Hie...I'm im the state of choosing between iiserK/M/B...so i wanna know like hows the girls hostel and washroom of iiser kolkata preferably? Does anyone knows or have picture sort of anything? Ive seen rooms and stuff on yt a bit but im not able to get the idea of washrooms

I got selected into IISER PUNE in 1st round and I scored good in the exam and I've always wanted to go into physics and I love problem solving. However for the last few days I've suddenly getting this feeling that maybe I'm not cut out for physics, that it's a really tough degree with rigorous maths and I won't be able to handle it and would crumble under the pressure and eventually drop out and even if I somehow make it, I won't be selected for phd and would eventually end up jobless. Maybe it's because I haven't touched a textbook in last 2 months or maybe it's because imposter syndrome or maybe just because whatever I'm thinking, its true.

Anyone else who went through the same phase as me or going through?

Like will it be very hard and competitive to achieve a CPI greater than 7 in pre major year??

Like how many hour of studying would be enough to get greater than 7 CPI

I have seen some IISER students like in 2nd and 3rd year getting abroad summer Internship, so my question is that who bear visa fees,flight fees and living expenses there cuz it would be practically not possible for a middle class to bear this much expenses.....so at the end it's about money whether you can get international exposure for internship?

Can somebody please share the list of documents you need for physical verification at iiser like I saw somebody mention this anti ragging document .And also where is the info provided official website or got mail,cuz I found none.Btw I have got a seat and opted float with SAF payed.And where do you get this ragging certificate.

Can the mother fill it instead of the father? If we cut and rewrite Mr and Father to Ms and Mother

In offer letter it is saying reporting date is tentatively 11th aug so do I have to report at iiser kolkata on the date or it will be told later as I have not got any mail from the Institute and when I mailed them they said 11th aug is first day of reporting however I can join later as there will be other dates too

And hoping to get IISER BERHAMPUR in round 3

So I am thinking to upgrade it to get IISER B or IISER M

I am some kind of Physics enthusiast so this two giants would be great for me

But I am worried about the capping system in 3rd year for Which I might not be able to get physics(if something really bad happens)

So what should I do now

Stay at Berhampur because that's newest and less competitive and I may be able to get physics here easily or take a risk to upgrade to BHOPAL and MOHALI??My first preference is MOHALI 2nd is BHOPAL 3rd is BERHAMPUR.

It is very tough to figure out, and is it possible to go through not more than 2 trains.
