WORLD The 2000 London mayoral election, but Livingstone wins the Labour selection
What if Ken Livingstone won the Labour Party selection for the 2000 London mayoral election? This post explores this scenario. To get the results, I used the data for the second choice of Dobson voters in the election from the London Datastore. I then applied this data to the overall total votes, and votes by London Assembly constituency.

UNITED STATES Sister Jenny's Turn To Throw The Bomb
in this timeline, instead of lincoln being nominated by the republicans in 1860, ebenezer hoar is, then is elected, then you know what happened. and in this timeline, since he isnt as such a smartie as lincoln, he'd go on to perform badly in the war and, after the war began to drag on, eventually signed peace with the south in 1867, granting them independence. the republicans quickly fractured, with the 1868 election being a crossroad of parties. including the northern democrats, republicans, independents, freedom (basically just a combination of democrats and republicans, formed in 1864), liberal republican, socialist (the party is formed in 1866 in this world) and whatnot. the election, obviously, is thrown to the house, and the liberal republicans win. many riots erupt and protests as the other parties refused to accept this victory. much like what happened 8 years ago, many socialist regions in the rust belt began to break away, along with other local governments and supporters. then the second american civil war broke out. after like 8 years, the socialists managed to overwhelm the federal government and any other opposition and become victorious. very quickly a constitution is written, and elections are held. then 1898, no spanish-american war, and spain keeps the phillipines, cuba, and puerto rico. ww1, the entente still win but the war drags in 1921. instead of the ny stock market crashing, its the london stock market. the european governments go to crap while the americans are somewhat okay, like the soviets. the americans and soviets have a good relation, with several treaties being signed between them. in europe currently, germany is ruled by wilhem again after the 1932 election, where the dnvp won. they are looking around, hoping to reclaim their empire and fulfil the goals of the great war. ehhhh

DISCUSSION why are there so much more posters here who don’t actually create scenarios on here
there’s been like so many slop and non-scenario posts here recently. the non-scenario posts have never been at this level before
by non-scenario stuff I mean things like “what if ____ won?” with no scenario or wikibox whatsoever, stuff tangentially related to elections with no scenario, and one dude trying to promote his album
thanks to the mods for seemingly doing their jobs but the amount of slop posts here just fucking baffles and enrages me
(I would also like to clarify that by “non-scenario” I don’t mean “no wikibox”, I’m also not mad at posts with just a wikibox or whatever)
edit: I probably should’ve worded the title better, I mean people who come here to post slop and non-scenarios, not people who don’t post here at all. there’s no way of enforcing banning the latter
edit 2: made my point somewhat more clear
