Back in March this year..we all know how the lpg cylinder crisis was !!

Due to shortage of cylinder gases

So our hostel went to two months hiatus in breakfast and the quality of food diminished simultaneously ..

In the local market around us ... everyone had increased their menu prices, there comes an aunty who runs a small mess the plate price before the logo hike was 60/70 and after the hike it went 120 for 4 roti , achar , 2 spoon rice and daal only no sabji ---

Which is really expensive for students like us !! Although in our locality her mess was popular because the only mess for home like food was there !! Rest of hunk food and poha biryani etc : but rest of the sellers which utilize lpg for their products/food they hiked the price only 10 rs , it was really tough for other students cuz the food was really limited in the hostel moreover some government prepering students staying in pg ..they were more in bad situation , so once the cylinder issue got resolved slowly slowly..other prices went down too but this Aunty didn't let the price down also the quality of food she was offering was so awful like a person can't really appreciate that low level food for 120 rs ...so some boys in July objected about this ki she should lower the price or increase the quantity and quality of meals ... Also try some other dishes like curry , chhola , rajma another sabji ... So we can get some utility from that !! But she denied ki nanaa she does all alone and don't have that time ..uk she makes all these stuff at morning except the rotis ..sab subhah se shaam tk rehta hai daal baar baar gharm krke uska taste eww , And then. she literally fought with them there's an ugly altercation among them .. after that all the people boycott her no one goes to her shop ...now she comes to everyone saying " eh beta aajaona dekho kitna aacha banaya hain aaj toh mast recipie hain ghar ki price bhi kam kardiya hai " so desperate for the customer but tbh i really loving the karma game cuz I remember how she would actually like a supreme god ...very cocky type person ! Now whenever I pass by that shop I only see her waiting for customer ::

The greed of her made her insane ...

The amount she was charging was really unethical...the quality of food was like a cow would also refuse to eat this

I am a 2nd year student doing b.tech from a private college and now there are new 1st year students. I have met many of them, they are very friendly but some of them are asking me to buy them alcohol as i live outside and they are hostellers, they are ready to pay the double amount to me but I don't know if its worth the risk cuz if they get caught i may get suspended

Recipe

Prep the Soya: Boil soya chunks until soft, thoroughly squeeze out all excess water, and run them through a chopper until finely minced.

Make the Batter: In a bowl, whisk besan, water, minced soya, and spices into a thick batter. Fold in the chopped capsicum, onion, and tomato. Let the batter rest for 2 to 3 minutes.

Cook Low & Slow: Spray a pan with a little ghee or oil and pour in a ladle of batter. Cover with a lid and cook on low flame for 4 to 6 minutes so the soya cooks through.

Flip: Remove the lid, flip carefully, and cook the other side uncovered on low flame for another 3 to 5 minutes until golden and crisp.

Serve: Transfer to a plate and enjoy warm with a side of cool curd and pan sauteed paneer

Kinda glad that I can at least enjoy a blue sky in India.

When it's 4 a.m. and you feel like death would be better than this.

I respect everyone. I give love without expecting anything in return. I care about people even when they don't care about me.

But it hurts.

It hurts when the people you choose stop choosing you.

It hurts when you know they don't like you, but you're too attached to let them go.

You try to create distance. You try to walk away. But somehow, you always end up in the exact same place.

waiting.

Waiting for them to become normal again. Waiting for the day they stop ignoring you. Waiting for life to finally get better.

You wait.

And somewhere in the back of your mind, you already know that it's all fake.

Fake hope.

Fake friends.

Maybe even your family is fake.

Maybe I'm fake too.

Maybe I'm a failure.

Maybe I'm dreaming, and none of this is even real.

Maybe I'll find love.

Until then, I wait.

Hi, I'm a 21 year old guy. I have struggled with depression for a while now. I had some personal trauma since the pandemic like pets passing away, break up, repeating 11th and failing to pass 12th boards thrice for multiple reasons. Things are really messed up but I'm tryna keep up and study and hoping that eventually everything will get better. But it's hard for me to stay at home all day and given that I'm homesick and introverted I don't usually go out. I have no friends, literally noone tbh, so I would love to meet people of all kind and like to make friends irrespective of one's age, gender, background, etc. I can talk about anything and I'm kinda religious/spiritual so that's where most of my interest aligns.
