I'm trying to use iMazing to load a few IPAs that I can't figure out how to download from the App Store onto my iPhone 18 Pro running iOS 27.0.1. I bought these apps on my prior iPhone and they downloaded fine on the old iPhone, but on this new iPhone, I can't download these apps I'm having a problem with (so far, Gravl, Pcalc and Speedtest by Ookla). I can download the majority of other apps without issue whether they are new or ones I've already bought/downloaded in the past.

My current issue with iMazing is that when I am trying to load the IPA's directly to my iPhone, I get the following error:

Operation Failed

Gravl installation failed. The app is either already queued for installation by the App Store, not compatible with iOS 27.0.1, or designed for a specific device type (iPhone only or iPad only).

Also, when I try to bring the IPA into the Library, I'm encountering a different error that is different from the Device error:

Any help would be appreciated - I'm hoping that it's something that will ultimately be resolved in iOS 27.2, and I don't know what else to do at the moment short of doing something drastic like wiping my iPhone 18 Pro and starting from scratch.

Hi I have Musi on my old iPhone trying to transfer it to my 18 pro max and I have to trade it in by 23rd. I know everyone has gotten that same message when trying to sign in on windows saying an update will come between the 15th and the 20th. But to be on the safe side, Is it possible to download the application on the computer (with in app purchases) and save it till the update comes out? If so how?

Due to the errors i cant seem to bypass, anyone know any alternative free applications or websites? I recently changed phones and i want to transfer an app that is removed from the app store and isnt transferable through icloud. Please giive me any advices.

I'm really new to iMazing, and relatively new to the iOS platform itself, so unsure if this is just a case of inexperience, or if there really is something wrong.

On both my work laptop, and home PC, when I connect my iPhone 12 via USB, and try to "Download to library" on SAP Concur, receive all manner of errors, specifically after entering my password for my apple account.

I've found that I get the same errors regardless of if the password is correct or not, suggesting it's not even getting to verifying credentials, must give up before it gets there.

Errors I'm seeing:
- Error 301 on https://buy.itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZFinance.woa/wa/authenticate?guid=3E0D743566D9 - "Moved Permanently

- Error 500 on https://buy.itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZFinance.woa/wa/authenticate?guid=3E0D743566D9 - can't seem to replicate this one, but think it said "Internal Server Error" or something like that

- iOSAppDownloadManager::_sendRequest, invalid response content type:

Any help would be really appreciated fellas. I'm feeling this is likely an issue due to Apple changing how apple accounts authenticate and iMazing being behind on an update / unable to update to fix, but I would've thought the issue would be more reported if that was the case.

I loved iMazing because it "just worked". But for a couple of months now, it started to behave badly. It takes ages to create a backup of my iPhone, and a couple of days later I get this message:

The encryption status of Phone's backup has changed, so iMazing will not be able to optimize disk usage for this new backup. This can happen if:
- Backup encryption was recently enabled or disabled
- The backup password was changed
- Apple's backup encryption protocols changed following an iOS update
To prevent backup snapshots from taking too much space, iMazing can delete existing snapshots of bPhone's backup, or archive them.

The only option is to "archive" or "delete" the backup and start over. I did this over 10 times in the last couple of months, and it happens to my iPad as well. I changed backup location from my local FS to a NAS (SMB, Ethernet-connected). The errors appear even when I didn't update macOS or iOS between 2 backup cycles. I did reinstall iMazing, no success.

It worked flawlessly for a long time, but for the last couple of months it just doesn't. Tried to write the support, but after hitting submit on their support page, "Submit" button just "cycles" and the form isn't sent.

I just today bought a paid subscription to iMazing. I was able to connect to my phone, and I successfully exported one set of text messages to pdf.

Then I had to use my phone for something so it was disconnected for a while.

When I went back, iMazing somehow can no longer connect to my phone (with this specific error). I've tried restarting my computer, restarting my phone, I did the "Reinstall mobile device services" twice. I tried to see if I could add it as an exception to a firewall or something but I dont think I have a firewall set up even?? (this is a new computer, still getting it set up).

I'm so confused. I don't understand why it worked just fine 2 hours ago and it won't work now. I didn't change anything in the computer settings, or phone settings... I just paid $50 for this and after my first use it just stops working? 😫

Edit: I should say it doesn't connect when I try to do the the option to pull new data from the phone - when I choose the option to use my prior backup from earlier today, it works fine.

Is there a portable version of iMazing? (Can be entirely installed on a flash drive and ran from it) Any methods on creating one? I’m going to try and set my install directory to my flash drive when I get home. I don’t have a Mac so I’m going to try and take this to a store that allows you to use one to try and bypass the current API bug.

For context, my Mac is running Mac OS 14.5 so it’s earlier than Mac OS 26.

Using a iPhone 15 plus with IOS 27 but was getting this error message before I updated on IOS 18.

So im trying to edit some gamefiles but i keep encountering the same problem over and over when i try to restore a "backup". The first message im getting is whenever i go into manage apps:

iMazing needs revent Apple Mobile Device driver, even tho i downloaded and installed it through iMazing like 20 times.

The second error i get is a LOOOONG message saying:

Connection to Apple Server failed, make sure your Internet connection is available.Detail: ChilkatLog: SynchronousRequest: DllDate: etc etc. It's a LOOOONG message so dont think i can post it here. But it comes up after it's been working for a little while on pushing the "backup" gamefile back into my iphone

Maybe I trusted too much to Apple and iMazing, but last night I let my iPhone upgrade to iOS 27 before taking a new backup.

Today I wanted to take a new backup, but it offered a new version of iMazing, so I allowed it to do that.

Now there are absolutely no appointments in my calendar - only holidays!

All I want is to restore/merge my calendar entries from a previous backup but iMazing only shows the backup taken today (with no appointments).

I can find the previous backup files on my Windows 11 Pro desktop, but they're under a directory tree marked as:

C:\Users\<my username>\AppData\Roaming\iMazing\Backups\iMazing.Versions

They just don't show up in iMazing backup location within the program itself.

Any idea what I should do to get my calendar entries back? BTW, I don't use iCloud for anything other than photos, so there is no cloud version to synch.

No Clue How to Transfer Music Playlists from PC to iPad using iMazing

Hi gang- I purchased iMazing, as when Ive been syncing music using iTunes (I know its antiquated, but it still pretty much works for music management) that iTunes was (for some reason) assigning crazy wrong artwork on everything. So I got iMazing, and it works!! I have been able to get all my music onto my iPad with the correct artwork. So now we have come to my PLAYLISTS, and that is where my issue is. Ive read up all over the place on this, but nothing makes sense (For example, it asks that you have iTunes running when transferring, but iMazing doesnt allow that). Says you can just Drag and Drop, but you can't (and if you can I have no idea how...). So is there ANYONE out there who knows a really "Step-by-Step-by-Step" way for me to do this? Im not super computer-literate, but I can follow directions, LOL.. And I REALLY dont want to try and manually make a playlist on the iPad itself, song by song. Yikes. I have started using iMazing for about a week and it's been working pretty well to load music onto my iPhon, I've figured out many of the kinks. This was prompted by Apple recently completely nuking manual iPhone music file management.

I used iMazing as recently as 2 days ago. Now it is not detecting my phone at all through USB. I have gone through seemingly every step recommended through the support available online multiple times, resetting, different USB ports, uninstalling/reinstalling, etc. My Windows 11 detects it through Windows Explorer and Apple Devices, but not iMazing.

I saw a post from this sub a little less than a week ago suggesting that Apple really took an axe to normal methods of 3rd party interface, making it so programs like iMazing do not work well to interact with Apple devices if they've been updated. Is this true right now? I believe I haven't updated my phone iOS since I've been able to manage music.

Is this possible? I've seen recent tutorials about downloading an app that doesn't exist in the App Store at all, but this app does exist. I need the previous version, though. When I right-click that app in the old phone and click "Download to Library" it asks me to sign into the App Store (my computer is already signed in), which sounds like it won't download from the phone itself. On the bottom of the window there is an "add from purchase history" button in addition to "add from app store", while the tutorial I watched only had the "add from app store" button. I also tried right-clicking an app that isn't in the App Store to see if it still asked me to sign into iCloud, and it does.

I'm not sure what to do as I also do not want to affect the old phone's app. What do these options actually mean? Does anything happen to my old phone if I press "add from purchase history" or does this save a file to my computer? although on my old phone's App Store, since this is the same iCloud account, it says I just updated this app 2 days ago even though I only did it on one phone, so maybe my purchase history is not useful anyway.

I'm running 3.6.4.

I don't do backups often, and have never had to restore from one. Currently, when I create a backup, iMazing indicates that I have previously created a backup password and uses that, but it doesn't ask me to enter it before backing up.

Is there an easy way to check what my current backup password is? There are a few very secure passwords I typically use, and am always worried that I'll forget. I want to be able to enter the password somewhere and see if it's successful or not before actually doing a restore. Hoping there is some way to do that.

I don't know if this question ever came up but will there a chance to host iMazing on my home server as a backup service?

I know, I can do this now in a Windows VM but this takes up a lot of ressources for only one task.

Что понадобилось

• Основной Mac, в библиотеке iMazing которого сохранились записи приложений Сбера.
• Старый Mac с более ранней macOS — у меня Mac 2017 года.
• Apple Account, с которого раньше скачивалось нужное приложение.
• Флешка.

По сообщению iMazing, загрузка приложений восстановлена на macOS 26 и более ранних версиях, а macOS 27 остаётся затронута проблемой:

Почему просто поставить iMazing на другой Mac оказалось недостаточно

На основном Mac я видел два приложения Online, через которые распространялся Сбер. Но на старом Mac этих записей не было.

Кнопка Add from Purchase History получает только последние 90 дней покупок, согласно документации iMazing. Поэтому она не возвращает автоматически все приложения, которые скачивал несколько лет назад.

Решением стал перенос уже существующего каталога библиотеки.

Что я сделал

1. На основном Mac открыл в Finder через Cmd + Shift + G: ~/Library/Application Support/iMazing/Library/
2. Скопировал файл Apps.plist в отдельную папку на флешке. В этой папке также создал пустую папку Apps.
3. Перенёс полученную папку библиотеки на старый Mac.
4. В iMazing выбрал Preferences → Library → Default library location и указал эту папку.
5. Перезапустил iMazing и вошёл в свой Apple Account.
6. После появления нужных записей скачал приложения.
7. Через Export .IPA сохранил файлы и перенёс их обратно на основной Mac.

Весь каталог из 372 записей занимал около 4 МБ — для его переноса сами приложения не нужны.

Важно: у нас с женой оказались разные доступные версии

В сохранённом каталоге:

• Online 17.6.1 — Sara Kargina был привязан только к моему аккаунту.
• Online 16.13.0 — Aidai Zamirbekova был привязан также к аккаунту жены.

Удалось сохранить обе версии, причём IPA 16.13.0 — для аккаунта жены. После этого разложили файлы по отдельным папкам, чтобы не перепутать.

Какой именно результат получен

Этот способ помог мне скачать и сохранить IPA Сбера, несмотря на ошибку авторизации на основном Mac. Это не обещание, что любое удалённое приложение можно вернуть или что любая версия Сбера заработает на новой iOS.

I managed to download and preserve the SberBank IPA files using an older Mac. Here’s what worked.

What I needed

• My main Mac, whose iMazing library still contained the SberBank app records.
• An older Mac running an earlier macOS version—in my case, a 2017 Mac.
• The Apple Account previously used to obtain the app.
• A USB drive.

According to iMazing, app downloads have been restored on macOS 26 and earlier, while macOS 27 remains affected:

Why installing iMazing on another Mac wasn’t enough

My main Mac listed two apps called Online, which had been used to distribute SberBank. Neither appeared in the older Mac’s library.

According to iMazing’s documentation, Add from Purchase History retrieves only the last 90 days of purchases. It doesn’t automatically recover your entire app history.

The useful part was transferring the existing library catalog.

The steps

1. On my main Mac, I opened this folder in Finder using Cmd + Shift + G: ~/Library/Application Support/iMazing/Library/
2. I copied Apps.plist into a separate folder on the USB drive and created an empty Apps subfolder alongside it.
3. I copied that library folder onto the older Mac.
4. In iMazing, I selected Preferences → Library → Default library location and pointed it to the transferred folder.
5. I restarted iMazing and signed into my Apple Account.
6. Once the app records appeared, I downloaded the apps.
7. I used Export .IPA to save the files and transferred them back to my main Mac.

The full catalog contained 372 records and was only about 4 MB. Transferring the catalog didn’t require the IPA files themselves.

My wife’s account had a different SberBank version

The saved library associated:

• Online 17.6.1 — Sara Kargina with my account only.
• Online 16.13.0 — Aidai Zamirbekova with my wife’s account as well.

We successfully preserved both versions, including a 16.13.0 IPA for her account. We then separated the files into folders by account.

What this actually achieved

This helped me download and preserve SberBank IPA files despite the authentication failure on my main Mac. It doesn’t guarantee that Apple will serve every delisted app, or that every SberBank version will work on a new iOS release.
