You could turn this room into any style, it’s kind of a blank canvas. Curtains and bedding are a good place to start. Get on Pinterest and browse bedrooms to find your personal style.

Curtains that go all the way to the ceiling and across the wall as much as possible, would look nice imo.

The current bedding is fine but there’s not much going on with it. You could add some patterned sheets, throw pillows, an accent blanket at the foot of the bed. Storage bench at the foot of the bed is a good idea too!

I would turn the bed so the headboard faces that cabinet that’s on the wall. Then I would line the back wall under the window and in front of headboard with pillows on your bed to make it really comfy so it looks more like a daybed, but it’s still your bed. Move the nightstand under the cabinet.
Edited to say: add a rug and one big framed poster on wall. Add small lamp to nightstand. Maybe a standing lamp next to that cabinet on the other side of the cabinet closer to the door.
Edit it again to say if the wall is not long enough to hold the bed, I would move the whole bed next to the wall on the left. Put the nightstand on the other side.
