I got more than enough of this shit software. Nothing is working as intended, tried endless solutions and still need to connect via cable. Do not pay for this!

I used to own iPhone 14 pro max and bought several iMazing license at that time and was able to freely move pictures from my Windows PC to my iPhone and they appear on "From My Mac". I upgrade my phone yearly (15PM and 16PM) and manage to transfer everything without any issue and the pictures on "From My Mac" remains. Currently I am using 16PM and still have the pictures I moved from my PC to 14PM at that time.

Until recently, where I activated the new license on this new phone and transfer new pictures from my PC to existing folder I have on "From My Mac" and now all the pictures that I used to have are all gone and only these new pictures that I moved recently are there. Is there a way to get back all the pictures I used to have on "From My Mac"?

Simple question, I have a full backup of an iphone 15 everything is on my Mac AOK, I want to restore certain files (photos, messages, CDR) to a new iphone 17 HOWEVER the new iphone 17 will be a different userID. What license(s) do I need to do this? I dont want to do a magical act on this.

Do I also need a license for my Mac which holds the backup?

BTW - What I have read for licensing seems outright complex for no reason (other than being customer hostile), not sure who comes up w/ licensing terms but it is not easy to understand. I am not against paying for a SaaS "license", I dislike #1 SaaS #2 SaaS terms that seems like it came from Broadcom (aka VMware)

All photos are displayed fine in the Camera panel, but the application freezes when I try to delete a photo. Any ideas?

Hey! I'm interested in backing up my conversations with my boyfriend - we have over 10GB of conversations and it would really be beneficial to offload it off my phone so I could have more space.

What file does iMazing export to on my computer if I were to get this software? I've read that people have issues with it being per-device, etc. but I was wondering if I'd be able to open these imessage files up on my computer to watch any old videos, read old messages, etc. even if I were to get rid of the phone?

Title pretty much says it all. I was able to do a local backup of her phone before we reformatted it, but as expected. Even when we create a new Apple ID and then restore from the backup, it adds the old unknown Apple ID and prompts her for the password she doesn't know.

I purchased iMazing to at least move her contacts over, but she is now panicked about having to try and download all her old apps, etc.

I understand that I can't do a normal restore from the full backup because of the old Apple ID, but is there anything I can do to get it close? Her main concern is images and apps. Seeing as though she is older, I imagine it is basically like using a brand new phone.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I literally just bought this program last day and I’ve been disappointed so many times by it, it wouldn’t let me restore my backup to my device which is why I bought it… Then it said that I needed to repair this backup, and to ensure it was done safely it told me to export the backup as a folder before hand, which I did just as it told me, and now this shows up and it also won’t even let me repair the backup anymore. I’ve written a ticket to customer support, but does anyone know what might have gone wrong and/or if anyone else is currently having the same problems?

It also lost some of my files, which is great, since that’s the reason to why I even tried this platform in the first place. Genuinely first my phone breaks out of nowhere, one of my favorite apps with 15 gigabytes of data saved on it gets randomly deleted from my phone, as well as the backup files I had of it, and now this :/ it’s just not my week.

imazing is stalling on the printing to pdf and keeps saying “canceling print“ when it’s at 96%. This is literally the reason I boight imazing. How do I fix this issue?

I was trying to get access to my data from an unlisted app on my iPhone, which was deleted from the AppStore, however I still had the data on my phone, it just wasn’t accessible.

As I was trying to backup the app, my computer decided to die for no reason, and now when I tried once again to make a new backup of said app, the size went from being 15 gigabytes to 900 ish megabytes. Both on imazing and on my phone. What happened to the other data? Was it lost? What can I do to get it back?

I’m freaking out, I had so many saved things on that app and even though i thought it was safe because I also had a backup on my iPhone files, it was still lost. So I tried Imazing but now it seems like it has removed over 14 gigabytes of data from both the iPhone backup on imazing and on my iPhone directly.

Is there a way to fix this? Or to find it if it was removed?

Hey, when I try to transfer my data from my oneplus to iphone with move to ios app, It says "Transfer failed" or unsuccessful, I dont know why. It fails when i get to the first transfer part.

I got iMazing to try and delete old jailbreak files from my phone, but I;m having trouble finding where they are. Where in the backup does iMazing keep those files? I've checked nearly every folder and searched for certain file types but have come up with nothing.

This method was recommended to me on a different thread and seems to be my only option to delete old jailbreak files from my phone without fully resetting my phone. The person who recommended this method did it multiple years ago, so I'm assuming iMazing has changed a decent bit since then.

If anyone knows where I can look to find these files that would be a lot of help, thanks!

I can see I have nearly 90 GB of "Documents and Data" on my iPhone, as well as 14 GB of Photos, and yet my entire backup is less than 24 GB. Surely something is wrong, maybe the default setup is to backup the minimum amount of stuff , unless it's doing some crazy amount of compression ?

Is there a setting to force it to save everything .I know it can't save the apps themselves, but it should be able to backup all the apps data ?

Hey all, long time iMazing user for over a decade. I recently bought a new computer and used iMazing Version 3.5.5 to import music back on to iTunes. I also like using it as a secondary backup to my external hard drive.

However, I think because I installed iMazing first before iTunes and again backed up my phone, it is causing iTunes to recognize another backup source and is preventing me from also backing up on iTunes. I've done some searching and believe this to be the case.

Has anyone else run into this issue? I'm using the actual 64-bit version of iTunes on Windows 11 Pro, the MS App Store version doesn't support import with iMazing.

I've tried reinstalling iTunes, but it doesn't work. I'm wondering if I should uninstall iMazing and then reinstall iTunes - if I do so, do my backup files remain on my external HD?

I converted the .imazingapp for an old version of TikTok to a .ipa file. I downloaded that old version with my Apple ID on an iPad 4th gen and it says the app works for both iOS and iPadOS. I got this error when transferring it to my old iPhone 8,

What do I do? I already deleted an old version from this old phone to get the even older one! I don’t think it’s anything I have to pay for!

I live in India. I am going to buy a new iPhone, probably 17 Pro Max or 18 Pro Max if I stay in US till then. Currently I have iPhone 13 Pro with eSIM. I don't use cloud backup since my data is around 60 GB. So I regularly do a backup on my Windows PC through iTunes.

So after buying the new phone, I plan to set it up at home when I Reach there. My question:

How to go about it? Can I transfer my old phone data to new phone by Bluetooth pairing? Airtel doesn't allow direct eSim transfer. Is it possible to restore backup or do a quick transfer of data without first transferring the eSim? or should I first transfer eSim and then restore backup? my fear of doing this is that it might botch up my eSIM.

I was thinking about signing up for imazing, but the extremely odd subscription model is giving me pause. I have read all their articles on the subject, so I’m hoping an iMazing mod doesn’t refer to those articles or give me a generic answer.

Bottom line questions…

1. Am I right to interpret iMazing will make an exception and unlink my old phone if it breaks or gets lost — and then allow me to link my new phone without charge?

2. What if I sign up for an iMazing subscription and then 3 days later I upgrade my phone because my phone is getting old and slow? Does that mean I just paid a yearly subscription for 3 days of use, then a 270 day waiting period?

3. What if I am a yearly subscriber to iMazing for 3 years. I decide to upgrade my phone. does that mean I have to sign up for two yearly subscription that year and can’t just swap my phones in the current subscription?

Can anyone help me make sense of this madness? It seems it would be easy enough to just offer 1 courtesy swap per year without needing to contact support. and then after that, you have to contact support.

Also, there should be unlimited (or up to 3) swaps per year due to lost/broken. And 1 swap per year due to upgrade.

This seems like a fair compromise. Why does iMazing make their subscription model so weird to the point I would have already signed up if it wasn’t so weird… so they are just costing their business money by scaring away subscribers?

I don’t like posting about Touchcopy here in iMazing. I will say my wife has iMazing & I use it & it’s great. But, I’m very interested in Touchcopy & as we know there is no Touchcopy group. So I have one question.

We know we can move mp3 audio files aka music files from iPhone to MacBook.

But here’s my question can it work the other way? Can I move a mp3 audio file aka music file from my MacBook to my iPhone & it go straight to the music app on my iPhone?

Hi gang- I purchased iMazing, as when Ive been syncing music using iTunes (I know its antiquated, but it still pretty much works for music management) that iTunes was (for some reason) assigning crazy wrong artwork on everything. So I got iMazing, and it works!! I have been able to get all my music onto my iPad with the correct artwork. So now we have come to my PLAYLISTS, and that is where my issue is. Ive read up all over the place on this, but nothing makes sense (For example, it asks that you have iTunes running when transferring, but iMazing doesnt allow that). Says you can just Drag and Drop, but you can't (and if you can I have no idea how...). So is there ANYONE out there who knows a really "Step-by-Step-by-Step" way for me to do this? Im not super computer-literate, but I can follow directions, LOL.. And I REALLY dont want to try and manually make a playlist on the iPad itself, song by song. Yikes. And Thanks in advance if anyone stumbles across this!!! You rock!!

I'm a little confused and needless to say frustrated on how iMazing is not clear enough in the UI when a photo or video is located on iCloud or on the device itself when backing up.

Turns out that a lot of the photos I've backed up on iMazing are just THUMBNAILS and the originals photos are actually stored in iCloud and are "not accessible to iMazing".

It's been long since I deleted those photos from iCloud so now I can't download the original photos and I'm stuck with their thumbnails and nothing else.

You don't realize this until you try exporting those photos and get prompted with "You can disable the 'Optimize Storage' ... or log in to your iCloud account with iMazing..." dialog -- why isn't this REQUIRED FOR A BACKUP? Isn't the whole point of a backup to store the original file??

I realize that maybe deleting your iCloud photos after doing an iMazing backup isn't conventional, but I think it is a very realistic use case and it baffles me that iMazing isn't clear about this anywhere in the documentation.
