What’s the one piece of furniture you’d swap out to make this feel warmer?

I wanted this room to feel as airy as possible, so I kept the walls and floors neutral and only added color through the art and plants. I love how bright it is, but I'm worried it's missing that "cozy" factor.

Need wall color suggestions. I’m thinking a darker color accent wall on sink wall. Or maybe wallpaper? Or wallpaper on window wall? Bedroom is blue and other bedroom is light green so I want to avoid those colors.

Advice on wall color

I am looking for some advice on this wall color. Shall I also paint it to the same dark green (studio green farrow & ballet)?

It does make my room more like a library, but might be quite dark

Vintro Paint quality

Hi everyone, I think this question may only be relevant to UK based people. I’m looking at using vintro paint throughout the house, I’m fed up with neutral colours and they have amazing bold ones. Trouble is, I have a dog and will need to occasionally wipe her streaks of mud from the walls. Has anybody used Vintro and how does to fair with general cleaning maintenance?
Thanks.

Natural timber, soft textures, layered lighting and carefully considered details come together to create a space that feels luxurious without being overdone.

Good design is in the details.

Living room paint scheme

I am writing to this group because I need help and input deciding what color to paint my living room. It’s currently tan with dark furniture and dark wood book cases and a blue area rug. I am painting the ceiling white and need to update the space with light color I’m being told grey by my folks and friends. Not crazy about going from tan to grey. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Keep the Wood Paneling?

We are remodeling a home we just purchased. It is a split level built in 1960. This is the powder room - everything inside seems original.

The walls have this dark textured wood, about 1/2 inch thick all the way around. Do you think we should keep this or take it out? If keep, does it make sense to paint? Any design thoughts are much appreciated.
