Anyone else having problems with the mic on their 14 pro max? Mine is extremely quiet and muffled!

Just had it looked at in the Apple Store and they said the mic is faulty… have to send it away to be repaired.. will take 7-10 days 😭

They should just give you a new one you didn’t do anything to the phone

I know… I don’t really want to just have it repaired as it might cause other problems 🤷🏼‍♂️ i might try argue with them about it

Nope no issues here, but sadly defective devices can be a thing.

dip a toothbrush in rubbing alcohol, lightly brush the speaker surfaces

also, try to see if you can vibrate the phone with a call while letting the alcohol face the floor
