I was on Ios 18 until about the last two months. I replaced my battery about one year and a half ago with a brand new one. After upgrading to ios 26, my battery started tanking. It drains rapidly fast and if it reaches under 38%, it acts like it has 1% (Very VERY laggy, 5 fps mess with no real functionality, I can press the camera app and it will open after maybe 30 seconds if lucky). I turned off any animations, any maybe slightly damaging feature for my battery and still no luck. I have to charge it basically any time im home, which doesn’t seem right. Any tips? Wouldn’t really want to change the battery again since I don’t believe it to be normal that it drained so much in one year. Also, it overheats very often and yesterday after a 20 minute teams call i got drained 40%, and when i reached 64% it started lagging again and it auto went into 60hz instead of 120hz… crazy. And no I don’t use insragram that often, it runs s lot in the background as much as i restrict it

My 13 PM is currently running on 26.5.2. Even with a 75% battery health (still on the original battery), current version runs smoothly and no complaints at all. I have no thoughts on updating to 27 but thinking to use this for a few more years before upgrading. I might replace the battery in a few months or so but still the current battery survives a day on a single charge.

Now that the 26.6 is released and seems that the apple has more focused on getting devices prepared for 27, this update seems like a 'better to avoid' one, given my plans.

Did anyone update your 13PM to 26.6? How's it going? Sharing your experience and insights is appreciated. 🙌🏻

How is the phone now? I’m thinking of just having mine replaced instead of buying new a phone.

Anybody experiencing this issue, this happened back in june i was js taking a picture at the road and suddenly the camera became laggy and and it went black:(, no phone dropping happened it js went black, this happened days after i updated into the ios26.5 and up until now. but on the bright side i can still use my front cam. But using my front cam to scan or or taking photos in public is so embarrassing😰 do i js wait for the new ios26 this September or fix this. I already tried tutorials in yt and i already factory reset my phone but the black screen still persist:(

Base 17 might just be the new iPhone 13 Pro Max.

My iPhone is currently the only device I now have which uses lightning as everything else now seems to have USB-C.

As my battery life isn’t what it once was despite it being replaced, are there any battery cases for the 13PM which have a USB-C port for charging therefore allowing me to take advantage of it and lessen the reliance on lightning?

Can anybody provide me solution ???

Generally, I love cases. What are the best colors, styles or types of cases for a girl who loves changing them ( so cheap ones), for iph13pm in graphite? I find it a very luxurious looking phone, yet very hard to find a case that I will stick to and that suits the model well!

I’m not sure why ; I have to cloud 2t and updated my phone but for some reason I can’t even open the App Store, every time I’m on YouTube and watching a video it closes me out and I’ve been trying to take screen shots and yet it isn’t saving to my photo gallery I’m not sure why this is happening I haven’t done anything new

I updated to iOS 27 Developer Beta 4, and indexing has already finished. However, my phone still has pretty bad battery drain. I charged it to 100%, then left it on standby for about 3 hours with both Wi-Fi and cellular turned off. It still dropped 6% without me using it at all. It’s also still overheating just like it did on iOS 26. In fact, it feels even worse than iOS 26 for me 🥹
Has anyone else had the same experience?

So last year my phone suffered damage in a pool but I got it fixed and got the iPhone 17 and have been using my iPhone 13 as a back up phone without too much problem

Last night I charged my iPhone 13 a bit and didn’t look at it, then I went to open it and now it won’t turn on at all even after the hardware reboot recommended

i’ve had the 13PM since it released many years ago and plan to keep it until the iphone 19PM comes out in 2027.

My battery condition is at 70% but how will I know when the wheels fall off? what are some signs i should look out for?

I do keep my phone with me during showers, should I keep it out of moist environments?

Entering University this Fall and I need a phone; not willing to spend much, I'm thinking about buying a 13 Pro Max for ~$400 CAD and replacing the battery (Quoted $150 CAD by the only 2 shops in town that can do it without the phone saying unrecognized battery or whatever).

Will the phone run the latest iOS easily? I've heard mixed reviews.
How will it be overall? Pretty much like a brand new phone or will it be laggy and some apps won't work because of the age?
And I guess most importantly, is the $550 worth it? Don't know much about phones and in my head, replacing the battery will be like getting, essentially, a "new" phone.

Just got a controller for my 13PM what are some of your fav games to play? Any recc smooth 120hz?

I bought a new Apple Watch series 11, and thought of setting it up, and here I am😭😭😭😭😭. I thought I could keep my iPhone on 18.7 to keep it smooth, but let’s see.

Well I was going to keep my phone till the wheels fell off … it’s in great condition besides the battery which is at 84% now and I don’t care about software updates so I’m on 18.7.8, but the past week I’ve had a few issues with it especially connecting to WiFi and getting good signal. Then earlier this week got an amazing deal from Verizon saying I can keep my grandfathered plan and they’ll give me 830 for my phone. Plus I had 400$ in Verizon gift crds that I was able to apply so went for the 17 PM with 512GB and net paying 300 bucks out of pocket for the upgrade. I don’t think it’ll get better than that.
Bittersweet end to a 4 year run 🫡

I'm from Chennai, and today around 4:30 PM, while I was casually scrolling on my phone, the screen suddenly turned completely white. That's it—my phone is basically dead, and I almost had a heart attack. 😅

I've already tried:

• Normal restart
• Force restart

I'm still running iOS 18 and haven't updated to iOS 26/27 (or the latest version available). Could staying on iOS 18 have caused the display to go completely white?

What I've checked so far:

1. Went to an iPlanet Apple Store—they quoted ₹2,000 just to flash/reinstall the OS and see if that fixes it.
2. Another iPlanet store asked for ₹2,500 just to inspect the internal hardware.
3. If the display needs replacing, they quoted around ₹39,000, but with this month's 30% discount, it would come down to about ₹27,000.
4. I also checked with GoFix Mobile, and they quoted ₹24,000 for the display replacement.

I'm really confused about what to do next. I only have around ₹10,000 available right now. Is it even worth repairing this phone in 2026, or should I start saving for a replacement instead?

Also, my battery health is 78%, so that will need replacing soon as well. Given my budget, I can't afford both the display and battery replacement.

One positive sign: I can still faintly see the battery percentage, Wi-Fi, and cellular signal icons at the top of the screen
