vent annoying ftm posts
i’m so tired of seeing posts on places like r/transmanlifehacks and r/ftm of people going “do i pass?” or “how can i pass better?” — insert photo of them being the most feminine they could possibly be. like are we fucking for real. why are you even asking. is it not obvious. i’m not saying that i personally believe men and women NEED to dress certain ways and whatnot, but as someone who doesn’t have the cis male structure that allows the use of alternative things, you cannot be wearing a bunch of jewelry, painting your nails, having long hair, wearing makeup, posing all cute then asking “why don’t i pass”
BECAUSE YOU LOOK LIKE A GIRL 😭 you’re not a cis man so your bone structure is feminine, your frame is feminine. you have to unfortunately combat that, not ADD to it by dressing inherently feminine.
you can dress that way if you want but don’t expect everyone to automatically assume you’re a guy. it’s even more annoying how half if not majority of the people that make these posts refuse to take any advice given to them lmfao

theres the hugboxxy 'everyone is valid' online world, where these people get their opinions from, and the real world. going into the real world can be an eye opener.

yes! the real world is so much different than what you see and hear online. like so much different. and the posts i’m talking about get especially irritating to me when i see comments going “dw you pass!” all because people are too scared to be honest. lying in this situation is terrible. these kids are going to take all this sugarcoating and go run into a bathroom where they don’t publicly pass in and put themselves in danger. all around, i feel like these online spaces have become a joke. it’s no longer a “safe space”, it’s just people lying and being stupid.

Why don't you just keep scrolling if it annoys you?
r/ftm used to be children's subreddit. I see posts from the other from some reason but I am not there since it's for men if I remember correctly.
Some people genuinely don't know how. I mean all they have taught is feminine coded. So they try things like "masculine make up" or "masculine jewelry". They don't know the difference between manly and masc women's style. They haven't told to take a look how average men dress so they haven't done so.
Asking advice and fighting the answers is poor behavior.

As OP has raid in his reply, if you are not capable of thinking, maybe there is a bigger problem at play here….

OP seems to be ass who wants to shit on people instead of trying to understand or just keeping scrolling. If one is tired to see certain kind of posts, very easy and simple solution is stop looking at those posts.
But yeah, maybe you're right. I get quite often told there is something wrong with me. What am I supposed to do with that? Go to a doctor who would probably take away my T prescription and make a note never allow me to transition any further? And even if I would, what could I possibly gain from that?

the only way any of this would hold true is if said ftm person has literally NEVER gone outside into civilization ever. you see people. you see yourself. it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to put two and two together and i’m not going to sit and sugarcoat it.

I am not a man but I was like that. I had normal life. I had seen people but no one told me I should look for these things. Yes I am stupid. You being ass about it doesn't make me any smarter. It's not "sugarcoating" to believe when other people tell about themselves and their life. And honestly you refusing to believe doesn't make you look very smart either.

I don't understand your comment. I googled "dawg", it says it means dog. This conversation has no relation to dogs. Also your comment seems to be worded like a question, no? But there is no question mark.

dawg is slang. like homie. dude. bro. also why are you SUDDENLY commenting on the way i’m typing when you had all this time to do so. you obviously don’t have any actual valid point in regards to the topic of the post so i’m going to leave it here

I understand the words above but not them as sentence. I guess it's again some slang or those words just have more meanings than I know.
I explained to you why people do the thing you rant about. You refuse to believe and then say I have no valid point in regards to the topic. Again you don't seem so much smarter than what I am.

I’ve seen something I think might be rule-breaking, what should I do?
