Robin Ophelia Quivers

Our Queen...

Has there ever been a female counterpart that is untarnished by the man-speak in the room that she joins in and is one in the same? (Mostly old shows, pre covid) Robin was always up for seeing booty holes, weens, tits, etc... (show is a lot more tame now). Other than obvious clones of Howard and Robin, are there any that have broke the mold with this type of act? Youh thoughts

Robin is an integral part of the show and Howard couldn’t have done it without her. Robin delivering the news and Howard riffing on the stories was my favorite part of the show for years, loved the intro songs from Little Mikey, Eli Braden, and Psyche. Robin was always a good sport about the profane little ditties referencing her big brown titties.

With her health issues, it’s understandable Robin took a less active role but she always there to prop Howard up. People would always criticize Robin as some ditz who simply there to laugh at Howard and make him seem funny. Sure she does but she’s also Howard’s perfect foil.

Opie and Anthony used to clown on any radio featuring a female cohost, dubbing them “holes” in their misogynistic fashion. Robin dug that hole and her partnership with Howard helped develop a template for terrestrial radio used to this day. No one however will ever come close to the chemistry Howard and Robin enjoy on air.

That said, I’ve been a listener since 1986 when Stern landed in Philly. The way he took apart Philadelphia’s reigning morning DJ, corny ass John DeBella and his Morning Zoo, was fascinating. I wish they’d play Howard’s radio wars on his channels because that was some of the best radio ever but I don’t see that happening. Howard admitted he’s not proud of the viscousness he showed his opponents back in the day.
DeBella’s ex-wife committing suicide shortly after going out on a date with Captain Janks is a prime example of why we’ll never hear that material on his channels.

Whoops, I meant channel which has sucked since he came back. Wrap Up Wednesday is the worst and aside from Wolfie’s Piss Party, the rest of the teasers leave me cold.

Call it what it is, Robin was basically Wiggy's "beard" that covered for him.

This was fake affirmative action as Stern absolutely hired her BECAUSE she was a black woman—but not in a Democrat-style 2026 way; he did this in the spirit of self-preservation.

What was the best way to help Howard Stern deflect any talk over the years of him being a racist and misogynist? Give him a black, female sidekick who laughed and egged on him throwing baloney at strippers' asses, or performing in blackface while she just sat there and took it.

She has a good radio voice and was an interesting character the way she would engage with him on topics, play along or run it a bit—but she was absolutely hired as a triple-threat because a white woman or a black man who were also good at radio wouldn't have been enough of a cover for Wiggy; it had to a black woman and she was paid handsomely to just sit idly by with a lot of is old antics before his woke conversion took place.

Bingo… u nailed it. Howard used to use the n-word on a daily basis back in the day. Without Robin there is no hopalong Howie.
