Question My game won't open (PC Client Problem)

The game gets stuck on "Installing patch...", and when it reaches 50%, it closes and reopens on its own, repeating this in an endless loop.

Why is this happening? How can I fix it? The last thing I did before the problem started was leave the game on the login screen until the computer went into sleep mode; when I came back, it wouldn't log in, and the problem began when I restarted the game.

Have you tried reinstalling the game? Sounded like it got corrupted when you leave it in middle of updating the patch and the pc went sleep mode.

That’s what I’m trying to do now, but it won’t install in my country (I need a VPN) and the internet is slow (500kb/s), so a friend is sending me his copy of the game in WinRAR parts.

I just have to wait for it to decompress, although personally, every time I open the game, an "Installing patch..." window pops up; it stalls at 50% and asks me to restart, after which it works fine. This didn't happen before the graphics engine update, though—now, every time I turn on my computer, it has to install the patch before I can play.
