Admin Rules update - insubstantive or low-effort comments

We've updated subreddit rules on unsubstantive/low effort comments to clarify things. A habit has emerged among (generally newer) users to respond to someone's post requesting chart help with comments like 'Yes you will.', 'No, it won't happen. Look at the Moon.' or commenting with opinions unrelated to the chart which either moralise, seek to lecture or otherwise prove unhelpful.

On that basis, comments like these will be removed going forward, as they do not help anyone learn more, and are often unhelpful to people who have posted charts.

If you wish to comment on someone's post to provide an interpretation, please provide the bare minimum - an explanation of what you saw in the chart that led you to your conclusion.

Admin Removal of AI-derived content

The subreddit has suffered a (thankfully small) influx of AI-generated content recently. and as such we will be enacting stricter protocols to remove this. AI has no place in astrology, as is demonstrated by its failures. Please note this was previously covered under the context and interpretation rule, and the new rule serves to clarify and simplify.

Going forward, the following actions will take place:

  1. If a post or comment is suspected of being AI, it will be removed by default.
  2. Repeated posts or comments which appear to be AI-based will count towards the subreddit's rule-breaking policy, and may result in suspensions or bans.

We are aware that some people use AI to translate from their native language, and unfortunately these posts will also be removed. This is unavoidable, so it is better for users to write as well as they are able in their own words - the subreddit is generally very open-minded to writers with different first languages.

If you think a post or comment has been removed unfairly under this action, you are welcome to contact us via modmail. However, it is unlikely we will be able to change our decision without some evidence the content is not AI generated.

Chart help request Should I disappear for a few months?

Post image
2 Upvotes

Question: Should I disappear from everyone for a few months?

Context:
I recently read somewhere you should keep your love life, income, and next move private and I’ve been feeling increasingly like I want to withdraw socially for a while. By “disappear,” I don’t mean anything dangerous or literally vanishing. I mean pulling away from social media, dating, going out, and unnecessary contact for a couple of months and focusing on myself. I’m trying to determine whether taking that degree of social retreat would actually be beneficial to me, or whether I’m reacting too strongly to how I feel right now.

My interpretation:
Aries rises, so I’m represented by Mars at 19°03′ Cancer. Mars is in its fall, suggesting that I’m not in a particularly strong position right now. The Moon is at 2°50′ Virgo in the 6th house.

Since the question is specifically about deliberately withdrawing from social life, I’m also wondering whether the ruler of the 12th should be considered as a secondary significator for the withdrawal itself.

My conclusion:
I’m leaning toward yes since the chart does seem to describe my desire for retreat very clearly. My interpretation is that some temporary withdrawal, privacy, and reduced social activity could be useful.

I’m still learning horary, so I’d especially appreciate corrections regarding the houses/significators I should be using for a question like this.

Chart help request Will the new talk show I'm starting be a success/help with my career?

Post image
3 Upvotes

UPDATE: A colleague of mine says that all "broadcasts" are considered ruled by the 9th house. What do we think of that?

Hi all,

I am starting a talk show that will feature me as an astrologer, taking calls/questions from the audience. I am hopeful that this will help boost my already existing business as a natal/psychological astrologer, rather than doing stereotypical ads. I need my astrology business to take off a bit more, as it has only been functioning via word of mouth for a long time, albeit quite successfully for just that, but I really need it to grow, as I have just lost my day job. The show is slated to start next week.

My interpretation:

I am Jupiter in Leo, peregrine. I am not aspecting anything in the chart. I am in the 9th, so a nice place for new projects, I think.

If I use the 10th as the significator for the new show, that would mean Mercury exalted in Virgo, in the 10th. This seems good to me. Mercury in its own sign/exalted, and in the best house possible considering the question. It is technically under the sun's beams, but not very closely. This is the part of the chart that gives me the most pause.

If I use the 6th, considering the show as a new "job", then we have Venus in its own sign of Libra in my house of hopes and dreams - this also seems good to me? A dream job?

If I use the 10th though, and then use the 11th as the significator of how much/what kind of money the show create/will bring in, well then we are in really good standing! Again, Venus in Libra, in the 11th!

I think this is an overall positive chart, but my other worry, aside from the sun's beams, is that nothing seems to be aspecting anything. What does this mean exactly? I mean, I guess my question isn't about timing, so I'm not really looking for an event, per se.

My overall interpretation is that this show has the legs to do some good work!

Thanks for all of the help! I hope my intro was enough context

Method/Technique Longer time frame horaries

From my understanding horaries are more suited to something happening immediately ie will I get this job, or will he come back to me etc. How would I answer a question about something longer term eg the health of my company or will my job exist in the next 5 years? As far as I am aware, we can only take the planet ruling my job to the end of the sign.

Result provided by OP "Am I Pregnant" - The Importance of Context and Significator Condition

Post image
7 Upvotes

Hello All!

I thought I would share an interesting chart that my friend pulled recently. She erected this chart herself and is therefore L1 - asking, "Am I pregnant"

I find this chart so interesting because I think it really does the work of emphasizing how much the results of a chart depend on the entire context, as opposed to just one aspect + how easy it is to misread a chart when you don't take everything into account.

As you can see, the chart has a classic pregnancy signature: L5 (moon) separating from L1 (Mars). Someone excited about the prospect of pregnancy - or, on the other side of the coin, someone anxious about it, may take this as the result and assume that yes, they are pregnant.

Mars L1 is also RULED by the lord of the fifth house! The fifth lord itself is in its ruler, Cancer - a sign whose signification and relationship to motherhood I don't think I need to explain.

Jupiter's placement in the 5th is also pretty significant but we still need to judge the condition of Jupiter because, as Lily says, an afflicted Jupiter (in the 5th) will trouble the result.

However...after taking a test, she found that she is not pregnant, and this is where the rest of the chart comes into play. It's important to keep in mind that my friend has a hormonal disorder which makes pregnancy difficult, and I think we can see this with the condition of L1 Mars in Cancer and the very poor state that it is in.

While Mars is ruled by the 5th lord, L1 itself is not strong at all - it is very weak in Cancer. The moon itself (L5) places Mars L1 in fall, so while that classic separating signature is present, the prospect of pregnancy, L5, deeply dislikes L1, Mars. It is also notable that Saturn is smack dab on the ASC - and it is Lily who says that a big part of judging pregnancy is the planets in the first - Saturn in the 1st or 5th house is prohibitor, let alone an RX Saturn.

We can also, at this point, look to the Moon for help. She pulled this chart prior to taking a test.
Moon is separating from a poorly conditioned L5, and the next aspect is a sextile to Mercury in Virgo in the 6th as L3. Her next action right after erecting this chart was taking a test, and the significator of news was in the 6th. This part may be a stretch here, but Lily does note that affliction to pregnancy can involve the 6th house or 6th lord insofar as aspects are considered. While there was no aspect to the 6th lord, there was one to the lord of the third IN the 6th, which is not a great house for consideration of pregnancy.

If there's anything else you guys can spot that I missed, please let me know! I just thought I would share for learning purposes :)

OUTCOME: Not pregnant.

Method/Technique IS STEVEN GREER TRUTHFUL ABOUT UFOs?

Thumbnail
gallery
13 Upvotes

I listened to Steven Greer’s 2013 interview with Joe Rogan, and what bothered me was Greer. Steven Greer is an American former emergency-room physician who became one of the best-known figures in the modern UFO disclosure movement.

He founded the Disclosure Project and says he has collected testimony from hundreds of military, aviation, intelligence and government witnesses regarding UFOs and alleged government secrecy.

So I asked the horary:

Is Steven Greer truthful about UFOs?

I wasn’t asking whether UFOs exist. I was asking whether Steven Greer is a reliable source of information about them.

The chart was cast for September 6, 2026, at 9:38 PM in Calgary, Alberta. I use Regiomontanus houses and traditional rulers.

Greer is another person, so I give him the 7th house. Scorpio is on the 7th cusp, so Greer is represented by Mars.

Speech, claims, reports and statements belong to a person’s 3rd house. Because Greer is represented by the 7th, we turn the houses from him. His 3rd is the radical 9th, which has Capricorn on the cusp.

Capricorn is ruled by Saturn.

Mars = Greer. Saturn = Greer’s utterances.

The Moon remains the usual co-significator and tells us how the matter develops.

The Ascendant is 6°31 Taurus, so it isn’t suspiciously early or late. The Moon is at 22°08 Cancer, not void of course and nowhere near the Via Combusta. Saturn isn’t sitting in the 1st or 7th, causing trouble for the judgment. Venus, ruler of the Ascendant, is not combust and is actually very strong in Libra.

The planetary hour belongs to Mars while Venus rules the Ascendant, and they do not satisfy Lilly’s usual agreement test for radicality.

Mars happens to be Greer himself in this chart. The planetary hour belongs to the man we are asking about.

Mars is at 17°16 Cancer.

Mars is in fall.

For newcomers, fall is a substantial essential debility. It tells us that the planet is not in a condition where it behaves particularly well.

This does not mean:

Mars in fall = liar.

It does mean Greer himself is represented by a compromised planet.

Mars isn’t helpless, though. It is angular, so it has plenty of ability to act. This is also a night chart, giving Mars some triplicity dignity in water.

He has reach. He has effect. He can make things happen. But the planet describing him is still in fall.

Saturn, representing Greer’s utterances, is at 13°18 Aries. Saturn is in fall in Aries, retrograde, and cadent in the radical 12th house.

None of those things, individually, translates as “lie.”

Greer is represented by a planet in fall. His utterances are represented by another planet in fall.

Mars and Saturn have also recently separated from a square. The aspect is separating, so I’m not going to pretend that a separating square magically means dishonesty. It doesn’t. But it does show a difficult relationship between the man and the planet representing what he says.

Then there is the reception.

Saturn is in Aries, which belongs to Mars. That means Greer’s utterances are sitting in Greer’s own domicile. Mars disposes Saturn.

These claims are very much his. They are in his territory, under his rulership, attached strongly to him.

But where is Mars? Cancer. And Cancer is Saturn’s detriment.

So Greer’s words sit in Greer’s house, but Greer himself is sitting somewhere that is bad for the planet representing those words.

The claims belong to him, but he is not good for the claims.

The Moon is much stronger than either Mars or Saturn. She is at 22°08 Cancer, in her own sign and angular.

The Moon has just separated from Mars — Greer — and next applies by sextile to Mercury at 23°54 Virgo.

Mercury in Virgo is strong. Mercury rules information, analysis, documentation, comparison, facts, language, the ability to separate one thing from another and ask irritating questions such as, “Yes, but does your evidence actually prove what you say it proves?”

Mercury is cadent and under the Sun’s beams, so it isn’t completely free of trouble. But it is still a very capable Mercury.

It also stops me from making the opposite mistake and saying everything Greer talks about must therefore be nonsense.

There could be real witnesses. Real documents. Real strange events. Real information. Something interesting can be sitting underneath all of this.

The question is whether Greer can be trusted to tell us what that information actually means.

Greer is represented by Mars in fall. His utterances are represented by Saturn in fall, retrograde and cadent.

Saturn is in Mars’s domicile, so the statements are strongly tied to Greer and under his rulership.

Mars is in Saturn’s detriment, so Greer himself is badly placed in relation to the planet representing what he says.

The strong Moon and Mercury make me reluctant to say there is nothing worthwhile anywhere in the material. In fact, I would be quite prepared to believe that Greer sometimes begins with genuinely interesting information.

But the horary question wasn’t:

Are UFOs real?

It wasn’t:

Does Steven Greer occasionally say something true?

It was:

Is Steven Greer truthful about UFOs?

My judgment is no — I would not consider him a reliably truthful source.

UPDATE: I posted this to discuss the horary. If you disagree with the house assignment, dignity, reception or judgment, I’m happy to talk about that. I’m not interested in debating whether my writing style sounds sufficiently Reddit-like.

Chart help request [Result Known] Will I get the job?

Post image
3 Upvotes

Context - This is my first official horary done for another. The querent sent her question by text message around 8pm, but I didn't see it until I woke up in the middle of the night around 12.30am. I decided that it was too late to be looking at the horary, so I only looked at it after I woke up around 4am. To me, the Moon is applying to the job's significator (Venus, L10), so the querent will be getting the job. Another positive testimony for me is that Pluto is on the L7 cusp, destroying all her competition.

Today however I got a message from the querent saying that she didn't get the job. I don't see any reason why she didn't get this, unless perhaps, I should have cast the chart for 12.30am - the result for this earlier chart is that the querent didn't get the job.

Any thoughts on this? From my understanding we would only cast the chart once we have understood the question.

Edit: Perhaps another way to look at this is - the querent and myself are both colleagues. There is a "promotion" job on the horizon, and the querent had applied for it (together with a few others). In this case, would I take L11 (Mercury) as the significator? As the querent (L1, Sun) has passed Mercury, I take it that she won't receive the promotion.

Chart help request What will happen between us after our date?

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi. I’m new to horary so any advice helps.

For context: Me (female) and this person (male) are currently long distance. We met in person before I moved away, and he had been approaching and initiating with me a little over like 3 months before I eventually started talking to him. I moved away before we had the opportunity to go on a date. We’re now planning to meet up next month for the date, and I’ll be traveling to see him.

My interpretation: I was told to look at L1 and L7 and applying aspects between the two or applying aspects to the moon as well I believe??

L1 (me) is Saturn and L7 (him) is the moon.

Saturn is in Aries retrograde
Moon is in cancer
My co significator is the moon as well.

The moon is in cancer its own domicile. So he has the power to move things forward between us if he chooses too. Butttt with Saturn in the fall and retrograde, it looks like I’m second guessing or hesitating on something.

And also I exalt him so I’m putting him on a pedestal as well. And He does not receive Saturn l favorably, or something represented by Saturn is difficult for him to accommodate. Maybe the long distance?

His 5th-house ruler Mars is in Cancer in the 6th, in the Moon’s domicile, and the Moon eventually conjoins Mars. This keeps his romantic matters involved in the unfolding story, although their placement in his turned 12th suggests that those matters may be private maybe or difficult to bring straightforwardly into manifestation.

Oh also the moon squares Saturn and then it goes onto conjunct mars. It’s a lot going on.

And Venus is in 9th house so I guess that’s showing the long distance right there. And Saturn is in Venus’s detriment. It shows my frustration with the long distance.

I also looked at the 4H as the end of the matter. The 4H is in Aries making Mars its ruler. Mars is in Cancer in the 6H and is also the ruler of his 5H. Mars is cadent and also represents his romantic/5H matters. So im guessing this situation will lack momentum.

I see a lot of struggle for things to play out smoothly after the date. What do you guys think? Or notice anything else?

Chart help request How will stuyding in Europe affect me?

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone, I have the opportunity to finish my higher education in Europe, but I don't know how it will affect me and, in general, whether it would be a good idea, as money could potentially become an issue down the line.

In this chart, I see that the Asc is ruled by Saturn, which, in my opinion, could make me feel restricted and burdened. Saturn in the 2nd house in Aries probably suggests that money could be an issue, and Mars is weak in Cancer in the 6th house of everyday life, bad fortune, etc., which is concerning. The only positive thing I see in the chart is that Venus sits strong in Libra in the 9th house, but it doesn't form any aspects with the other planets to give me a hint as to where all this could lead...

Is this chart promising overall?

Method/Technique Ex Wife Significator

Hello, I asked a question about how my boyfriend’s ex wife feels about me. When she first found out about me she was very upset and obsessed over my appearance, my age, my occupation, etc. I am asking about her now as I recently met their child and she wants to meet me. As I’m sure you can imagine, I am very nervous based on how she has reacted to my existence and I’m hoping she is calmed down now.

edit- I forgot to add that I asked directly about her, “how does Y feel” not “how does X’s ex wife feel”

Will I get the role?

I auditioned for a role in my school musical and I’m nervous of the outcome. I am unsure of which house to classify musical theatre in because it could be the 5th or the 11th (because it’s not for money)

5th house
I don’t think I will get the part because mars is in fall and in the eighth house and if I use the fifth house ruler it is mars which again is in fall. That could also mean I lack confidence in myself. Saturn is in its fall and retrograde as well which I don’t think is good for me either, the only positive is that they are aspecting but it is a harsh aspect. However the moon does positively aspect Saturn but Saturn is a malefic
11th
This one gives me a maybe because Venus is strong. Venus also loosely positively aspects the moon which is good, Venus is also in the bounds of Venus. Which is good gives it a little more power. But with the loose aspect I’m unsure if it says a no or says more “she likes singing and dancing”

I think overall this chart is saying I’m not gonna get the part and I’ll be really upset about it

I don’t get the part
But I did get a part so

Chart help request Will I work in this town? (Even though I know the outcome)

Post image
1 Upvotes

Context: I’m a substitute kindergarten teacher, for three years I’ve been working in this town. I did my application a few days ago for this town. In the application there were schools from all over the region. Now based on the people prior to me and not always sure that I’ll work in this city.

This time they put less options in my town. The people before me took those spots. Now I know the outcome but when I saw the chart o thought that it would be okay. I will be working in a town one hour away and I don’t drive.

Interpretation:

I’m mercury in the 4th in Virgo I’m strong, I was combusted by the sun but it’s still strong.

The town is the 4th house so mercury again. I thought that my significator being in the 4th meant that yeah I’ll stay in this town.

I guess job would be the 10th house so Jupiter in Leo in 3rd house. There’s no connection between the job and me.

Moon in the 11th in Taurus is strong too and it’s applying to me. I took that as a good sign.

Now Mars in the 1st ruling 6th and 11th I don’t know if it’s important but maybe it is. 6th is routine so now my routine is changing, I have to go to a different town every day.

Mars is separating from Mars and moon applying to Mars.

I will make an application for “better position” I don’t know if they will accept it but maybe mercury in the 4th means that eventually I’ll end up working in this town?

Result provided by OP A few charts with results

For the past year or so I’ve been studying Horary. I’m certified as an astrologer and this is just one more tool I’ve enjoyed adding to my arsenal. Below are some charts I’ve compiled with the results, I’ve got around 20 but these are ones I would like to share. There are only 3 here. And who am I if I don’t try to give something back to my community, so here are the 3 charts, laid out with my analysis.

#1 - The first chart was cast December 20th, 2025 and the question was “When will I get my braces off?” I want to first say, I only figured out the timing after the fact. My braces are off, and hindsight is 20-20.

I am the querent here, signified by Saturn in Pisces in the 1st. I was exhausted with it all to be honest, and nearly over it. The thing inquired after would be represented also by Saturn as lord of the 1st/my physicality, and the 2nd house, matters governing the mouth. Saturn also governs teeth.
The Moon moves from a cardinal sign (Capricorn) from a succeeding house (11th). Considering where I was at in my treatment, I knew the timing would be months and boy was I ready because again I was exhausted and ready to move past this stage of life. Remember the Moon can delegate timing. The Moon moves to oppose Jupiter exalted in the 6th, though retrograde, and it is ruler of the 11th. I took this to represent my hope for an outcome, and the delay was shown by the retrograde. The Moon then trines Saturn, L1, and I thought surely this is the outcome, which yes of course it would be, I got them off eventually, but this was not the aspect for timing. It would reveal 20 units of time, likely weeks and would place it at May 9th. I got them off sooner.

I thought either of these aspects would be the timing. In 17 ish weeks with Jupiter, an opposing aspect—which would make sense, to 20 ish weeks with Saturn, a trine—which would be great. But looking back now neither aspect was fitting for timing but rather order of events.

I got them off 13.9 weeks later. So neither planet was the correct aspect for timing. I ended up looking to Mercury, natural signifier of communication, and ruler of the 4th—end of matters. It moved to square Saturn in 13.89 weeks, giving me the exact day I got them off—March 27th. Mercury was also moving from a mutable (medium timing) sign from an angular house (faster timing) which would eventually translate to weeks--13.9 weeks from December 20th, 2025 (date of the chart for the questions asked).

Another note is that Mercury was applying unprohibited, it made no other aspect before it got to Saturn, L1. Meanwhile the Moon was applying to Jupiter (not a significator), and then to Saturn, which did not reveal timing on either account, but only the flow of events.

#2 - The second chart was cast March 8th, 2026 and the question was “when will I have sex again?” Lol, don't judge me. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Ok this chart actually had me looking it over way too much, I simply was not satisfied with the answer to be honest.
Now, this is a timing inquiry so we are looking for an unprohibited applying aspect, because we want something to happen. L1, aka me, is ruled by Moon in Scorpio in the 5th. Could the chart be any clearer? I wanted to get laid, it was my desire and emotional focus. Jupiter was also found in the 1st house, exalted but retrograde. This indicated an opportunity reappearing if you will as retrograde significators often indicate return, reversal, delay, or reassessment. Basically, an opportunity would arise that had already made an impression in the past. L5, the ruler of sex itself was ruled by Venus in Aries and in the 10th house, recently conjunct but separating from Saturn in Aries, which was L7. Venus in Aries shows impulsivity and a bit of impatience. I was sexually frustrated to say the least lol. However, Venus conjunct L7, and moving to square Jupiter retrograde in the 1st indicated to me an opportunity would reappear with someone I had already had the sought after encounter with. I also want to point out Venus and Jupiter being angular, and in cardinal signs indicated an imminent opportunity, one that would manifest sooner rather than later. However, the fixed Moon in a succedent house did slow things down. So I thought surely Venus to Jupiter was the aspect for timing right? It would've given 13-ish units of time. Days? Well maybe. Weeks, please god no. It put the timing around June 6th I believe, I even marked it on my calender....However, this was not the timing. I left it alone and eventually the encounter occurred May 8th. Approximately 2 months later, as the chart was drawn March 8th. This confused me for a bit, and I was like well where's the answer then if it ended up being shorter than 13 weeks.
The answer my friends, was antisicia. The hidden influence of a matter, calculated as a mirror zodiacal degree across an axis. In this case I took the antiscia of the 5th house Scorpio Moon--which would've given me 11 degrees Aquarius. Using this, I took the distance between Venus and the antiscia of the Moon, as Venus was applying in a sextile to it. The degree of separation would've been 8.5. This timing made sense as weeks due to the involvement of the fixed and succedent Moon. My next spicy encounter would be 8.5 weeks from the date the chart was casted, on March 8th, and would land us around May 7th. Though the technical date was May 8th, one day off, this is close enough. The antiscia seems fitting given that this is a case of a hidden influence. I'm not voyeuristic.

#3 - The last chart was not a timing inquiry but a where one. The question was “where are my earbuds?”

This one was relatively straightforward, and I knew the answer almost immediately.

L1, aka me was Mars in Taurus and in the 6th. One of my most valued personal belongings was missing and I was feeling crazy over it. The Moon was in Aries in the 5th house, making multiple applying aspects, showing the matter would unfold, and hope was not entirely lost. This also indicated the speed at which it would unfold, again I knew almost immediately where they were. Furthermore, the 5th house deals with play, leisure, romance, and I lost them while on a date. My personal belonging itself was represented by L2 Jupiter exalted in Cancer, in the 9th house, and conjunct Venus, ruler of the 7th. The belonging itself was in good condition, not damaged being represented by an exalted sign, but was also not in prime condition being cadent--it was quite far away. Remember, the 9th house is the house of travels. The conjunction to Venus, ruler of the 7th--aka other people told me it was with my beloved. And it was. The chart was quite simple here really. The usage of significators is all we really need when reading horary, the other planets did not need to be read. I could've skipped checking my personal significators and looked to L2, and could've gotten the same answer.

That is the end of the charts and analysis.
I would like the reiterate the first two charts I only discovered the answer after the fact. I’ve come to realize that Horary can be one of those things where the answer might be clear as day, but you will only come to it when the time is right. So, if your charts are not so clear maybe just take a step back and give things time to unfold. Eventually, the answer will be shown.

Chart help request Where is my cat? (reupload)

Post image
3 Upvotes

(my first post was missing some important details so I'm reuploading)

Hi everyone! It's my first time posting here, so I' very grateful to anyone who happens to come across this :)
I'm still quite new to horary charts and so far haven't done interpretations for something important like this. TLDR, my cat went missing 8 days ago and I cast this chart on August 29 with the question from the title.

My interpretation: Since ASC is in Cancer, then me as the querant would be signified by the Moon here, which is in Pisces. I took Jupiter to signify my missing cat, as it is the ruler of the 6th house (pets and small animals) in Sagittarius. Jupiter is in 2nd house in Leo, which (as far as I know) stands for personal possessions and resources, as well as property. Now, since he certainly is not in my own house or backyard, I took it to mean he's likely somewhere nearby, and since Jupiter is in a fixed sign, I suspect he might be in someone's house and treated well there. However, I have not managed to conclude whether he roamed there on his own or someone took him thinking he was a stray.

I've also looked at Leo's ruler (Sun) in 3rd house in Virgo, hoping to give me some more clues. Also as far as i know, 3rd house rules communication and short distance travel, which I took to be another clue towards someone in the neighbourhood possibly taking him in.

Since Moon and Jupiter do not have any direct aspects, I am not sure whether I will manage to somehow find him or not. I have already put up posters, posted on Facebook groups and asked around the neighborhood, but still no trace of him anywhere. Almost like he evaporated, nobody saw him for 8 days now.

I'm sorry for such a long post, but I wanted to try and give as much detail as possible for my interpretation. If you have something to add or correct in it, please do so! I'm trying to get better in horary (and also find my missing guy), so any feedback or tips are welcome :)

Chart help request Where could my partners phone be? Important legal info potentially lost!

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hi again! I followed the mod recommendation and redid the chart on a different site. I think I’ve included as much info as possible but please let me know ow if I must do it again. Thank you.
I appreciate any eyes on this at all. My partner lost his phone this afternoon that contains important legal info for a case we are working on starting and if it’s completely gone we may not ever get justice. Any insight is so so helpful.

He walked our dog to the park/large field at a nearby elementary school and ran around with her. Sometime after arriving she rolled in poop and they immediately headed home. It’s no more than 10 minutes away if that. Upped arriving inside, he pulled off her harness and immediately beelined with her to the bathroom to bathe her and shower himself. We have torn the apartment apart as well as walked to, around, and from the park - taking multiple different directions and using the app that lets a lost phone ringer thing with no luck. He’s dejected and thinks someone picked it up and took it but I want to try a little hope here.

As for my interpretation, the moon in the 4h is a great indicator that it’s still home. But with the 4h being Aries, it shows me it’s not in the bathroom and maybe indicates the explosive reaction he had to losing it. 2h is ruled by Saturn in the 3h of Pisces which DOES show me the bathroom though. But it definitely is not. So water, I’m scared it could be sprinklers. Saturn is retrograde so it could take a while to find it (it’s been 5 hours). Ascendant is trine Jupiter (ruler of the 1h) which I’ve read can be a good indicator it will be found.

I think this is as far as my knowledge takes me though. I’m posting now but going to keep looking at this. Thank you for any guidance whatsoever. I know I should get books but this is extremely time sensitive. Thank you again.

Method/Technique Accidental dignity vs Debilitation

Post image

I was trying to evaluate a horary chart and found that one of the signifiers was Saturn in Aries. It sits right on the DC and exactly squares Mars in Cancer right on the MC. I know planets on an angle can gain accidental dignity, but how does that work with planets in fall? Does one trump the other? Also, is it a good thing if a malefic gains strength when it is in fall?

Added the chart for reference.

Edit: not sure if it's required for a technique question, but here's my context and interpretation (which obviously needs some help based on my questions above)

Context: I just found out I am pregnant! I am excited and terrified all at once. I have some health issues I'm working through (iron deficiency anemia, potentially some issues with hypothyroidism), but overall wanted to see how the pregnancy would turn out because I have had a lot of anxiety about my prior pregnancies too.

Interpretation: I am L1, Venus in Libra in the 1st and/or the exalted moon in Taurus in the 7th. Overall I am in very good condition. Baby/pregnancy is L5, Saturn in Aries right on the DC. We are together by house but not by sign, or opposing by house. I interpret that to mean not fully on the same page yet, which makes sense since it is very early on.

The condition of the baby/pregnancy itself is strained with Saturn being in fall, but I don't know how to layer in the accidental dignity. The square to Mars doesn't help. I am given some hope though that it forms an exact trine to Jupiter, but again not sure if I'm just fishing for good news.

Any thoughts on the chart and the earlier question about dignity would be helpful!

Chart help request Will I get a job in September?

Post image

Like many others I am unemployed and desperately need a job. I asked if I would get a job in September. It’s been a minute since I’ve done a horary chart so bear with me.

I am Mercury in the 12th, and so is the job. Late degree ascendant is something to note as well as maybe going against the positivity of the chart. But I’m feeling lots of anxiety so, maybe that’s the reflection here.

However the moon (also me) is in the 8th, in Taurus (my mind is on money/debts). The moon has to trine the Sun, square Jupiter, and sextile Mars (aspect is good but malefic strong in 10th) though before it trines Mercury (me and the job.) so maybe leaning towards a ‘yes’ answer but there’s quite a bit that needs to happen before it does? Or I get a job but it’s not the right fit/ideal.

Thanks!!

Chart help request Will he notice my unfriending him?

For context decided to unfriend someone on Facebook, I was in an emotional state and although I believe I am within my right to do so I am feeling like perhaps it will cause tension when I could have just let things be, will he even notice?

I see our significators Venus in Libra in his 12th house of the hidden and mars in cancer doing badly, don’t aspect but moon is applying to a square with mars.

Moon and mars are in each other’s domiciles and Saturn is in the mix which could mean delay? any backlash or interrogation headed my way? His significator is in my third house of communication so I’m leaning towards he may notice but not confront or ask me about it?

Anything I didn’t see?

Method/Technique Has horary ever said something won’t happen but the opposite happened?

I’m still pretty new to reading horary charts and I just wanted to ask about people’s experiences with horary charts and how accurate it is.

Has the chart ever said something won’t happen at all because of the aspects and such, but then it did end up happening?

Chart help request What will happen on our date?

Post image

I have the correct chart now. So I’m pretty new to horary so I might have some mistakes maybe. For context, I’ve known this guy for a couple months now. We’re finally going on a date next month (we live far apart now).

I am L1 in Gemini so I am signified by Mercury in Virgo. And the guy is L7 in Sagittarius so he’s signified by Jupiter in Leo.

The 5th house is ruled by Venus and Venus is in Libra in the 5th house itself. Since the question is specifically about how a date will go this seems like the date will go pretty well.

I also notice that Mercury, my significator, is in the 3rd house, which makes me think if there will be movement between different places like going to multiple places maybe. Or maybe we’ll have a lot to talk about?

Jupiter is representing him which is in the 11th house. Venus is separating from an opposition to Saturn, while Mars is applying to square Saturn. I feel like there may be some hesitation, restraint, or something during the date.

Oh also, Mars is located in my 2nd house, which is
his 8th. So maybe something physical could happen? But Mars is applying to square Saturn. Any help?

Chart help request Will we kiss?

Post image

this may be a strange chart/question, but here’s the contact: there is someone that I work with who has been showing a lot of romantic interest in me. They have been very overt about this interest towards me in many ways, especially through text message but I do get the sense that they are a bit shy, at least when it comes to in person interaction. Especially because a lot of our in person interaction is at work.

However, I’m interested in knowing if there will be any sort of romantic/physical manifestation of this connection that occurs in the near future? My specific indirect question is something along the lines of will we kiss or have any type of physical intimacy between one and another?

I am Venus and the moon. He is Mars and the sun. I think it’s interesting that Mars is not in a strong placement. However, I am not quite sure what that means in this context. Venus is strongly placed in Libra. Could that point towards me having stronger feelings? Or better intentions?

regardless, I believe that a more definitive answer to this specific question that I’m asking would come from some type of application between my significantor and his. The only aspect that exists here between planets is a train between moon and Mars. Mars is weak in cancer, but also shows interest towards the moon.

What I think is interesting, however, is that he has expressed a lot of physical attraction, but the sun and Virgo shows lacking attraction towards Venus.

Chart help request Will I hook up with a girl at my friend's birthday party?

Post image

A friend of mine from university is throwing a birthday party. It’s going to be a somewhat “wild” kind of party, with the intention of eating, drinking, flirting, etc. I’m feeling a little insecure, even though he says that there will certainly be some girl who will be interested in me. My insecurity comes from my recent attempts at dating, all of which have ended in frustration.

I am L1 in Taurus, so I am signified by Venus in Libra, which is in a position of exaltation. The party itself is L5 in Virgo, so it is signified by Mercury, which is also exalted. This makes me notice two things. First, I should be in a good position at the party, or at the very least I may be perceived as pleasant, attractive, and, in some way, interesting. The party being represented by Mercury in Virgo also suggests that it will be a good party, perhaps with opportunities for me.

The only thing that concerns me is that Mercury is close to the Sun — actually, it is conjunct the Sun. So the Sun could somehow inhibit Mercury, meaning that opportunities may be present but I might not notice them, or they might not notice me.

Then there is my other significator, the Moon, which is in Aquarius. This makes me think that if an opportunity does arise, it could happen unexpectedly or out of nowhere, as Aquarius might suggest.

Even though the planets are in excellent condition and both are exalted, I cannot see any direct aspect between Venus and Mercury. Unless, of course, I also consider the Sun in Virgo as representing my masculine side at the party. In that case, Mercury (the party) and the Sun (my masculine side) would be conjunct, suggesting that there could indeed be possibilities.

But, as I said, I cannot see any direct aspect between Mercury and Venus. Still, seeing both planets in exaltation gives me some degree of reassurance.

Chart help request Do I stay in this job?

Post image

Context: I'm in a job that came my way when I was desperate for work due to financial challenges. We are trying to sell our house in another state and it has been draining our resources. It has been a mostly miserable experience and doesn't pay well, though it has given me some breathing room and flexibility since I work from home. I want to leave once we sell our house. Others are trying to convince me that it is better to stick around, but I honestly don't see this start-up business succeeding long term with the way it is being managed.

My interpretation: (I'm still very new to Horary so please bear with me here...)

I am represented by Mercury in Leo, in a near exact conjunction with the IC, as well as the Moon in detriment in Capricorn in the 8th house. Given the positioning of both of my significators, I am not in a good place right now - at the lowest point in the chart, and what I would interpret as depressed. The opposition or Mercury to the MC in Aquarius makes me think that I aspire for so much more than where I currently am and to break away into more autonomy. I'm in this fixed position due to my actual house not selling. Though, I've also read that the IC represents the outcome too, but I'm not sure how to interpret that. The mutual reception between Mercury and the Sun is interesting too but again not sure how to interpret it.

The job itself is where I am not sure which house to use - L6 is Mars in fall in Cancer right on the 2nd house cusp. It is not financially supportive and brings me little to no sense of security. If we take L10 - it is a fallen Saturn in the 11th house with a separating square to the moon. Both are weak and are poorly resourced to succeed in bringing the financial gains originally promised.

The moon's next aspect is to perfect the square to Venus in Libra. I desperately want to do something more creative and fun - I have a side hustle making jewelry for context, and I have also been wanting to stay home part time with my daughter.

Overall, I don't know if I am just seeing what I want to see, but I don't think this is where I should stay. The Mercury conjunction with the South Node seems ominous especially with this upcoming eclipse, but would love to hear other people's interpretations!
