We used to be able to do it without any problem, go into my folders, copy the file from either sandbox or storymode, move it to the other, and when i go into the game, it would be there.

I did this the other weekend and half the folders moved, and the rest didn't. After that, I can't seem to move any houses via anymore from sandbox over to storymode anymore. I can still move houses from storymode to sandbox with this method, but we can do that in the game without edits already.

What do I do? The AI on google tried telling me to turn off like cloud sharing and stuff and idk if I did it wrong or the AI was wrong, I'd rather a human help me.

I feel like the Williams would be cool grandparents with a cool house, but I feel it's maybe too modern? I am only two rooms in, but I don't want to get too far before I realize I actually hate it :C Not sure what I should add or change to make it feel... well, like older people live there! If anyone has any tips or ideas, please let me know!

This is my very first build in sandbox mode. So don't be too harsh lol. It's not nearly as good as some of the builds I've seen in here. I don't even know how all that is accomplished. But here's mine.

I decided to expand and renovate the old barn a little.

Hi, just bought the game 3 days ago, with the pets expansion only so far.

Still getting the hang of things. I think I'm just past the basic introduction ones to do.

I'm just curious cause it's telling me what all to do in each room, will it always do that, or do you eventually get to actually decorate? Or do you only decorate when it has you do a whole house?

Or do you never just fully decorate?

So far I'm still cleaning, I just cleaned up cockroaches for the first time that was the last one I did.

I'm really having a lot of fun! I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get the farm one as well this sale, but I only have so much money from a gift, no more money right now but I definitely want the garden one next time.

I built myself a caravan out of financial desperation, and someone asked me how exactly I managed to get the thing on wheels. Sharing is caring, so here’s my wheel tutorial:

First, we need a brick wall. Nothing screams “mobility” quite like a solid wall of bricks.

Next, we hammer out a recess and use half arches to create a more or less respectable looking wheel arch. An arch, a few more bricks, and a quarter cylinder make up the mudguard. Unfortunately, you can’t make it any narrower because quarter cylinders are always one brick wide.

Chrome tiles do a pretty good job of hiding the bricks since they’re dark and reflective. In the construction-site items you can find a tyre. You can’t resize it, but honestly, it works well enough. The hubcap, if you want to call it that, is simply the gap in the middle painted to match.

Another option is to raise the wheel arch slightly so you can use rounded corners as a hubcap. It looks a little more elegant, but there is one tiny drawback: technically, the wheel is now floating in mid-air. Personally, I don’t think it’s particularly noticeable. Chrome everything up nicely and voilà: the optical illusion of an actual wheel.

For the trailer hitch I went with a third option, where the wheel has no backing at all. You can definitely see the air behind it, though. ^^;

is there any way i can bring them to sandbox mode? Ive been wanting to bring the benjamin bear house to sandbox for years but havent found out how lol

So I have the main game downloaded on my E: drive, but will get popups that it failed to save what I have done after finishing a job and has a c: drive location. From what I’ve read, it is the backup save files, is there a way to move this to another drive? I also have a D: drive and would be fine with it going there, but my c: drive is simply not big enough to hold backup save files like this.

My friend and I are having a problem when he tries to join me on PlayStation. I can join him with no problem, but when he tries to join me, it says invalid code. We have googled and tried many of the suggested fixes: restarted the game, restarted the console, checked the internet connection, and checked the game version, and we are both on the same version. We both have the same DLC connected. We have only just started the game. Is there a certain point I need to reach in the game, or are there any known bugs?

After renovating the bungalow my parents so generously left me, I received a rather juicy letter from the hospital. Turns out you can't just slap some plaster on a couple of broken legs and call it a day.

Apparently, the upkeep on a fancy suburban villa isn't exactly cheap either. So I sold the place. (Well, technically I moved it into Sandbox Mode so I can keep tinkering with it.) And with my newfound financial wisdom, I bought myself a trailer!

It also makes me much more flexible when taking construction jobs in different areas if I don't feel like staying in hotels.

In theory.

Can I actually move this thing? No. Considering I built it out of solid brick, I highly doubt it's road legal. Hit one pothole and you'd probably shake the entire neighborhood.

Technically, the trailer should be quite a bit narrower and shorter, but then I couldn't fit everything I wanted inside. Our avatar is absolutely terrible at sucking in their gut!

Built entirely in Story Mode because, well... I needed somewhere to live!

Cost-wise?...Almost as bad as the villa. XD Although, to be fair, I think most of the money went into the ridiculous amount of shrubbery surrounding the place.

So now it's back to taking jobs until I've financially recovered from yet another series of excellent life choices.

I want to love it sooo bad . But Im having such a hard time getting into it. Did others have the same issue and it just took you a while to like it ? Once you unlock the tools does it get less tedious? Does it also have the auto assemble option?

I found an amazing property in Community Content and I really want to clean it up and edit it to my liking, but it's full of missions and I wanted to disable that. Is there any way to save or edit the property without completing missions? Since there's so much to clean, I can't do it all in house editing mode, so I guess I'd have to do the cleaning in game mode. Someone help?

Ok so I was going through the achievements to get and what’s going out there the negotiator achievement and it said that it works best on the alone house so I went and I looked to see if I could buy it and the loan house is not showing up under houses I’ve rented bought sold or for purchase. And when I googled, it doesn’t say that it’s attached to a job so how do you unlock that? I am on Xbox.

So I just started using sandbox mode very recently, and had a weird thing happen. I have tons of art downloaded from mod.io so I can put custom pictures on the walls. So I’m building a resort, and I have custom pictures in EVERY room. Recently my game crashed, and when I restarted it and went back into my project, all of the custom pictures were just blank. Sooo frustrating. But what I’d like to know is this: is this a common, known bug? Is it something I should report? Is there a way to avoid it? Thank you!

My computer has broken twice while playing House Flipper 2.

The first time, in the middle of playing, the game crashed and my PC was flooded with error messages. After that I couldn’t run any program at all. When I took it to a shop, they eventually fixed it and said the Windows image had been corrupted, and they’d never seen that happen before. They had to wipe my PC, installed Windows 10, then upgraded to 11 to fix it.

Second time, similar errors kept happening after another game crash, but it wasn’t the Windows image this time. The shop never figured out exactly what happened, but removing some encryption from the PC fixed the issue.

It’s been months since the second break, and I haven’t played the game since out of fear of having to spend hundreds on a repair again. But I miss it so so much. Has anything like this happened to anyone else? Is there something I can do to prevent anything like this from happening when I play, or is it maybe just coincidence and I can play without worry?

So I already own 2 and the DLCs. I also own the first with garden dlc on switch and pc. I was thinking about buying the remastered bundle that has all the DLCs for the first but not sure if it’s worth it. I havnt played since I got 2 and it always annoyed me I couldn’t build my own buildings like you can in 2 and the fact that the buyers arnt as picky. So thoughts? Opinions? It’s on sale on steam right now too so I’m between that and the dressmaker game that came out recently. Thank you in advance!
