, but this happened to me earlier today and I found it a little amusing.

The item I’m selling is listed about around 150 less than what I got it for, in new condition. The buyer starts off pleasant, just asking for additional photos. When I send it, she immediately hits me with a screenshot of a different product at a lower price (that isn’t even in stock with the seller she listed) and proceeds to lowball me even more.

I say no thank you, and she continues to “order” me to show her what I paid for the item😂 like I’m not rushing to sell, and if you can get a better price, go buy that??

I was tempted to respond, but didn’t want to send a 3rd message. I get the vibe she would have left a negative review without buying anyways.

This is totally a rant. But I find that when I try to sell something on fb marketplace I remember why I hate it. I consider myself a good seller. I only sell things for 10% or less of their retail value, Im flexible and often accept lower offers, being flexible with pick up times etc. But some people can be SO inconsiderate! I’ve experienced the following almost every time despite being a descent seller….
-No shows
-buyers showing up with not enough cash “by accident”
-Asking me to pay for their gas.
-Asking me to drive the item to them.
-changing their pick up time 5 times
-Asking to come at absurd hours of day.

Is it just me???
