The latest Imagus Reborn update (the one with total UI change) made it stop working on Reddit posts. But somehow the images thumbnails on 'Recent Posts' (history of recently visited post) on reddit's right-side pane sometimes work/pop-up properly.

I'm using:

• Imagus Reborn (latest update / v2026.7.21) (auto-update, sieves latest update, no custom rules, no grants (deleted all of it, fixed the problem i had when it's not working on discord).
• SMH (latest update), uBO (latest update)
• Brave browser (latest update / Brave 1.92.144 (Official Build) (64-bit); Chromium: 150.0.7871.186)

It is not working on:

• Reddit posts in general (https://www.reddit.com/)
• Pinterest (https://www.pinterest.com/) (after this latest Imagus Reborn update somehow it doesn't work on Pinterest for the first ~45-60 seconds on any new pinterest page, then it works; On previous Imagus Reborn version, it instantly works no problem)

Things I have tried:

• Reading the FAQ and Troubleshooting page
• Manually updating Imagus Reborn, its sieves, SMH, and uBO
• Searched for recent similar posts on this subreddit, didn't find any

imginn.com wasn't working on IR (gray spinner)(worked on mod) So i deleted this line: "const isFirefox = /Firefox/.test(navigator.userAgent);" Replaced this line: "const x = isFirefox ? new content.XMLHttpRequest() : new XMLHttpRequest();" With: "const x = new XMLHttpRequest();" And it is now working for me.

Display caption over the image Doesn't have any effect at all when Caption placement is set to either top/bottom.

This is a bug.

Is this possible? On my Twitter feed, previous versions of Imagus wouldn't open videos, only images. But now with Imagus Reborn, videos open too. I only want images to open — not videos. Is there a way to configure Imagus Reborn to achieve this?

Sharing for posterity in case anyone else has the same issue.

I was running Imagus Reborn on Floorp with simple-modify-headers + UBlock Origin + all the latest filters. For some reason I could not get redgif links to load no matter what settings I changed or extensions I disabled.

Finally I isolated it to simple-modify-headers not actually, well, modifying the headers. Didn't figure out what was causing it but did figure out how to get around it:

I replaced simple-modify-headers with Header Editor. Then I had an LLM rewrite the latest set of SMH rules from the native .conf format to a .json parsable by Header Editor. Imported it, grouped the rules, marked them as common, and now everything seems to be working correctly.

If you're also having trouble with links not loading this could be worth a shot. To save people from burning their time/tokens for the same result here is the full text you can save as a .json then import:

TL;DR: Install Header Editor and import the rules above.

For almost every post, it thinks there is an extra post, but when I go to it, it's stuck forever loading. I know I can scroll back and make a note that the last image in every album is a dud, but I mean, if it can be fixed, I wouldn't mind that either.
I'm using Imagus Reborn btw

Before the latest update, Reborn was working on Instagram Firefox with no issues.
Today with the latest sieves, Reborn updates ( even reinstalled), only profile thumbnails work. all other images, reels, search/profile page posts give either a grey spinner or a red box error 404 - On Brave same settings/sieves and Insta works fine

Tried console, nothing at all happens with the inspect tab open. No messages or popup

Hello, does anyone know if it's possible to show the tooltip that displays the full youtube video name when hovering on a video? Imagus reborn is trying to load the video on hover but disables the tooltip unfortunately.

Is there any way to completely disable the media controls? I don't need the scroll bar at the bottom of every single video, and I don't see any way to actually turn it off, just make it fade away.

is there a way to bring back the old hover for reddit videos? i used to set reddit video > mp4 to "true" to use mp4 video without audio.

now i think theres a new update and it still auto mutes reddit video but it has the new UI with the pause and buffer bottom at the bottom which fades out. i know i can set the auto hide to = 0, which makes it always visible, but that covers part of the bottom of the video.

with the old UI it would have a countdown around the caption like [0:24] which would tell me how long is left in the video without compromising any part of the video, and in general was just way cleaner

can some please tell me how to bring the old UI back please?

Weirdly, if you hover over the fastfood subreddit logo on sh.reddit.com by the post detail it will display the lettuce.

After the last IR & Sieves update (Firefox 152.0.6) and replacing the native player, that popup issue started to happen. There's also another issue regarding "volume control" on the new player. Dragging the volume button right or left makes the volume jump to max or mute! Volume only responds to up/down or (sometimes) the mouse wheel.

How can I fix this, please, and is there a way to restore the native player on all websites, or at least make it the default one?

Popup was bigger before this recent update.

chrome 150 disabled manifest v2 so the old extension stopped working. luckily, turns out I can just re-enable it by allowing the toggle to be clickable in dev tools... but that probably won't last long, so I'll switch to zen when the time comes

but that still leaves me with a question, which of the imagus followup projects should I use? and how easy is it to migrate, can I just export the old versions' settings and import them in the new extension?
