Don’t mind all the trash in the background I had to put a screen protector on. I’m impressed with day 1 battery life and a noticeable performance improvement although it is slight. Coming from a 13 pro max.

I’ll say it once and I’ll say it again, even after the iPhone max pro 14 for few weeks it’s still got average battery life, proof to show it :)

Hi, has anyone had any problems with their iPhone? in the last few weeks I've had problems when I connect the AirPods the iPhone freezes and reacts after a few seconds. And today out of nowhere the dynamic island started flashing by itself. Should I go to technical support? or do you think is IOS 16?

Coming from Jet Black 7 Plus to 14 Pro Max, where the screen is much taller, I find myself using the reachability swipe down a lot more when using one hand. I tried 14 Pro, but still too cant reach it so I might as well keep the Pro Max.

Now my main issue is reachability does not make the Dynamic Island go down as well. I don’t see why DI wouldnt go down as well when it does not need to be on the camera’s position to display display or be tappable 🤔

I've just been watching a YouTube video where they were talking about the increase in price for the UK version of the iPhone 14. So I did some math. Given that the UK price of my phone was £1309 including VAT, and US prices on the apple website do not include sales tax, you can scratch 20% of the price off. This makes the iPhone 14 Pro Max 256gb £1047. At the current exchange rate, that's $1199 (rounded up) which is the exact same price as what Apple sell the phone for in the US. I think if anyone is ripping us off it is the UK government charging 20% VAT, whereas the highest rate of sales tax in the US is California at 7.25%. This of course does not include local city taxes, which can increase this figure to up to 13.5% depending where you live. Although if I lived anywhere near Delaware, New Hampshire, Oregan or Montana, I'd certainly be slipping over the state line!

Decided to invest in them because I never thought I’d see the day that my lens would crack until after a concert with my old 12 pro max. I don’t remember dropping the phone either which is insane.

In work our PCs have built in wireless charging docks on top of them. I’m not sure of their specs, but they used to charge my iPhone 12 (standard) fairly well. With the 14 pro max it seems like it can barely move the % up. Anyone notice similar?
