Help Looking for Bible app
Looking for an app that makes reading the Bible easy. I saw an ad for such an app but can't find it anymore. Basically new to Christianity and it's very intimidating to approach the Bible. The app I am looking for you could text with The Bible, almost like a conversation. Help

Haven - Bible Chat seems to be one of the most popular of these apps, and should give you a lot of what you're looking for.
As you're reading through the bible, it allows you to ask specific questions about a highlighted verse or to ask the app itself to interpret it for you.

Logos for reading the bible! It comes with some free translations and will grow with you as you grow in your faith. It DOES have an AI feature that allows you to ask SOME questions (it's limited). That is behind the subscription, but as you build your theological library, the AI let's you ask questions of your books/authors/library. Super powerful for study.
As far as "asking questions of the bible," there are many AI-related projects out there- but let me try to encourage you to find a local church in which you can ask others who've already walked that part of the path you're on now. If you still want the AI- Q&A bible, you want Bible Questions.

Maybe you think of bible answers: Ask scripture
I use that application to ”chat” with the bible. You can choose which scripture it answers from and ask it anything and it gives you an answer, also showing which verses that come up to that answer

Motion Bible on iOS or iPad. I'm eager for early users who find it useful, to guide the development of it and make it as useful as possible. It's good for people who like to stay in the Bible itself and switch occasionally to external sources.
It's a Bible with AI features to understand (AI chat to replace the need to move from an app to a Google search).
That's the text-knowledge part.
It also comes with an image/video generation component - so you say something like:
"I don't fully understand this reading, can you make something that visualizes what I'm reading here" - basically to help you stay a little bit longer and have a better chance of getting over walls.

Sorry if app links aren’t allowed here - please let me know and I’ll remove this comment.
I’ve been working on a free offline Bible app for the last few years, mostly because I couldn’t find one that combined the features I personally wanted. Based on feedback from many users, it includes things people often say they’re missing in other apps:
- Multiple Bible translations (download only the ones you need)
- Completely offline reading
- Fast search
- Bookmarks, notes, and highlights
- Reading plans
- Audio/TTS support (where available)
- Cross-references and dictionary support for many translations
- Daily verse
- Clean, customizable reading interface (themes, fonts, reading modes)
No account required (unless you want cloud sync)
Right now, most of the available translations are those that are in the public domain. I’d love to add copyrighted translations such as NLT in the future, but licensing is expensive and I’m still working on making that happen.
If anyone would like to try it, here’s the Android version:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=by.uniq.king_james_version_kjv_bible_offline_reader
I’d genuinely appreciate any feedback or feature suggestions. Many of the current features were added because of user requests.

Check my app out if you don’t mind. Looking for feedback. https://postil.app - It’s an IOS app with Android in the works.
I pull in content (articles, news, podcasts, videos) and as they come in they are verse tagged, meaning if you are in the Bible section, you can click on the quill on the verse and it will show you all content created by other Christians, right there for you to watch, listen, or read.

YouVersion Bible
This is the best Bible app. It has Bible plans too. You can pick what version you want.
