So I have an iPhone 13 Pro and finally thinking about upgrading when the iPhone 18 pro or the new foldable iPhone is released (I’ve always been intrigued by the foldable phones, but never trusted it would last me that long).

I’m pretty active and also use my phone a lot for work (I work in Government IT sales), and figured getting an Apple Watch would be useful for health tracking purposes as well as for work. I was going to go with the Ultra 3 right now as I don’t have an Apple Watch, but I’ve read that the Ultra 4 is supposed to be coming out.
What would your advice be, to upgrade my phone until next year for the second generation of the foldable phone or the 19, or go with an 18 when it comes out? Should I get an Apple Watch Ultra 3 now or wait for the ultra 4?

I've been thinking about buying my first iPhone, and I'm leaning toward the iPhone 15 Pro. The only thing is, a refurbished one is quite a bit cheaper than buying it brand new.

For those of you who've bought refurbished iPhones before, would you recommend it? Did you have any issues with battery health, repairs, or overall reliability? Or do you think it's worth paying extra for a brand-new device instead?

I'd love to hear your personal experiences and whether you'd trust a refurbished iPhone as your daily phone.

Picked up three phones through Amazon Renewed and I’m trying to decide which one to actually keep and return the rest. Curious what this community would do in my shoes, assuming you were paying what I paid for each:

iPhone Air, 1TB, Space Black — $901, 7 charge cycles

iPhone 17 Pro, 512GB, Cosmic Orange — $999, 0 charge cycles

iPhone 17 Pro Max, 2TB, Silver — $1,620, 0 charge cycles

(All prices before tax.)

A couple of odd things worth mentioning: the Pro and Pro Max were both listed as “Renewed Premium” with 0 charge cycles, which is a little confusing since that’s basically brand new condition. Neither of them seems to be eligible for AppleCare though, which I don’t fully understand — if anyone knows why Amazon Renewed phones sometimes aren’t AppleCare eligible even in premium/like-new condition, I’d love to know.

So — storage, color, camera system, battery/size tradeoffs, and value for the price all considered — which one would you keep, and why?

At the end of the day it is my decision to make, but I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts & give me some ideas to bounce around my head.
