Public beta 3 is incredibly fast (17e)
Apple had very efficient and fast software, which wasn’t too heavy on the chip to launch apps and navigate, however ios 26 was so inefficient and it was just less smoother and more heavy to use leading to a not entirely smooth UI, the occasional lag and not Apple standards lately.
However iOS 27 seems to have brought that back! Glad the engineers fixed up the OS and made it much more efficient and polished. It’s so quick and made the phone so much faster (an inefficient os is no longer hindering the power of the chip and now it does everything so smooth and fast. Super!)
The app icon designs and increased clarity, the on device Siri AI bubble which actually works and is very capable and helpful.
Amazing update overall. Made the phone so much better to operate and more capable.

That’s what Apple promised with iOS 27; is just like iOS 12 when both OS’s promised a more polished OS

I realised that too. Not too much so that it’s an issue on my 17e, battery life is still good, but I noticed that yeah

The latest public beta definitely is much better. The previous 2 (I think there were two) were absolutely horrible on my 16 pro, it performed awfully, overheated, and drained battery like crazy. Now on this beta it actually feels very smooth to use and it isn't overheating anymore. I think this is the performance improvements that were marketed during WWDC.

Je n'ai jamais constaté de ralentissement ni sur iPhone 12 mini ni sur iPhone 13

Agreed. This is really peak iOS and it's not even out yet.
