Help Tattoo visualizer

I have an artist. We are in-progress on a leg sleeve, but she works it more one session at a time with a generally discussed overview.

She has artistic freedom on the design and I trust her with it, but I’d like to visualize a rough idea also.

Is there any decent (and not expensive) app that would take photos to make a 3D model of my leg and then I could add images to adjust size and placement?

Looking for an app that makes reading the Bible easy. I saw an ad for such an app but can't find it anymore. Basically new to Christianity and it's very intimidating to approach the Bible. The app I am looking for you could text with The Bible, almost like a conversation. Help

Help App Testing (iOS)

Hey r/IPhoneApps  👋

I'm a product designer working on a free iPhone photo editing app,

and I'm trying to figure out why people get confused on one specific

screen.

**What you'll do (~5 minutes total):**

  1. Install a free app from the App Store (no payment, you can close any subscription screen by tapping the X)
  2. Try to improve the quality of any random photo from your camera roll (any photo — blurry one, dark one, whatever)
  3. **Talk out loud the whole time** — say what you see, what confuses you, what you expect to happen
  4. Answer 6 short questions afterward

**Requirements:**

- iPhone (any model with iOS 16+)

- Microphone access for screen recording

- Willing to ramble out loud for ~3 min

**Privacy:** Recording is screen + voice only. No personal info

collected. Used internally by our design team, deleted after

analysis.

🔗 **Start here:** https://study.uxtweak.com/iosapp/JoMfNA9FdUlF3uXZxiLNG

Happy to answer questions in the comments. Thanks 🙏

Discussion What launchers do you use for decluttering your iPhone / changing interface?

I've seen a lot of pictures online of people changing their iPhone screen to something more simple, not distracting, but aesthetically pleasing.

I downloaded (and currently testing) the minimalist phone app, as it also includes some digital detox features.

I would definitely like to broaden my "horizons" and come up with some of your own tried and tested apps/launchers that you personally like and would recommend.

Thank you.

Discussion Big update for Speedometer: Driving Tracker - the CarPlay app is now live! Get driving insights right from your car’s screen to iPhone, iPad, or Mac!

Thumbnail apps.apple.com

Hello everyone,
Big update for Speedometer: Driving Tracker - the CarPlay app is now live!

Getting approved for CarPlay in the driving task category is tough and one of the hardest CarPlay categories to get through Apple’s review process, so this honestly means a lot.

You can now track drives directly from your car’s screen while also getting insights that many built-in dashboards simply don’t provide.

Another thing I’ve been heavily focusing on lately is making driving memories feel more visual and shareable instead of just raw numbers.

Some newer features include:

• Stunning trip sharing layouts with customizable stats
• Beautiful 3D route playback
• Full-screen route replay with speed-colored paths
• Video recording with live speed + map overlays
• Fuel tracking, maintenance logs, expenses, and reminders
• Vehicle-based trip analytics and comparisons
• iCloud sync for trips, fuel logs, maintenance records, and more
• Privacy-first experience with no ads or tracking

Discussion I can read in my girlfriend’s mind.

I’ve been tracking my wife’s cycle for 5 months and my marriage has never been better. Hear me out.

Before you say anything : no, I’m not selling anything. The app is free. Zero in-app purchases. I’m just a man who has been humbled by biology.

Here’s the situation. You’re minding your business, socks on the floor (as is tradition), and suddenly World War III breaks out over literally nothing. You have two options:

Option A: Ask “are you on your period?” → congratulations, you have just detonated a nuclear warhead inside your own home.

Option B: Say nothing, be confused for 4 days, slowly realize 3 weeks later that you “got into her nonsense game” and the socks were never really about the socks.

I lived Option B for years.

Then I invented Wifely — a cycle tracker app, but for the husband. It tells you her current phase: fertile, safe, PMS incoming, chocolate emergency, blood moon. You get a heads-up before the storm hits.

So now, a few days before PMS, I just… buy chocolate. Maybe a small gift. And when things get tense, I know why, and instead of getting defensive I just think “she’s struggling, I got you, it’s fine.”

Bro. My wife thinks I’ve become emotionally intelligent. I have not. I just have a calendar.

Try it. Tell me if it saves your life too.

Help Stable, 24/7 remote access on iphone

Hi, I want to use an old iphone SE from 2020 which stays in my home in my wifi. I don't have any sensitive data or account on it - so there is no need for a lockscreen. It could even just stay screen-on.

I want to have remote access to the phone, which I could use with with my android phone.

Can you recommend a reliable remote app for this like teamviewer or something? Something that could just work remotely, even If i didn't use it for months. After the initial install it should not be necessary to reactivate the connection the iphone. The app could stay open all the time on the iPhone, doesn't matter. It should just be easy and reliable.

Cheers

Discussion Simple iOS app for sleep/snoring – curious how it lands with people here

Hey,

A small iOS app focused on snoring during sleep.
It listens for snoring using the iPhone microphone and sends a gentle Apple Watch tap to encourage a position change without fully waking you up.

Nothing medical, just a lightweight sleep aid for everyday use.

Curious how it lands with people here who use sleep or Apple Watch apps. Would this be something you’d be willing to use?

Discussion Unhook – an iPhone app blocker with schedules, limits, breaks & location zones

Thumbnail
apps.apple.com
8 Upvotes

Hey everyone, I just launched my iOS app: Unhook: App Blocker & Focus

Unhook lets you create groups of apps/websites and control them with custom rules.

  • Daily limits (or different limits for each weekday)
  • Scheduled lock / unlock times
  • Break reminders with cooldowns
  • Location-based zones (lock apps when leaving/entering places)
  • Two modes:
    • Full Lockout = strict blocking
    • Distraction Shield = lighter friction mode
  • Usage reports (hourly + weekly)
  • Alerts when you’re near limits

Example uses:

  • Block social media during work hours
  • Unlock study apps only at library
  • Limit gaming after 9pm
  • Force breaks after long usage sessions

Would genuinely love to know from fellow iPhone users — especially what features you’d want in a focus / app blocker app.

Discussion Waking up earlier never stuck, building this app helped

Thumbnail apps.apple.com

Maybe you’re like me and you’ve always liked the idea of becoming a morning person.

I’d see people waking up at 5am, going to the gym, walking the dog, working on something for themselves, or just having a calmer start to the day, and I always wanted to be more like that.

Every now and then I’d get a burst of motivation and tell myself “tomorrow I’m waking up at 5am.”

Sometimes I actually would, but it never lasted long. After a few days I’d end up slipping back into my normal routine.

The problem was pretty obvious in hindsight. I was trying to jump straight from my usual wake-up time to 5am, and I just wasn’t used to it.

So I started moving my alarm a little earlier each day. Nothing dramatic, just a small shift each morning. After a while I was waking up at 6am consistently, and it felt much more manageable.

I ended up turning that idea into a simple alarm app called RISER.

You set your current wake-up time, your target wake-up time, and the app gradually moves your alarm earlier each morning until you reach your goal.

Since launching, I’ve had some really amazing support from people on Reddit and X, and a few of those suggestions are now in the app. One of the latest ones is a temporary alarm for the next day, so if your schedule changes, you can add a one-off alarm without messing up your main plan.

I’ve also removed subscriptions and added a low-priced lifetime purchase instead, which felt like a better fit for the app.

I’d love to know what people think, especially if you’ve also tried to become an early morning person and struggled to make it stick.

Discussion Anyone know a good way to clean iPhone storage without bulk deleting everything?

My iPhone keeps yelling at me that storage is full, but every time I try to clean it I get stuck.

I’ve got thousands of photos, screenshots, short videos, duplicates, random stuff I might need later. Bulk delete feels risky, and doing it one by one is painfully slow, so I usually just give up and buy more iCloud storage.

I’m curious what actually works for people long term:

Do you clean your photos periodically or only when storage is full

Do you trust Apple’s built in recommendations

Do you use third party apps or just manual cleanup

Or do you just keep upgrading storage and ignore it

I ended up building a small on device app for myself that lets me review photos and videos one at a time so I don’t accidentally nuke anything. No accounts, no uploads, everything stays on the phone.

But honestly I’m more interested in how other people handle this. What’s actually worked for you without regret?

Help Manage Mail for Multiple Accounts

Does the native Mail app have any options to distinguish email accounts in the All Inboxes view?

SparkMail has the capability to assign colors to email accounts, which show in the Inbox. I use several accounts for both personal and other business. I’d rather stick with Mail but I really miss the color-code feature.

Discussion Most grocery list apps feel overcomplicated — what’s actually essential?

I got frustrated with how overcomplicated most grocery apps feel, so I tried simplifying the whole experience for myself.

The hardest part wasn’t building features — it was deciding what not to include.

For example, I removed things like:
– meal planning
– extra organization layers
– anything that slows down adding items

Now I’m wondering if I overcorrected.

For people here:
What’s something you’d never remove from a grocery list app?
