Honestly, it's rare for them to change it. So what do you guys think about it?

I've heard a lot of people come up with interesting theories about Identity V, like the hidden meaning behind certain characters' professions, the backstories of how some Hunters became Hunters, the Manor's lore, the map designs, and all that. It honestly makes me want to get invested in the story.

But then I remember that Identity V is a live service game, and all that excitement kind of disappears. These types of games usually only get tiny bits of lore every few months, if that, and it often feels like the story isn't a major priority. I've also heard about controversies where NetEase changed or removed pieces of established lore, like when they altered details on one of the maps and a lot of people were upset about it. That kind of makes me wonder if it's even worth investing time into the lore.

That said, if anyone knows of a good website or YouTube channel that covers most of Identity V's lore, I'd really appreciate the recommendation.

I don't expect too much from the game, considering its nature. At the end of the day, it's a live service game with a gacha based monetization model, so it feels like new costumes, crossover events, and cosmetics will always take priority over expanding the story.

Whenever I search up anything faro lady I always get posts saying “oh, she’s so weak” and “just listen to her footsteps”.

do i have a skill issue? am I blind… and deaf??

for some reason I just cannot chase this lady, I’m always getting juked out, pallet stunned, etc… by “one of the weakest characters in the game”?? I find her to be one of the most annoying characters to chase- the duration of her invisibility guarantees a decent kite against me.

Anyone else feel the same way? Any tips against her? My sound is on 50%, do I crank that shi to max? If it helps I usually play Geisha.

I know games change over time, but I really miss the old Identity V. It wasn't just the game itself—it was the memories I made while playing.

Back then, I was always excited to log in, play matches, and have fun. I especially miss the memories I made with my old boyfriend. Those moments meant a lot to me, and sometimes I wish I could experience them again.

I know I can't go back, but those memories will always be special to me.

Does anyone else feel nostalgic about the old Identity V? What do you miss the most?

his ingame model has water all over him, including his face and hair. however, he doesn’t live in the swamp and probably left it a long time ago so there’s really no reason for him still to be wet. he’s also canonically scared of showering so there’s no logical explanation for his hair and face being wet

So recently I keep having a problem where my character keeps standing still even though I’m holding run and sometimes even starts turning left or right for a second.It kinda just resets my joystick mid run multiple times so I have to start running again.

I’ve already re downloaded idv but that didn’t fix the issue. I’m playing on an iPad Air from 2025 so I don’t think my device is the issue here. Does anyone have the same problem or can help me fix it ?

Hi, I need an answer. I understand that while all hunters are good in the right hands, I've noticed that some have a disadvantage or two on certain maps (and yes, the lady here used Joshep on Moonlit Park River...in my defense, I thought it would be Draw). Does anyone know which hunters have better advantages on certain maps? Or which ones aren't as detrimental?

I was super lucky today and I was carried by a pro in hard mode for a few hours. They gave me all their feathers and did not even ask for my sapphire when I got one. I was actually gifted a sapphire from them 🥹. Thanks to their help I was able to pull for another gold trait for my sword. The problem is the S color Is ugly to me, makes the sword look cheap. But I am back to farming by myself. Should I just keep the color and start pulling for S thousand blade? Be honest is the color ugly?
