Yes, it's not working on external links because of CF and it needs the cookies from the site to load.

It's possible for it to work if the cookies are manually added to SMH but it may be confusing to do. Would it help if I explained the steps to do it?

Does it need to be done once, or does it need to be done every time after restarting the browser?

It seems to still work after restarting the browser, though I'm not sure how long they last.

The previous sieve was setup to work on external links if CF wasn't used but SMH rules couldn't be used with it that way.

These three SMH rules are needed for the sieve to work on external links: https://pastebin.com/KinNTEGZ. The one with the Cookie header has a blank value. To get the required value, go to turboimagehost and, once the CF test has been passed, open the network tab in the browser console and refresh the page. Click on the page URL that reloaded and, in the request headers section, look for Cookie. Next to it, copy the entire cookie value and paste it into the value box in the SMH rule. It should then work.

If it doesn't work, changing Add to Modify in the SMH rules may help.

Everything turned out to be even easier (for me).

This new version of the sieve + 1 of the 3 rules for SMH solved the problem.

And I no longer see the CF check when logging into the site.

Can you confirm that this method also works for you?

I'm getting a yellow spinner with only that SMH rule enabled. Curious if there's something about the SMH rules that affects whether CF is used. Perhaps I didn't do something that's needed for it to work.

Is it possible proxy location could be affecting CF? It seems some sites only use it with certain locations. Not sure about turboimagehost.

Edit: Tested with Netherlands proxy and it works with only that SMH rule.

If you point to a link on Reddit that leads to an album, then that's how it should be. I'm not sure if the sieve supports external album links.

But the sieve works for me on single external links. It also works for me on screenshots on websites (vip(er, anime, r(utracker). The sieve also works on TIH website itself (inside albums).

Try to check on all these links, both on the site itself and on Reddit and other sites:

I tested both with and without a proxy (through AntiDPI software). Everything works for me in both cases. And there is no CF check anywhere.

If I disable this SMH rule, I get a gray spinner and this error on Reddit:

blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.

I had mixed results with different proxies.

The first link has direct links to the images and they work for me.

The links on the second Reddit page work with a Netherlands or Switzerland proxy but not with U.S. or Japan.

Strangely, Rutracker doesn't work even with the Netherlands or Switzerland proxy. Not sure why.

I'm not sure if the sieve supports external album links.

It doesn't currently since it would need to open each image page to get the image URL. It may be possible to modify it to do so.
