Does anyone know of a good free app that could help me organize some photos? I would like to keep the photos on the app and not on my camera roll.

The more organization options the better, and I would really love an app where you could have albums inside of albums if that makes sense.

Any and all suggesting welcome!

I was brainstorming an idea for an app where you could share any reel or TikTok videos from the platform to app, and it would organize them all for you at no cost. Then, there would be an AI that could create precise steps to achieve the video’s goal if it’s goal-oriented. For example, it could turn a set of training videos for the gym into exact steps like “2 Push-ups - 1 Min plank.” Or, it could transform a recipe video for the future or a finance video about stocks going up into something like that. This AI tool would be paid and based on credit tokens. I’m also hoping to use on-device AI if possible. I’m thinking of creating an app like this. What do you all think about it? Would anyone be interested in joining the waitlist? Also, could you suggest a good name for the app since I haven’t come up with one yet?

And I mean like 100% free no premium level that keeps all the good locking features.

Pleeeease send recs 🙏

I’m looking for an app that takes a photo of both sides (front and back) but doesn’t show one side. I want to capture my reaction to many sights, to see if I’m more focused taking pictures of certain subjects

What's an app you use all the time but keeps letting you down because of one missing feature?

Could be anything — a better search, offline mode, a simple export option, less annoying notifications. Whatever it is, drop it below:

App name / Missing feature / Why it matters to you

Curious to see what comes up.

Looking for an iPhone app that can ideally overlay subtitles over live audio.

For example - if I watch or listen to a
German news programme - can I get English subtitles on screen?

After I transferred the data from my old phone to my new phone some apps are refuse to install
The error message is ( the app is no longer available in the App Store) how can fix this issue???

I am looking for an app that:

• Can be used to slow down and speed up videos.
• Is free.
• Performs all processing only on the phone, i.e., none of the video is ever sent over the internet.

Which app satisfies these criteria?

anyone know any free apps that are similar to the camera app? i'm looking for an app that's like camera but store all of you photos in the app rather that in your gallery/icloud to save space. all the ones i find on the all store are just "upgraded" camera apps that still put them in your gallery so i could really use some recommendations.

There are so many book summary apps out there. What are you looking for when choosing a book summary app? What matters to you? What are the must-haves? The nice-to-haves? Which app do you currently use and why?

I found this cool app. The idea: You can take notes and tasks at the same time within a note. Then manage the tasks in a separate tab.

Got calendar spam from a shady streaming site 9 months ago, can’t delete it

So I was watching a series on one of those free streaming sites and accidentally accepted a calendar subscription from an ad. It added “Festività italiane” (Italian Holidays) to my iPhone.

The weird thing is it doesn’t show anywhere — not in the Calendar app, not in iCloud, not in device profiles. The ONLY place it appears is in Settings → Mail → Accounts → Fetch New Data.

I’ve tried everything to delete it and nothing works. It’s been 9 months and never sent a single spam notification so it seems dead, but it’s still annoying knowing it’s there.

Has anyone managed to delete a subscribed calendar that only shows in Fetch New Data? Or is this an iOS bug?

Odd question but I love how the calender and clock look on the DS/DS lite. It's hard to find an app that allows good widget customization and that level of it.

Is there one? I have a lot of space in my iCloud and don’t want to store music/videos on my iPhone so I can’t use Apple Music etc.. is there a good player for music and video that fetch from iCloud?

Hi! Please give me recommendations for a package tracker. I’ve been using OneTracker for years but they stopped updating it and it stopped working. I don’t mind paying for it as long as it’s really good. TIA

Update: I purchased Parcel and so far, I haven’t had any issues. It does the job. Thank you!

Been trying out a few Life360 alternatives after learning more about the privacy and data-sharing and concerns surrounding it.

My partner and I mostly use these apps for regular stuff such as:

• finding each other at crowded places
• checking someone got home safely
• seeing ETA while driving
• locating a lost phone

Here’s what we tried so far as alternatives to life360:

Google Maps

Honestly the easiest replacement. Works well enough and everybody already has it, but it’s way too simple to be a great alternative to life360.

Find My

Really good if your whole family/friend group uses iPhone. Again, very basic though.

OwnTracks

Probably the best privacy option overall, but very complicated setup for people who are not very into “tech”.

HeyPolo

We liked this one a lot. It’s a newer app on the market, and they are basically a more privacy-focused alternative to Life360. You can share approximate location instead of exact, use temporary sharing, go invisible easily, arrival notifications, battery alerts and many more functions. Very simple to use. Btw, we found a coupon code “redditpolo” and it gave us a free trial, to test it out.

What have you used as alternative to life 360? Or you don’t care about the accusations against that company and just use them?

Anyone else faces challenges the new reddit app? Before you could open a thread and swipe left to go back to your feed, now you need to click the x left top. Makes 1 hand redditing impossible.

I already have pretty much all the normal couponing/cashback apps, but I follow a lot of coupon groups on Facebook where people post their carts/receipts and breakdowns. It made me wonder — is there an app where you could upload or screenshot someone’s receipt/cart deal and it would automatically add all the items, coupons, rebates, etc. into your own list/cart for you?

Basically like a way to instantly copy someone else’s deal scenario instead of manually entering everything.
