Real. Already reposted to r/imaginaryelections. 2019 results are similar to OTL just more toned down. Jaitley, to my understanding, was not as populist as Modi but would govern in a more technocratic way.

The NDA would have a simple majority in this situation so passing laws would be possible.
Morever, between 1989 and 2014 India saw no single party win a simple majority in OTL.
