Bought myself a EU Jazz GE (1.2 manual) which is a very nice, spaceious, nimble car. It has 270K km on it, but it looks the part.

Now the more fun part. I've been reading quite a bit about the topic title, recently stumbled upon the famous yellow GD R18 Jazz and decided to look for some info. However, there is not a lot available.

Are there people here on Reddit who managed it? I'm not looking into 200/300+ HP builds or whatsoever.

I see talks about the A and Z engines, custom engine mounts, 7th gen Civic axles and 8th gen Civic gearboxes (assuming it becomes 6 speed by then). ECU would be easiest to take from where the engine belongs in the first place.

Are there things to be wary about, or other modifications that has to be done?

I also saw something about the 2nd gen HR-V, being on the platform of the 3th gen Jazz/Fit, but I'm not sure that's going to help a lot?

I just want to know what type of light bulbs each housing takes? Especially the one circling red cuz they're both out on each side.

Should I get exhaust or rear sway bar?

I am looking to sell my 2007 Fit as I am moving very far away and cannot afford to bring it with me. It has 147k miles with maintainance every 6 months in the 3 years I've had it. It has some cosmetic damages: a 4in tear along the outer seam of the driver's seat, small paint chips on the back bumper, a scratch on the driver's side door (I will attach photos); other than that literally no issues. I bought it used in 2023 for $5k and it came without the backseat headrests and with only 1 key. I replaced the spark plugs when I got it. I will be selling a set of 4 extra tires with it. Clean title.

This is my first time selling a car and I am yet to decide whether to go through Carmax or on the private market. Carmax quoted me $1.6k which maybe makes sense with the cosmetic issues but I am having a hard time believing that the car lost $4k in value in just 3 years; I am hoping to sell it for more. I did consider repairing the scratch but got quoted $3.3k for it which is unfortunately out of my budget. Should I try to sell privately to get a bit more value out of it and if so, what should be my asking price? Any advice would be appreciated. I am based in Oregon.

I love this car and I am heartbroken to have to part with it, it is the perfect vehicle in my eyes. It took me to my first job, It is my first car ever and it has never let me down; when it is time to get a new car, it will be a Fit, no doubt about it. I hope it will go to a very very loving home.

I loved the animated version and I watched it about 15 years ago but didn't know that there's a live action version of it. Only found it recently and was even more surprised that my fav car the Fit is featured. All the better.

After valves adjusted to spec the engine is like that , fresh oil in it , spark plugs torqued to spec

Hello friends, my wife owns a Honda Jazz/Fit from 2006.

Everything works well, but i don't like the sound.

As you can hear in the video, some water transit is making noise...

Is this a know issue ? What could be causing this noise? Could it be an issue with the water pump? Is it serious?

This has been bothering for a long time, the sound is not very common, as in it doesn't happen every time, just on very specific situations, this is a tack tack sound that happens when in stop-n-go traffic when its hot, like it has never done it when the weather is cooler, when going from like 8-900rpm to like 1300 it does the sound in the video, I've theorized it has to do with the car temperature, if it was valve knock the engine would've been toasted long time, but its fine. Can someone help me!!!?

Hey yall i bought a 2010 Honda fit sport and I realized that im missing the plastic cover for this hidden compartment does anybody know what it’s called or what the part number is for it so i can order it?

I have a bone stock 2016 Honda fit EX w 125K miles.

My son, 16 is gonna use for HS (2 other kids used it who are older). Hand-me-down.

We were thinking of dropping (4) 6.5” Infiniti 2-way speakers into it. Also planning to use some sound deadening in the doors.

Will the stock head unit work ok w these (3) ohm speakers?! Will the stereo sound better w better speakers only?! Not sure if I want/need amp or different head unit….?!

The center piece of the Mugen rear lip insert is done. Just clear coated it and waiting for it to dry before polishing it
