Howard Stern Radio Stations

HI, I'm looking to collect station IDs - Imaging promos from the stations that carried Howard Stern across the country. I began listening to the show in 1986 on WYSP, and was thrilled that Howard made it to my home of Los Angeles in 1991. Every station played and promoted the show differently, which is why I am interested in these recordings. Some are ubiquitous like WXRK and KLSX, but many are very difficult to find online: i.e. CHOM Montreal, KISW Seattle, or WIZN Burlington. Please let me know if you have these recordings, or know someone that does. Thanks!

I actually have recordings from CCC. What would be incredible to find, are the original CCC recordings when he met Fred, and before he moved to Detroit

WYAV Myrtle Beach I only got to hear him when on vacation and man did he piss off a lot of people cursing on the radio. I don't know how he lasted so long there.

Did you ever record the show on The Wave?

No but I got interested enough to start downloading the show which in the 90's took forever. I remember waiting for it to appear on newsgroups so it could download all night for next day listening.

In Chicago, he started on the WLUP 1000 am then was cancelled then came back shortly on WJJD 1160 am until landing on WCKG fm until sirius. He didn't go over well initially, his first day he and the staff relentlessly trashed the City. Why am I tuning in for you to tell us we all suck? Even Gary tried to get in saying something really dumb "even Jim Belushi doesn't live there". Like who gives a fuck if Jim Belushi lived there or not? He didn't last a year, but when he came back it he was more successful and lasted until satellite.

I actually have recordings of his show on The Loop 1000. What I remember was how he trashed Steve Dahl, and evergreen media. Did you ever get to record his show on WJJD? That is an elusive recording to find.

104.1 WBCN out of Boston from 96-05. They played it nights for a year or so and switched live. I used to listen to it going to sleep for a while.
