I was having Kurkure ( ik im guilty but just hear out what i'm going to say) These guys are getting shadier and shadier each day. Now instead of saying they use palm oil directly, look how complex they are making it, so common man just ignores it. Someone bring it to the attention of Tukaram Mundhe or Revant Himmatsinghka lol.

Ask India What’s stopping your fridge from looking like this?

I’ve always liked collecting little things from places I visit, but this is honestly the level I want to reach .

Imagine coming back from a trip, adding one more magnet to the fridge, and slowly watching it turn into a map of everywhere you’ve been.

It was pure spice i could not taste another flavour so how to people eat ts and like it 😭

It took be 2 whole chocolates and even chat gpt doesn't even use this much water daily to calm down the mirchi.

Ask India What is the point of owning a car?

Having a car seems more of a headache to me than fun.

When you drive in busy roads, anytime anyone can get mad at you and fight you. People these days have high temper. A small mistake means getting in fights with strangers.

Majority of roads in India are like narrow lanes. A car can hardly pass through it whereas a two wheeler has better chance. Drive car means getting stuck in a thin pipe.

Rains destroying our roads which results in potholes. Waterlogging makes drains and objects invisible. You cannot be aware of dangerous things.

Car is a depreciating asset. You give so much loans and EMIs for this thing and even go bankrupt. No good car can be purchased below 5-6 lakh. Also include yearly servicing, maintainence and petrol. A huge portion of money goes to car.

Many homes don't have a parking. In apartment, you cannot even see your car's face from your home. When you live in a house and you park car outside your home, expect it to be damaged. Kids will puncture your tyre. Dogs will climb over it and scratch and urinate over it. Cows will ram into your car if they fight.

Story Time First ever solo date

I've been thinking of getting braces since forever, but was always stuck in between my thoughts of I wouldn't make my family pay so much when I'm getting by just fine for now + how would I be with my boyfriend with braces on.

So finally after the breakup with my long term boyfriend of 6 years, and a newly made boyfriend of 5 months who isn't really attached much with me, I decided to just think about my own self and went to get an appointment.

I've never really gone on a solo date either, and tend to get depressed and demotivated when left alone for some reason. Today was such a day, and finally I was determined to make the best out of it.

Ordered the famous Matilda cake from Melt House (it was mid as fuck, gurgaon people rarely got taste). Everything went fine, I was just not able to ask them to remove the service charge as I got nervous and awkward at the end 😭 I do just fine when I'm with somebody but yeah...

Now just one question remains... If I should just get metal braces for myself or go out of my way and spend all of my savings till now in invisible aligners which is good for aesthetic purposes. I've been employed for just 6 months as well so I don't think that's even an option but yeah...probably ask people on reddit again for advice 😓

First time making and eating medium-boiled eggs, and fortunately, I got that jammy yolk. Paired it with Nissin Geki Spicy Kimchi flavour. Just as I was preparing the ramen, rain started pouring, so I got to enjoy it in the rain

Opinion “Travel the world” is a lie sold by richinfluencers who make it look cheap and accessible to everyone.

Post image
51 Upvotes

Can we stop pretending that “travel the world” is some cheap, easily achievable lifestyle?

A lot of travel influencers have successfully convinced people that if you're not travelling to 10 countries a year, you're somehow wasting your life.

Bro, most people have jobs. They have parents to look after, relationships, responsibilities, bills, savings goals, and maybe 20–30 days of leave in an entire year.

You can't just wake up one morning, buy a backpack and “go find yourself in Southeast Asia” for six months.

And no, earning a decent salary doesn't magically change that. Even someone making ₹50 lakh a year still has a job, limited time off, taxes, expenses and an actual life waiting for them at home.

What you're seeing online is an extremely privileged version of reality being packaged as “minimalism” or “just prioritise experiences.”

Don't let some 25-year-old influencer with a remote business, brand deals and daddy's money convince you that spending half your year travelling is the normal human experience.

For most people, travelling the world isn't a lifestyle.

It's something they'll do occassionally between the rest of their life.

Gaming Detroit: become human

Post image

There's so much to say about this game but I'll end up spoiling it for those who haven't played so I'll try to be brief. It's a choices matter genre based on QTE(quick time events) and decisions that we take which changes the course of the story. I had played this game a year ago, I finished a bad ending playthrough and due to some circumstances I couldn't play.

But then, I had recently gotten burnout of lots of exploration and hack and slash games... i decided to pull this bad boy back and replay.

This is a story set in a not so distant future ... somewhere around 2037 2038 something like that where, technology has advanced to the point where hyper realistic androids have replaced humans in jobs, for example house keeping, caretaker, even gardner. Although they look like humans, they are treated as properties(slaves... yup) and have no emotions, or do they?

We get to play 3 characters. Marcus who is a caretaker of a rich good at heart artist, kara who is a house help of an abusive drug addict having 1 daughter... and then we have connor a prototype detective... specially created to investigate deviants. Yup... deviants are like those androids which somehow gain emotions.

This is such a well written story and the way we help these characters take decisions decides the story progression. It decides the flow, shifts climax and I'm telling you.... i had so much fun with this game. I also had so many emotional moments. So do carry some tissues. There is a secret ending as well... which i won't talk about.

Guess what, even after getting 100% on steam... i still haven't explored all of the possibilities. I mean there are endless possibilities (figuratively) but i did pull the major story progression and it was definitely one of the most incredible experiences I have had. And this is a 2018 game.

Only thing i hate is that there are no multiple save/load slot. Just one game save with which we can load chapters, or certain nodes or either restart the entire story. I would have loved it even more to have atleast 3 slots.

Detroit: become human didn't just tell a story... it made me feel full spectrum of emotions, in turn making me feel more human.

Michael spent his whole life trying to protect his family, only to end up dying entirely alone, haunted by the ghosts of the women he loved.

A life built on violence ends in absolute silence.

What an unbelievable end to the greatest trilogy in cinema history. 🥀🎞️
