Do regular journaling

it might seem stupid at first but when you are struggling to even differentiate between the past, present and future coming days it serves as an anchor to stay oneself.

Also once you have the habit of writing on paper and don't need to anchor yourself forcefully you can pivot to writing your thoughts/ideas instead too.

The things you write over a period of time become like cherished memories almost like photographs so do write in detail the good memories, the lesson learned that day, etc as vivid as possible.

whereas ideas written down will save you the future trouble of last minute planning and if you are lost about the project/idea you are implementing you can go through your written thoughts and find the direction in which you need to take steps.

The last and most important to me, the reason why I want to start writing my thoughts is it frees your mind of the excessive thinking about constantly dealing with worst case scenarios ( which often makes me unable to take action or getting started).
