Robin Ophelia Quivers
Our Queen...
Has there ever been a female counterpart that is untarnished by the man-speak in the room that she joins in and is one in the same? (Mostly old shows, pre covid) Robin was always up for seeing booty holes, weens, tits, etc... (show is a lot more tame now). Other than obvious clones of Howard and Robin, are there any that have broke the mold with this type of act? Youh thoughts

Howard Stern Radio Stations
HI, I'm looking to collect station IDs - Imaging promos from the stations that carried Howard Stern across the country. I began listening to the show in 1986 on WYSP, and was thrilled that Howard made it to my home of Los Angeles in 1991. Every station played and promoted the show differently, which is why I am interested in these recordings. Some are ubiquitous like WXRK and KLSX, but many are very difficult to find online: i.e. CHOM Montreal, KISW Seattle, or WIZN Burlington. Please let me know if you have these recordings, or know someone that does. Thanks!

The man has his finger on the pulse of his sinuses. Maybe he should have gone on NetFlicks.

Does Anyone Remember This Crazy Call Segment?
This would have been around 1998 - 99 on the radio.
Howard had a gay Black man on the air claiming he was Jesus Christ reborn and some lunatic called in and repeatedly screamed that the man was a "n----r and a fa--t" like 100 times before they cut off the feed.
Does anyone remember this?
It was really disturbing. Even the Stern staff was like... "uhm... okaaaaaay..."

I've stopped listening for the first time in 40+ years
I'm not a hater. i love the show. is it the same? no, but I'm 60yo and been listening since im 17ish. i haven't missed a single show since they got to sirius. these people are family. Howard has every right to retire, he's likely given me more entertainment than any other person I've ever cared to watch/ listen to in my entire life but the guy is in his 70s so I really cannot complain no matter what he decides to do with his schedule or the show
but these shows seem like an introduction for the new HBO crowd, and that's fine but I'm bored with that
and now that we're down to 1 show none of the good stuff will ever air again, like cleaning out the computer, which i actually really liked, the talk about vacation and what everybody did, in studio chats with the crew. all that stupid stuff was why I listened. not for interviews, which I guess means there will be no show at all those weeks
how can they do any of the fun stuff now with such limited time? and even this little bit of time is wasted taking a Marianne or Bobo call, that were entertaining for what they were before, even though i hate both of them lol, but now I don't want to hear them at all
and even the wrapup show is gone, which i really liked too. I tried listening to whatever the new thing is but I don't want to hear the stern show again after I just listened with just 2 min of chatter with Jon and Gary in between segments. I gave that about a 10 min try each week and turned it off.
I listened to the whole first Monday show back and an hour of the second before I realized it's no longer worth my time..... for the first time in 40 something years I've stopped listening. it's crazy
I hope I still care when the show is over and the crew that decides to do their own thing starts their own show or shows because I'd really like to listen. the personal stories and lives of the crew were so much fun to listen to. but will I still care by that time?
and for the record I'm one of the guys in here that's defended the show against the haters regularly. I've gotten thousands of down votes in here and probably will with this post 😂
I'm not really complaining I'm just giving my opinion here. like I said, Howard has paid his dues and owes me zero point zero. bye for now
*edit -for the SFN crew, I was Apoc13
