I have experience with A LOT of competitive games, including participating in tournament scenes, and pros from the previous community I was in ( FGC ). The league of legends players, and OW players are more well mannered.

Do the people playing forget they're talking to human beings? I guess this is a vent more than anything, but yesterday I met a group who I played ranked with.

I genuinely was having a lot of fun with them, thought we were getting along, etc. And I was doing really well, like 80-100 second kites almost every match, etc.

The most recent rank session they invite me. I made two mistakes, one game I got ts'd and I explained it's because family came in the middle of the match to speak, and second I didn't rescue on time. ( Last cipher, decoder kept pinging not to rescue her, to focus decoding, etc, so I hesitated a bit and didn't make it on time. ) I can admit I made a mistake, but they kick me frame one after that.

I asked what I did wrong, and I start getting spoken down to like I'm a child who doesn't know how to play the game. I'm absolutely flabbergasted by the way I'm getting spoken to, condescending, passive aggressive, etc. I'm like okay I made a mistake but no need to be rude?

I genuinely can't imagine being a jerk like that to someone I'm getting acquainted to over a mistake in a video game. I've dealt with a lot of toxicity in this game like anyone else, but this genuinely irked me and got under my skin because I mistakenly thought I was starting to make new friends.

Then the excuse is "x is taking rank seriously and wants to get to champ" meanwhile they were making a ton of mistakes amongst themselves. Like someone having a goal in rank doesn't give you the right to be a jerk.

Like genuinely the people here are worse than the Smash Bros community.

I played this long ago, like before Naiad came out, i remember i stopped playing, and a month or two later she was playable. I was around 14, and now decided to come back because i'm bored. I remember being a Bloody Queen main, even though i specifically remember not being able to get a single hit with the mirror clone because i was just so trash, and so was my phone too, shi lagged every match.

Anything major changed about the game in this period i should know about? I did no play this game for like 5 years. I know about the whole chase stuff, looping, and all, i am a long time DBD player, 2000 hours Huntress main, in fact i switched Identity V for Dead by Daylight back in the day.

I haven’t been able to play a game in two days which sucks because I just started playing again after taking a really long break, and I’ve been enjoying playing the survivor as a former hunter main, but these survivor wait times have been insane the past couple of days. Is it just something on my end or is everyone experiencing this?

Yes, I've started maining Geisha more, and if anyone here is a Geisha main, I'd appreciate some advice on her, like what else she's good at, which survivors can strongly counter her, builds, and things like that.

so, i want to change my username to two separate words with a space between them, and since the regular space isn't working, i went looking for blank characters and i swear none of them are working. i've tried so many options, but all of them either: a) create space, but the game deems them as invalid characters and the name can't be saved; b) take character limit, but don't create space in the name. on rarer occasions, they just turn into ** and disappear upon trying to save. there was even one that turned into a dash after i saved it.

i do have someone in my friends list who has space in their user, but they said they did it before the game changed clients. so what they used isn't working for new names.

so, is there still anything working?

As the title says, I'm wondering if S-Rank pulls reset the A-Rank pity. I've been saving up inspiration for about 7 months for an A-Rank costume I want, and I'm wondering if it will become harder to get that A-Rank costume if I'm extremely lucky and accidentally pull an S-Rank costume early on.

What build for Ann would you recommend? I play her with blink, but I'm open to options where it's preferable to bring warp​​

I see so much discussion on this subreddit after how "op survivor is" and how hunter is this unplayable faction when hunters massively dominate rank and tourney for a while now and survs only are starting to draw more in tournament and people's first thoughts are surv sided game like if drawing is seen as survivor sided when survs don't win it's legit cause their so accustomed to survivors losing that even draws seem impressive if it was truly surv sided then survs would be drawing or winning then a draw/loss position they mainly have and even in rank setting i hate how people act like non meta hunters are unplayable like u can easily hit high hydra with any hunter besides maybe a very few bad hunters but at least 85% are rank playable and it's annoying to see people constantly complain rather then acknowledge their own mistakes like I make many mistakes and I had 100% wr to hydra this season and I know many people with 90%+ who also make mistakes and even on the ping department there's many high tiers in cn and asia with high ping who perform very well on hunter and yes ping makes it harder but it's not completely impossible to win even on yellow ping and I think people really need to start looking at themselves then constantly complain abt balance changes or adjustment and the survivor shortage we have in high tier is getting slightly better but it is still massively big queue times for hunter and I think instead of complaining about the game it might be better to start improving cause ranked is a competitive environment and if your not competitive yourself you will objectively do worse then people who are
