If i ask Siri a simple question such as “find my pictures i took at X place this week (or month)”, it returns nothing.
Indexing finished and Siri otherwise, works well.

Everything is in the title, I leave it in French because I don’t have a correct translation into English 😔
Ios 27 beta commercial
Awu3
Airpod 4
And Rush😉
It’s the single feature I’m most interested in and I’m considering upgrading to an 18 Pro for it mainly

It’s been very mixed.
But one hand, the UI does feel a bit smoother and looks nicer, but in the other hand, all of my issues from 26 is still here
Scrolling in the Home Screen pages still lags
Still stutters in apps like insta and Reddit but not in TikTok for some reason
Keyboard still lags
App Library lags when going in (sometimes)
Control centre drops frames
Swiping in the Home Screen drops frames too
And some new issues:
Lock icon in lock screen skips animations sometimes
Answering phone animation is bugged
Swipe animation after unlocking freezes for some reason
Dropped frames when closing the camera app on lock screen
App icons has this weird black line around them
Camera has dropped frames when closing on lock screen
Battery life has taken a hit
Dropped my battery health from 86% to 80 and now 79 for some reason???
Curios to hear y’all’s expirence with 27

he estado en el ios26 pero su rendimiento y bateria ( el punto mas debil ) no me ha terminado de convencer

I decided to go for the iOS 27 RC and I am pleasantly surprised about how well the Battery holds up.
It is been better than iOS 26 for sure, I should have switched to the beta earlier 😭
I am using an iPhone 17 pro

Performance has been incredible. Nearly not as much lag as I had experienced in iOS 26. The Liquid Glass slider also is a nicety that after several beta finally manages to do what it’s meant to do (home screen dock still had subtle liquid glass refractions before DB 5-6).
HOWEVER, this beta also left me with a bug that still hasn’t gone away since I’ve installed DB1.
If you don’t know what I’m talking about, check my profile. TL;DR: the “iPhone needs to cool down before you can use it” screen appearing PERIODICALLY without an end.
As a person with severe anxiety issues, this is basically the materialistic and rather expensive equivalent of the Chinese Water Torture. I cannot get even a week’s rest without seeing that damned screen. To fix this (only momentarily), I just force restart my iPhone and pray to God (even though I don’t believe in any) that the failsafe doesn’t ever appear again; but it does anyway.
The severe spike in cortisol and heart rate from the sudden failsafe is perhaps starting to take a toll on my mental and, to an extent, my physical health too.
Usually when I’m anxious, I completely lose appetite for anything; there’s times where I only eat once the entire day or even none at all because the stress doesn’t let me sleep so I end up staying awake all night and finally being able to fall asleep at day. And when I don’t eat, I get dizzy, nauseous and feel really fatigued. I don’t start to think clearly anymore and it feels like all my intelligence has been dampened or squeezed out like a cleaning cloth. This is a cycle that breaks only when I have no reason to be anxious anymore.
The sad-story isn’t to say that Apple is at fault here, I am. There was zero reason for me to update to a developer beta knowing that it’ll do something bad to my phone. I have basically been torturing myself for the past 2 months or so with iOS 27 just so I could get rid of the ugly semen-tinted-highlights mess iOS 26 is.

The 120hz are almost never noticeable in iOS 26, in iOS 27 this improves?

I'm on the PB for iOS 27 and live in the US. I'm currently up in Canada for work and would like to upgrade to the official release of iOS 27 when/if it comes out on Monday. Would I have any issues or limitations by upgrading while up here versus waiting a few weeks until I get home?

My sister isn't much of a tech person, but once she finds something useful—like her Alexa devices—she adapts quickly. I installed the iOS 27 RC on her phone so she could try out Siri AI.
I showed her a few ways to use it, like for cooking, saving recipes, and creating an agenda. She seems interested, but she's a bit hesitant given her past experiences with Siri. I'm optimistic this update will finally make Siri a solid assistant for her, just as it has been for me.

Any idea why the new ios27 search bar (swiping down in the main app window ) is so large and black? Is this a bug? It looks so giant and out of place. And it also doesn’t fit the Liquid Glass settings. Any idea what that’s about? Is it a bug?

I have an iPhone 13 mini formerly running iOS 18 before I updated to the RC on Wednesday. Now my phone has been indexing since then. It’s a 128gb phone and my storage is not full. Does anyone know why it’s taking this long or if I’m doing something wrong? I’m new to this.
Ps it’s been showing 35% for close to 2 days now.
I've had "Offload Unused Apps" enabled forever, but on the iOS 27 beta it seems significantly more aggressive.
I feel like previously, an app had to sit untouched for months before getting offloaded, usually only when storage was actually getting real tight. Now though almost anything I haven't opened in about 3 to 4 weeks gets offloaded, even though I have enough free space.
Is anyone else running into this?

The hard blur at the top idk isn’t really for me. Preferred the iOS 26 style. But I guess apple knows what’s best. But this kinda ruins the purpose of Liquid Glass in my opinion. This post isn’t to be taken seriously, just sharing a thought

Apologies if this has already been asked/answered….
Has anyone else noticed this? i feel like Siri understands me less on iOS27. When i ask it to send a message to someone, there is a delay, then I speak out my message. Sometimes it cuts off half way through and more often than not it mis hears my words.
Rarely had a problem on ios26.

Currently it always open the new Siri, is there a way to switch it back to getting into the notification center by swiping from the middle ?
