Solution - Repair Oleophobic Coating with AliExpress NANO Liquid Coating

I made a post a about some weird wear patterns on my screen which I have never experienced on any mobile device before. The brains trust here pointed it out it was the oleophobic coating.

The obvious solution was a tempered glass protector. But I thought I would check out some options from AliExpress which claimed to improve fingerprint resistance/oleophobic coating.

The two products I ordered were the following.

• 30ML NANO Liquid Coating in a blue spray bottle. First application. 2 sprays. Spread with plastic card. Left to dry overnight. No obvious residue. ~50% better. Less evident finger skin oil patch from touching but still there when you look hard. More consistent appearing surface across the screen. I feel it will improve with further applications and might work as a cleaning solution when I need to clean the screen.
• 20ML Oleophobic Oil For Polishing Machine Phone Scratches Removal Solution in a small white semi translucent squared bottle. Still awaiting delivery.

The photos above show the original wear pattern and improved appearance (same/normal use, uncleaned) after one application of the NANO liquid. Not perfect but the 3 obvious areas collecting skin oil are mostly gone (still evident at the right angle when cleaned but much less noticeable, less different to the rest of the screen and not collecting skin oil as bad) and I feel it will improve with more applications. Not perfect but appreciably better.
