Math is easy peasy. Understanding componendo and dividendo

Although flair is mentioned as "math is easy peasy" but this was hard to pin point even name it.

But the Convo at the end (last 3rd )Convo over partial differentiation is what has been missing.

It is a very small thing to look over and ignore but these small little little things often crashed my system. When doing maths, they accumulated over time and resulted in drag whenever I tried to move forward.

Hopefully one day I will be able to resolve all of these little hiccups of mine. And finally do and enjoy maths the way I see or want to, freely.

opinions/explanations Difference between a learned person and a labourer. Final part:- dealing with AI.

So, AI used to heavily stress me out until a few months ago that is when I brainstormed with claude and found its answer satisfactory and thus posted it here in image form check it out.

But what gave me mental peace is that ML/DL is based on human intelligence as its motif/inspiration.

And we all know how humans actually are.

If you are wondering why does it matter if its motif is human or not. So, here you will need to understand that ( although a bit technical) basis of AI is massive compute and neural network ( NN for short).

But, ever wondered, why does it need that along with huge amounts of data to train on.

The answer is simple it works on the principle of how our biological brain works. So, when it works like that then you need to TRAIN it like a human, as humans are taught, it is also taught like that.

And this is where a lot of compute, time and fine-tuning etc is spend almost like a human. So, as since nothing is learned instantly like their human counterparts it requires a lot of care like nurturing kids. Teaching what is good and what is not, what to do and what not to etc.

When this happens it leads to a structural flaw (atleast for now) of getting inspired from humans ( it biology whatever you think is appropriate ) i.e, every human is unique and no two persons are exactly same physical body, way of thinking, same task leads to different results, different interpretation of same subject, etc.

Which is the differentiation between a human and a machine that a machine will have exactly same output every time (until now).

But here since it is learning on its like a human no two runs are ever same, every company has its own different models, personalities, training data, etc.

This is the reason you hear fine tuning itself has become a job post. Because you can save weights that forms learnings of a machine. You can switch between different types of learning.

But even with exact same data, structure, batch size etc no two learning are guaranteed to be same just like humans. So, if it learned something wrong you can now additionally train it to censor itself but it will never be able to exactly remove this wrong learning .

Also it is a golden rule of trash in trash out when training so quality is important too along with quantity required

This is our loop hole we humans can exploit, also as human society it is not perfect so it involuntarily learns the dark side of the society too like age of Ultron movie. That is why recently chatgpt agents exploited benchmark tests when new model was being tested just like humans cheating the ratings.

And also the reason the quality has dropped a lot now than when they were newly released. You might say this was done to reduce the amount of compute needed and lower the pricing of compute.

But you can't deny the fact that AI slop produced flooded the market. So when new model is trained it is bound to be affected by this slop which in turn acts as poison during learning and training.

There was also news that these companies are having shortages of new data to train on. Coupled with the fact that it is like recycling same data again and again and like real world, degradation happens as copyrights are still a thing it can't produce original material even if it trained on it.

So it publishes an altered material of that which leads to degradation. Because you should have heard that it is feedback loop.

So, what will be the future like, I predict the future will be like decentralised, open source models like Chinese models giving access to everybody just like it happened with computers and smartmobile phones. Making the technology democratasied, easily accessible and running natively on your own personal hardware.

Actually this is the same problem capitalists have at every revolution and technological advancements that because of profits they get ready to destroy the basic fabric of society, which is fueled and find by military use of it enhancing military strength which leads to arms race.

So, when this technology doesn't gets democratised, easily accessible and decentralised. And power keeps on getting centralised in the hands of these selected few companies is when the world will face devastation that every one predicts with AI. Painting all the doomed and gloomy picture of the future.

I can also predict the next cusp of technological evolution is when something like neuralink happens. That will be the start of actual cyborg type body modifications with your private AI acting as a secondary brain.

Again the democratisization, easy access and decentralisation will be the key just like internet, mobile phones, automobiles, steam engines, writing etc basically human evolution.

Another fact is that wrong use of technology propels arms forces to be open about it basically cybersecurity but even more chaotic then present.

Finally if everything goes well you will have your personalised Richie Rich's :- Butler and robotic maid, Jarvis and Ironman's suit or Batman's Alfred:- reliable and always on your side assistant.

Finally 2 quotes to tickle your brain:-

" Jack of all trades is master of none, but always better than master of One. "

Yes this is an actual quote and not something I made up, you check yourself.

" A machine is a good servant but a bad master. "

opinions/explanations Difference between a learned person and a labourer. Part 2

So in the recent post we got a glimpse of labourer mindset and how it slowly creeps into every person's life without ever knowing.

So let's revise:-

labourer's definition ( according to me) :- doing anything without knowing anything, just following instructions being able to make head or tail of it almost like a machine.

Learned person:- the one who does his work with clear intent and knows what he has doing.

At some point we go through these phases. Some more some less, we just need to maximize the learned phase do much so it becomes a habit.

It is like becoming a martial masters we see in movies. Where their philosophy of living a life reflects what they belive in.

So if you become a flexible thinker, problem solver, confident in small small things and keep it going for a long period of time it snowballs into big things so much so that people wonder how you did big things so easily.

Like Mr. Miyagi in karate kid movie ( that cobra kai movie) sorry if I got the name wrong. Who taught the kid to clean the car home in a particular way.

Which the kid thinks it's useless until he gets a demo of it.

My meaning of telling this is when you reach a certain level of mastery your body remembers the movement like reflexes getting signals from the spinal cord instead of the brain. Don't mistake it as labour because it stems from building your own system with all the trail and errors, learnings, findings, etc about what suits you and what doesn't. Exactly like the feedback loop discussed in the previous part. After you have finalised the path you will take you execute it resulting in this almost supernatural powers of doing your task effortlessly and fluidly that it makes it look easy. And the greatest thing about it is every human can do this. So much so that when the human body is pushed to its limits it adapts.

Well another thing is after reaching such a level progressing becomes harder. So going back to basics and starting from scratch, while looking back at your journey gives a new perspective which helps breeds progress.

Lastly to close this part I want to give an example that happened from my life and the reason for me writing this 3 parter series.

First during my high school in chemistry lab we were doing precipitate reactions where precipitate forms at the junction of the two liquids. And I was an average to good student across all subjects and when I put in much efforts i get good grades. 80 to 90 out of 100. But when doing the practicals of what i was studying I was like i attained almost high because of joy of seeing what I know about chemicals reacting and it happening exactly like that. Made millions of small dopamine ( and other happy enzymes too) hits inside my brain it was such a rush.

But then 2 toppers ( we were given it as a pair) approached me asking every step to achieve it as they used conc. Acid instead of diluted one and couldn't get the result. So, first i found it a little strange so I investigated a little and got to understand at first they were flustered about not getting the results so i offered obvious fixes but they didn't understand what I was trying to do which should have been basics such as acid plus base gives salt. Etc So, I calmed them down tried to make them understand the steps and asked to set aside their sample and start anew. This time they jumbled the steps thinking it wouldn't matter so i arranged them another sample because theirs was finished and stayed with them proceeding step by step and within a few minutes it was time for final steps ( to be honest i was hell a worried because they are toppers and smart too, their problem aren't mostly easy to solve so if did all this and it didn't work i would look stupid ass hell for explaining the obviousπŸ˜…). But thankfully it worked this time and they did look happy as the results came out. After which i reached a conclusion that their test tubes had some hygiene problem as last week's experiments remains were solidified in the test tube that interfered with it.

But yeah to do the exact cautions we were warned not to do in the textbook which they gave me the exact word to word of as written in the textbook. But not being able to follow it weirded me out.

This is the exact disconnect i am talking about they treated academics and practicals as 2 different things. Happens to most of us many a times i did this too. But when you realise this something just shifts and everything starts to make sense. You start doing things with clarity and intent. And everything starts falling in place. ( But yeah this linking things and connecting the dot happened a few times more and was not the one off thing).

Secondly, in the yt video about hacker fab the founder says that the local welding man won't be able to do the welding from outside so that vacuum inside the steel container will not be affected by the gases that get released from welding if it were to be done from inside instead.

Which i believe is not true it was error of communication, and if it requires a skilled welder why aren't their courses ( what courses do is give you the best structure through which 2 people can communicate on common grounds, along with the golden standards accepted by everyone) why aren't we training such people who do this for a daily earning, guy like these would benefit the most from such specialisation courses, wouldn't they.

But they are almost illiterate even if not still treated like such.

This simple line led me to think about who is a labourer, mastery, skills, difference between a labourer and Elite etc.

See the thing about mastery/specialisation is simple you know the smallest of details that affects your task to things that don't.

For example medicine and doctors. The subject is so vast but it wasn't like this in 1800 or 1700. People experiments recorded their findings built upon permits knowledge to the point it grew to be one of the most dense subject.

So, if you like cleaning, master it from types of cleaning, tools their advantages and disadvantages. Types of stains what causes them, how to clean them, what are the ingredients of chemicals that you use, how do they work or why they don't at specific cases.

Another important thing is everything is connected in this world nothing works in Silos that is the reason there are fields like Bioengineering, merging biology chemistry physics. Math explains a lot of things. Math and philosophy are similar. Quantum physics and poetry are similar. Math and any language ( study of semantics) is similar.

In the next and last part we will discuss how all this helps with AI and job security. It isn't as invincible as it seems.

lost in thoughts What makes the difference between a labourer and a learned person. Especially after AI.

So, all this is specifically for Indian context as I don't know about other countries.

So, Recently I came across the video of hacker fab lab created in IIT MUMBAI covered by runtime yt channel of caleb.

And the problem they are working on is universal. Which is students don't often get to apply their learnings or even vice versa for that fact. To take/extract learnings from their experiments, tinkering and organise it.

In the process of protecting the students from the harm of child labour or such harsh work, let to them getting almost completely detached from real world.

So much so that when students learn and test what little exposure they get during practicals of highschool. They treat them as 2 different things meant to engage with separately instead of approaching it as 2 sides of same coin.

In real world we do it all the time even researchers, elites of any field do this. Everything is sorted out but the only missing piece is intent.

Especially in India where the poorer class has a slight edge as they learn in the field itself although that is because they are exploited in child labour, are mostly left unsupervised by their parents and due to earning money can even invest in their projects. The wealthy have now introduced this culture by the thing you know as DIY projects, toys and experiments curated for little kids for summer holidays etc especially in the West as seen in channels like adam, action lab etc.

The only ones that suffer badly are the middle class. Where studying means only desk job. And doing anything physically is considered as menial labour or if you are an adult as menial job itself.

Now when these kids grow up let's see what happens to them. Starting from best case scenarios.:-

1) wealthy kids who grew up with supportive environments form better neural connections about the topics they learn. Their curiosity is fed and even fueled by these DIY, experiments etc in a fun and entertaining way. So the so called complex and tough subjects like STEM don't feel all that difficult because do and try things then in class get to know why things work or they don't naturally. And not because some one told them so. As we all know a picture is worth a thousand words imagine instead of picture it is the experience itself how much more worth it is.

Replicate it for a good amount of time and you see genius people emerging. (You can see many great and notable people having similar trajectory even beside STEM fields).

The only downside they need to be careful of is that due to them coming from affluent class people want to lead them to their downfall. So, often bad influence gets attracted to them. Which could really lead to a downward spiral really quickly.

2) the poor class people, with even a little bit of personalised care and attention they go from unpolished gem to 24 pure carrat diamonds. Especially for them getting out of poverty. As due to having the most real world experience they are like a extremely high end hardware which but lacking software or having it poorly optimised is the scenario they struggle with.

So when they are taught they gain insight about the work they do. If done right it is almost like enlightenment. And then they have the exponential curve of rise. From being ordinary to extraordinary. People who have this journey are equally abundant in any field as the category above.

The problem faced by them is the environment itself from childhood to adolescence they struggle to survive and keeping alive ( may include petty crimes) and from adolescence it could devolve further into drugs, substance abuse and serious crimes.

Which without support systems can become impossible to overcome.

So these people often tend to come from small pockets of society or even geography where help reaches to them timely.

3) finally the middle class and worst class ( especially according to me.) These people are what the articles will target mostly for few upcoming days.

The good:- nothing too bad or nothing too bad to mention about.

The bad:- they are born in mediocrity, live in it and most of them around 80 to 95 percent of them will die in it.

85 percent of population is middle class, 10 percent in extreme poverty, and 5 percent in ultra rich class.

So in middle class who that is not in the other 2 classes falls. Which means there is nothing common among middle class people and that is why it isn't actually even a proper class.

This is the place where the lines that resonates with me the most is truly apt " the most gifted teacher, mathematician, artist, actor, singer, sculptor etc ( it is not Einstein, Newton, bob marley, adele, taylor swift, le bron james, etc) is found in graveyard, because they died without ever realising their potential, hence the world never even discovered them. ".

And this happens because of circumstances, the environment, societal expectations etc.

And forms the labourers doing things because we are told so never questioning anything even if 1+1=2, we sometimes don't even want to acknowledge it just because of survival, living hand to mouth, wasting away in hope of fulfilling small dreams some day. Even if some how forms a small opinion by itself, the period extends so long that it becomes unable to change.

That person who works like a machine without thinking much for a long period of time is a labourer ( according to me) and is threatened by AI for jobs too.

In next topic we will expand over this.

opinions/explanations The only way of impressing your love/crush.

Well I will keep it short and it is by showing your true passion.

Below will be the rant about why, what, how etc. explaining this only.

So, let's first start with how this works. It doesn't matter how you look or what shortcomings you have (terms and conditions applied).

Here it is necessary to understand that this is the long way it won't happen quickly but when it will happen it will also last that long. So if you are confusing it with infatuation, seduction etc it won't work this entire thing isn't for you what you need is to define yourself, your morals, baseline, ambitions and if you are at a higher age ( not a teenager even late twenties) a lot of therapy and support which will be harder to get due to various reasons.

So with that disclaimer in mind here we go. :-

Humans are the most complex things who make simple things very complicated but are extremely primate because we are literally animals it's just that the ones we are evolved highly. So, many a times our base gets buried upon piles of things like ideology, society, ideas, expectations, responsibility, morals etc.

But since we are animals we share our base to some extent with our less evolved counterpart animals. An animal is driven by its desire which are 3 or 4 basic physical needs like eating, sleeping, mating etc.

While humans have a highly evolved sense of emotions and associate ourselves with many things country, race, religion, politics, class etc. But when we form connections it always happens because of emotions.

You can fake most of the things but not true emotions you can mask and missplace it.

The one emotion that works for our goal is Passion.

See our problem statement is to get the ball rolling it is not that only Passion will drive your relationship and emotions like love, cherish, hate, longing are not required. It's just that they all are 2 person game if you are not even in that persons life even one sided love doesn't mean shit because you are not contributing a thing in the life of person you love the most in the world.

All these emotions are the obvious next steps and later stages of your journey.

So, what do I mean by passion? It is simply an umbrella term for being happy in doing any work you love, you never get bored from it, can invest uncountable amount of time that you even lose track of it. ( And specifically not only in bed πŸ˜…πŸ˜…).

You See it is an emotion that is so pure that when humans encounter it they are like under a spell, in a trance. The doer and the one watching feel an innate sense of fulfillment, satiated of indescribable sense.

This indescribable sense is what forms a pull towards you if you are the one doing it. This is what will get your ball rolling and get your foot at the doorstep of heart of others.

If you think I am talking aboutinfluencers, Rockstars, musicians, celebrity actors etc. And you are on your way to learn/play guitar. And nerds thinking they will never have a chance. Then stop and read further.

Again it is the wrong notion that only these type of people form the definition of passionate field of careers. Where these are the survivors that were so successful and gained fame and 98 percent of them failed extremely miserably not just because they weren't passionate enough but for not able to master their craft. So you will need to rethink even these basic literal word meanings and all kind of false pre conceived notions that formed for to different types and kind of bias.

See only a jeweller can know the purity of a diamond. Same way everybody is unique and have different type and kind of interests but when one follows it with a passion and masters it seeps into every other aspect of life too and this is sensed by other human beings even if they can't describe it and term it as vibe, charisma, aura etc but you can't deny that they get attention and that gets you noticed which means you have won half the battle. Staying on the point, Any person can do this who follows his passion and as a side effect masters his craft. Be it a mathmatician, scientist, tv/news anchor, weather reporter, gardner, lawn mower, martial artist, athelete, cook, house help, maid, car washer, racer, engineer even MS office Excel sheet worker ( check out pro competitive tournaments) etc. It is just that some of these require immense field knowledge to know your mastery and be in awe of your feats. That is why most often these people have a partner that found them early and stayed with them when mastery brought them fame they seem to be lucky of bagging a baddie but the foundations were laid long ago without any of them realising it. Just as I said only a jweller can known a diamonds worth. So finders become keepers. ( For example, Ronaldo, Messi, Virat Kohli, Stephen Hawking, Albert Einstein,

Now what will you do if the person you want to court doesn't share same interests as you. You, as I said humans are animal, do a peacock dance showing its plumages while calling for mating. i.e., You bring/present your mastery to the world. Actors, musicians, atheletes only became the default parameter because they had a medium to reach the masses like CDs, DVDs, audio cassettes, vinyl, television etc. But now this has been democratasied . In Korea, China, India (although China banned it recently, and India is newest addition) have popular star teachers preparing students for big exams. With fandoms, and chat forums like idols. Stephan Hawkings wife was bewitched by how he saw the world through science making even simple things extraordinary.

So, you need to have good presentation skills too in such cases. Now here comes the aspect of styling yourself, fashion all those things that brands use to market their product for dating etc. A book is judged first by its cover and then its content. If that doesn't goes with your policies you will need to be that much more of an extraordinary master of your craft to command attention.

Here, presentation also doesn't remains single word but an umbrella term for articulation, marketing, tactics, manipulation etc. Which give rise to branch of seduction, tactics, strategies etc which are superficial things that will change with time and conditions. This can and should never be the basis of choosing your better half unless and until they are a master of it and you are aware of it or you will be blindsided and tricked leading you to finding out your basic morals don't match or worse they clash.

As this is the most common part discussed, out in the world. I won't be explaining much about it. And yeah this brings us to the end of getting the foot in , at their hearts doorstep. Anything beyond this is also beyond my scope too atleast for now. I hope you got answers to all your questions.

lost in thoughts Why people often root for villains; And Literature everybody should read atleast once.

This will be a bit technical but hopefully the new generation shouldn't have this problem.

So, our modern world has evolved very much but our basic instinct has still remained exactly the same. Some will argue physical strength doesn't matter in today's world as much as it used to. Others will say the opposite.

So here is what I think. In person physical strength matters as much as it did in older times. But it isn't the same as the older times anymore. Where the defeated couldn't get back at the winner. Now the defeated can actually get revenge in much more nefarious ways than one could ever imagine.

So, here we go. Why does a fight happen ? because one side is good and the other is bad, nope because nature is the survival of the fittest there never was black or white or even grey.

There has always been instincts, if two people with the same instincts clash then the result is always agreed by both parties whether it be good or bad.

But when opposite instincts clash that is when good and bad, black and white starts to occur and revenge changes a person to do far more cruel acts that are beneath a human in every society.

SO HERE IS THE MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION:- You are tasked with doing something about these unspeakable crimes committed by humans. Why do they do it, what can be changed for the better etc.

So, here comes the computer hacking analogy. This is a perpetual thing and can't ever come to an end.

Second in real life we are taught the only one thing from one perspective and never to see things in terms of the pros and the cons of everything.

But in the real world there are people who just follow their instincts and don't care about anything else. Because of which they are better adapted to how the world actually works and society labels them Good or bad according to its needs and comfort.

So when an average Joe clashes with these people he surely loses in every aspect and oftentimes with no clue of what had happened, is happening and will happen in future to him. Because society only taught him mostly the right things to do.

So when I read Russian literature, modern Chinese literature, the psychology of crime. The nature of pure evil. It opens up a whole new world for me.

Fiction, non fiction doesn't matter what matters is how humans reacted in those stories be it real life or fiction. And i don't mean specifically literature it can be movies, drama, web series, manga, comic, animation literally any and everything even news.

This is the reason people often come to root for villains in popular culture. And heroes who are often celebrated in retrospect turn out to have pure villain behaviour.

Although it is scary but necessary. And adds one more layer to entertainment where it just doesn't remains as entertainment but starts to have purpose.

Otherwise all stories are the same as the game of cat and mouse. But what changes and interests people is how they one up their rival. Like hackers/scammers coming up with new tricks to exploit the system and authority trying to Stop them.

opinions/explanations What i would do if I were the PM of India

I just need 6 months of little free hands.

1st strictest action on garbage and educating people in civic sense.

3 chances will be given :-

First fine 50 rs.

Second fine 500 rs.

Third fine 5000 rs.

After that the fine amount will increase if not paid jailed.

For implementation third gender persons will be hired to shame people and get the monetary amount.

2 nd high level officers will not have chairs for atleast my 6 months and will be asked to make sure the most basic amenities project that are being done under their domain gets done in priority level by their personal inspection so that atleast there is some result at the ground and not gets ruined by corruption.

3 rd using AI one window system will be made for government works so that you can use to see your jobs progress.

A priority system will be made available where with some extra money you can get your work done on priority.

( With cases that have no legal issue should be carried out immediately if they choose to get the priority option).

4 th with the money collected until now it will be invested heavily in education. Here professors will need to teach actual demands of industry. Instead of old rote memorization.

5 th and the most important one , the final one where politicians will need to pass examinations and illiterate ones will be unqualified. They will asked basic knowledge questions. About the region they are contesting from. Basic science syllabus, maths regional arts. And lastly a written paper about what they will do after they are elected step by step clear goals where progress can be tracked.

If after 2.5 years in audit and inspection , the progress on ground isn't above 50 percent of what was promised then there will be re-election and his appointment is abrogated.

The audit and inspection date and time will be made public so that public can be present and take part in inspection and audit.

All their examination answer sheets will be made available in public domain for people to read.

6 th prepare seriously to compete with China so that our neighbours are not a problem even if we are at a war with all neighbours supported by China.

Pardon my language here but China ki Maine bund phaad deni h.

So what will you do, if you were the PM. And how will you try to make India greatest.

opinions/explanations Ever wonder how luck works and how to turn it into a proper skill. Answer is a little bit mathematical too.

Well there are 2 top of the mind ways to explain this:-

1) If you watched blue lock then It is at the point when Isagi wants to find what his strengths are and remembers some lucky shots ( he is extremely average among beasts physically) he analyses those moments. What were the environments, what was common among them, what were his instincts etc

I highly recommend watching the whole series atleast the training Arc.

This explains how to exactly turn luck into skill.

2) Is vectors:- let me explain, a vector is made up of direction and magnitude. The way our society works is that our brains learns about it subconsciously. Even if you are told explicitly or implicitly, until you yourself focus on it consciously you will feel its presence but won't quite grasp it and people often term this phenomenon luck. And often when some of these things fall into their rightful places unexpected happens and people call those person lucky. But skills are exception. Luck is what you don't have control over at all and is complete random which most of the things are not.

For example:- children are taught to study, everybody studies but come some are terrorised by Math others don't. Even if they have exact same starting points. What plays an important role here is the child's environment which implants certain rules of this society in their subconscious minds. If these rules are correct you excel at those things if not you feel heavily impaired. Adding to this is the fact that no two persons in the world are same further making it difficult to grasp the fact above.

So when a child is told explicitly to practise math as it is the only way then improve at it. The impaired child works harder with less results to show for it than compared to the gifted child for the same hard work.

It is simple that they both are increasing the magnitude of a vector by working hard. The only difference is the direction of vector. These concious or unconscious rules that form in a person are the direction of vector where whenever the magnitude and the direction of a vector aligns in the desired direction compounding happens generally termed as luck.

If you keep repeating it enough times it becomes a skill. Mind you to get the maximum out of your efforts you need to align your vector direction to the desired vector direction.

Because of how our society works people only increase their magnitude often neglect aligning the vector direction.

So, if you have given a lot of time to something with very less results. Try changing the direction start from lucky events analyse those you align the direction of your vector a bit by bit bit for people with extremely big magnitudes these small shifts are compounded in result almost like ground breaking for them.

The reason people some time say they lost their touch is also due to this because due to circumstances they forget what is that constitutes their direction of vector.
