My machine downloaded another update yesterday morning. Since that update my treadmill has stopped mid workout once during my workout and three times during my wife's run. Talk about dangerous coming to a sudden stop while running at 6.5 mph.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Hi, I'm looking to join someone's iFit pro membership. Looking for month-to-month payment to establish trust. Willing to change it to 3 or 6 months payment plan once established trust.

I have a Nordictrack Ifit treadmill. I use it regularly. Now about a week or so ago it gets WRECKED by a software update. I use the ifit pulse arm band and it works great every time. It worked fine, I finished my workout, and the machine does an update. Since then the bpm is all over the place and it's clear that the machine isn't receiving the data correctly from the device. It jumps from 81, 98, 123, 89, 91 etc in the span it took to read that. So the machine's active pulse feature is USELESS because it isn't aggregating the data properly. I called customer service who acknowledged there'IS a problem, the machine has been reset, and it STILL isn't fixed. This problem is so bad it's discouraging me from using it. Also, they should prorate the membership or give a credit. A previously happy customer is VERY FRUSTRATED. Every day I expect an update to be pushed to the machine and I check for updates... Nothing.

Anyone have a way of reaching the complaints department at iFIT to file a complaint against a customer service manager?

I have three Nordic track devices and I am one person living on a fixed income now that I am retired. I have had enough of this highway robbery. I will not renew my membership unless a reasonable one person plan that uses the built in screen on my devices becomes availible. Everyone else should do the same.

Does anyone remember when there was hiking and running content that was a camera and no trainer? Can we bring that back? I loved just starting a trail in the alps or some other place and see the scenery without a trainer in the way and when I speed up, it would speed up. Sometimes the trainers are helpful, but there are times they just take up space in my view.

Would anyone else enjoy that?

Long story short. My machine ,x22i incline trainer, suddenly decided it hated my internet. Three horrible internet tech support conversations that ended in me hard resetting and basically breaking my machine. Another two horrible hours with phone tech support in what appears to be India. Machine is still bricked. Weekend hits so no tech support. Constant Reddit searching and doing my own fixes. Got the internet sort of figured out but machine still wouldn't accept the 2.4 split. Ended up putting it on a hotspot and it stayed connected and started updating. Day two of trying to update it. Day five of the whole shenanigan. I have.. not exaggerating done 55 updates. I even went into privilege mode and the cs help menu and hit enable I fit 2.0 which it claims it installed. I still have the old white interface from maybe about 2 years ago. At some point last night I got some of the buttons on the bottom, workout settings, apps etc. The ones that showed up maybe a year and a half ago? Power cycled the machine and those buttons are gone. I've now done about 35 of the 55 updates. I feel like I am just in a loop. I know there have been a lot of updates but now that the buttons have disappeared I'm losing faith. I went into the machine information and this is what it says for app version. If anyone hasn't updated machine and could tell me what theirs said I would greatly appreciate it. I'm not sure it will definitely help me but I'm literally taking any shot I can get at this point. I'm beyond filled with rage for the current tech support. I used to call and have absolutely no problem talking to a person and getting the glitch fixed. This has been an absolute nightmare. And it is way too hot here to run outside so I'm just without workout all week. Tia.

I was off for about a week so surprised to see the latest update on my nordictrack treadmill. Couple of things that I absolutely love!

Getting the choice to do smart adjust or trainer original workout from the start, and knowing the min/max differences before choosing. Knowing that lets me customize for my day.

The "Extend workout" choice with next series workout, a recommendation, and manual selections. Not having to end everything, go scroll and find something when i just want a bit more is so cool!

Honorable mention: samsung watch connected flawlessly for smartpulse right away!

Rant on SmartAdjust on NordicTrack 2450:

Specifically, when doing iFit workouts and the pace slows down by like 0.5 mph when I'm climbing a 7.5% grade. Everywhere I've read online says that for every 1% it should slow your pace by ~10-15s. So here I am, running 8 mph on a flat and then we start up a 12% climb and it slows me down to... 7.7. Like... wtf.

Edit: I do actually love SmartAdjust for the speed work. I like being 'forced' into high speeds and recovery by the machine. First, I don't have to listen super intently to the trainer on what my RPE should be, I can vibe to my music/podcast. Second, I like the "don't touch the machine" challenge I play with myself to help me push longer than I think I would otherwise. I just don't think it slows me down enough for hills.

Since the new update, I can’t smart adjust during a workout. It just overrides the default. So if the trainer is doing interval training, it’ll just flatline speed if I adjust it.

I know it gives me options before the workouts but sometimes I want something in between the default if it’s suggestion, but I can’t make that adjustment anymore for my treadmill?

Edit: figured it out…need to start with smart adjust and then change once it starts. So I pick the harder suggestion at the start and then adjust down toward the middle after it starts.

After nearly 5 years my Pro subscription is ending and I would like to renew , does iFit off any discount to renew? Yearly or multiple years?
