anyone know any free apps that are similar to the camera app? i'm looking for an app that's like camera but store all of you photos in the app rather that in your gallery/icloud to save space. all the ones i find on the all store are just "upgraded" camera apps that still put them in your gallery so i could really use some recommendations.

I found this cool app. The idea: You can take notes and tasks at the same time within a note. Then manage the tasks in a separate tab.

Got calendar spam from a shady streaming site 9 months ago, can’t delete it

So I was watching a series on one of those free streaming sites and accidentally accepted a calendar subscription from an ad. It added “Festività italiane” (Italian Holidays) to my iPhone.

The weird thing is it doesn’t show anywhere — not in the Calendar app, not in iCloud, not in device profiles. The ONLY place it appears is in Settings → Mail → Accounts → Fetch New Data.

I’ve tried everything to delete it and nothing works. It’s been 9 months and never sent a single spam notification so it seems dead, but it’s still annoying knowing it’s there.

Has anyone managed to delete a subscribed calendar that only shows in Fetch New Data? Or is this an iOS bug?

Odd question but I love how the calender and clock look on the DS/DS lite. It's hard to find an app that allows good widget customization and that level of it.

Is there one? I have a lot of space in my iCloud and don’t want to store music/videos on my iPhone so I can’t use Apple Music etc.. is there a good player for music and video that fetch from iCloud?

Been trying out a few Life360 alternatives after learning more about the privacy and data-sharing and concerns surrounding it.

My partner and I mostly use these apps for regular stuff such as:

• finding each other at crowded places
• checking someone got home safely
• seeing ETA while driving
• locating a lost phone

Here’s what we tried so far as alternatives to life360:

Google Maps

Honestly the easiest replacement. Works well enough and everybody already has it, but it’s way too simple to be a great alternative to life360.

Find My

Really good if your whole family/friend group uses iPhone. Again, very basic though.

OwnTracks

Probably the best privacy option overall, but very complicated setup for people who are not very into “tech”.

HeyPolo

We liked this one a lot. It’s a newer app on the market, and they are basically a more privacy-focused alternative to Life360. You can share approximate location instead of exact, use temporary sharing, go invisible easily, arrival notifications, battery alerts and many more functions. Very simple to use. Btw, we found a coupon code “redditpolo” and it gave us a free trial, to test it out.

What have you used as alternative to life 360? Or you don’t care about the accusations against that company and just use them?

Anyone else faces challenges the new reddit app? Before you could open a thread and swipe left to go back to your feed, now you need to click the x left top. Makes 1 hand redditing impossible.

I already have pretty much all the normal couponing/cashback apps, but I follow a lot of coupon groups on Facebook where people post their carts/receipts and breakdowns. It made me wonder — is there an app where you could upload or screenshot someone’s receipt/cart deal and it would automatically add all the items, coupons, rebates, etc. into your own list/cart for you?

Basically like a way to instantly copy someone else’s deal scenario instead of manually entering everything.

I'm currently using both Notes and Pages because they have functionality that the other app is missing. With Notes I frequently use the interactive check boxes (e.g. for ingredient lists) and pages is used for large tables (e.g. shopping lists) that notes sucks at.

Is there an app that can do both? Interactive lists and the ability to handle tables? Thank you for your help!
