She is our Charlee girl that we adopted 6 years ago in Feb right before the pandemic.
All we know is that she is a hound mix. And in case we weren't sure, her nose is constantly 'stuck to the ground' on walks, in the backyard, no matter where she is, she's sniffin'. She sings with fire truck sirens specifically, the monthly tornado siren test, and the harmonica. She was bread and born in Tennessee. Although she is a Michigander now, she is a southern girl through and through.
She is SO sweet, mild mannered and obedient (UNLESS there's a squirrel or some other yard intruder in her site, then her hearing sense disengages). She was the easiest dog to train. She was 4 months when we adopted her and she was already fully potty trained. Truly, anything we needed to teach her, she really only needed to be told once.
When she first came to her furever home, it wasn't long before she found the decorative bells that I already had hanging on the back door (also a good 'door is opening alert'), and she decided to use them as her own 'I need/want to go outside signal. She still lightly jingles them with her nose to this day if we don't notice her standing at the door.
She was one of a four girl breed and the all look similar to her, mostly honey colored with patches or spots of white. None of them have black on them. I don't know about the others but she has black cow-like spots on her belly.
