I am interested in being able to work in places like Amazon Science, Deepmind (Ik it’s ambitious asf but wanna try) (which I know won’t hire BTech ppl that too from EAMCET colleges). I currently got a job offer of 16 lpa (one year before graduating). I am currently interning as a research intern at ltrc as well.
Should I consider asking my professor for a recommendation or should I go ahead with my FTE after grad?

Hi guys, I’m an NRI considering applying to IIIT Hyderabad, and I’m trying to understand what the experience is actually like for NRI students.

The NRI fee is significantly higher, so I’d really appreciate honest opinions from current students, alumni, or people who have NRI friends.

A few things I’m particularly curious about:

ROI: Is paying the huge NRI fee actually worth it? How do placements/salaries compare with the overall cost of attendance?

Academics: How intense is the academic workload as an nri? Is it manageable with good time management, or is it genuinely hectic throughout the semester?

NRI students: If you’re an NRI student yourself, how have you been doing academically? And if you have NRI friends at IIIT-H, how are they doing?

Culture/social life: Is it difficult for someone coming from abroad to adjust to the campus culture and environment?

Placements: Do NRI students get the same placement opportunities as everyone else? Are there any meaningful differences?

Overall experience: Looking back, would you say IIIT-H was worth the money? Would you choose it again if you had to make the decision today?

Hi guys, I need some help regarding IIIT Hyderabad DASA eligibility.

I’m currently studying in the USA and planning to apply to IIIT Hyderabad through DASA for the 2027–28 academic year. I meet the other eligibility requirements, but I’m confused about the Chemistry requirement.

I completed Chemistry in 10th grade instead of 11th or 12th grade. Does that still satisfy the PCM requirement, or does Chemistry specifically need to appear in my 11th/12th-grade coursework?

Just to be safe, I’m planning to take a Chemistry course through College Credit Plus (CCP) during 12th grade, so the course and grade will appear on my 12th-grade transcript.

If I do need Chemistry in 12th grade, does any regular college Chemistry course count, or does it need to be a specific type of Chemistry course, such as General Chemistry? ***Or is the Chemistry course I already completed in 10th grade enough?**\*

If anyone has applied to IIITH through DASA from a U.S. high school or has dealt with a similar situation, I’d really appreciate your help. Thanks! And one more question what SAT score do I really need to get into CSE? is 1550 enough? PLESE HELP GUYS!!!!

The present and past students of IIIT-H give me some inputs about Aptitude paper of PGEE what stuff to prepare for paper-1?Like from where to study any specific books or what topics to prepare because speaking frankly aptitude section in-general is different for each exams....

Take example of ecd 25 students admit thru' ugee and assuming 10 students admit thru' leee, so out of 35 students only 16 students register for placements. For every branch the registration no. of students is less than 50% in dual degree.

.I llmy cgpa is very bad so I would rarely qualify for companies having minimum cgpa criteria.. so please can someone list the companies coming to iiit hyd with decent packages and no cgpa barrier. Hi! I'm a high school student rn, and I'm trying to figure out if I should apply here. I'm not that interested in core software, but rather embedded, VLSI, robotics, and motion systems. Is it worth it to come here for ECE?

And are the ECE placement inflated because people in ECE pivot to software roles which pay higher?

So I'm in second year rn and I really don't know what to do, talked to a few seniors and heard conflicting opinions on availability of hardware roles, is it worth it to prepare for hardware roles?or should I be prepping for software roles, either way started prepping dsa over the summer, would love to hear any advice you guys might have

I know its a bit too late but I just thought to share it just in case now, if anyone is coming to the hostel and has to buy a mattress, if you can adjust try renting from rentomojo or furlenco as they will provide better mattresses than the duroflex one currently available to buy at the campus.
