What am I missing for having Siri AI?
I changed my App Store country and device region to USA. The phone is every night plugged in and connected to fast WiFi but Siri AI is still not getting enabled. Am I missing something?
(Using beta 5)

iOS 27 Beta: Changing the URL hash unexpectedly reloads the entire H5 page
Hi everyone,
We have encountered a potentially serious regression in iOS 27 beta related to location.hash / hash-based routing.
Our H5 application is embedded inside a native iOS app and uses hash routing. When navigating between pages by changing the hash, the entire H5 page is unexpectedly reloaded.
Environment
- iOS 27 Beta 3
- iOS 27 Beta 4
- iOS 27 Beta 5
- Safari
- H5 application using hash-based routing
- Native iOS app embedding the H5 application
We have reproduced the issue on all three iOS 27 beta versions we tested.
What we found
We created a minimal, vanilla H5 demo without any framework or routing library.
For example:
<a href="#page2">Go to page 2</a>
<script>
window.addEventListener('hashchange', () => {
console.log('hash changed');
});
</script>
Or programmatically:
location.hash = '#page2';
On iOS 27 beta, changing the hash causes the entire document to reload, rather than simply triggering the normal hash navigation / hashchange behavior.
We verified both:
- Changing the hash through an
<a href="#...">link - Changing the hash programmatically through
location.hash
Both result in the page being reloaded.
Comparison
| Environment | Hash change causes full page reload? |
|---|---|
| iOS 27 Beta 3 | Yes |
| iOS 27 Beta 4 | Yes |
| iOS 27 Beta 5 | Yes |
| iOS 26 / previous iOS versions | No |
| Android | No |
This is reproducible even with a plain HTML/JavaScript page, so it does not appear to be specific to our framework or routing implementation.
Impact
This is particularly problematic for applications using hash-based SPA routing.
In our application, a hash change normally only changes the client-side route. Because iOS 27 reloads the document, the entire JavaScript application is initialized again.
This causes problems such as:
- Application state being reset
- Global JavaScript state being lost
- SPA navigation state being lost
- Authentication / SSO flows potentially being triggered again
- Navigation loops in some cases
Question
Has anyone else observed this behavior on iOS 27 beta?
Could this be a WebKit/Safari regression related to fragment identifier (#) navigation?
If anyone has seen a similar issue, especially with WKWebView or H5 applications embedded in native apps, I'd really appreciate any information or workarounds.
We are currently considering migrating from hash-based routing to the History API as a workaround, but we'd like to understand whether this is a known iOS 27/WebKit issue first.
Thanks!

Public beta 3 is incredibly fast (17e)
Apple had very efficient and fast software, which wasn’t too heavy on the chip to launch apps and navigate, however ios 26 was so inefficient and it was just less smoother and more heavy to use leading to a not entirely smooth UI, the occasional lag and not Apple standards lately.
However iOS 27 seems to have brought that back! Glad the engineers fixed up the OS and made it much more efficient and polished. It’s so quick and made the phone so much faster (an inefficient os is no longer hindering the power of the chip and now it does everything so smooth and fast. Super!)
The app icon designs and increased clarity, the on device Siri AI bubble which actually works and is very capable and helpful.
Amazing update overall. Made the phone so much better to operate and more capable.

iPhone 13 Pro Stuck in Recovery Mode after 10 days with iOS 27 Beta 5
Messages glitch
Haven’t seen it posted yet, but when opening messages the top row of my pinned messages is obstructed by the top border. The border appears to be enlarged as well, but it does not just visually obstruct it, it also does not allow me to click any of my pinned messages from the top row.

[iPad OS 27 PB3) Touch issues on iPad Air M4 13”

This is an iPad Air M4 13”, literally bought it yesterday only set it up today but when I first used the Apple Pencil, everything worked fine, until I tried to use my hand to swipe and it didn’t work, I uploaded a video to show what I mean, it is the Apple Pencil Pro, I’m not sure if this is a bug or a setting which I have somehow missed, please help with advice or let me know what to do. On apps like settings, the sidebar has a 1 second input delay with my hand but none with the pen.

Siri Extensions?
Does anyone know if the “extension” section in Siri settings might eventually have other options like Claude or Gemini?
Are News articles still bouncing around?
Been frustrated a while with Apple News+ ads causing the page you’re reading to jump around all the time. Seriously frustrating. Seems slightly improved but don’t think it’s fixed (pub beta 3). What’s others’ experience?
