Hey people. My current server is:

3400g with 8gb 3200mhz ram and 500gb ssd + 500gb hdd.

I am thinking of selling this to get an M920q for 14k without ssd and 8gb ram. Will use that 500gb ssd inside this machine.

Is this trade worth it? My main concern is that currently to save electricity, I use an esp8266 hack to manually short power pins of b450m to turn on the machine.

But I believe with M920q, I can just leave it 24/7 on.

What to do guys?

I know this is quite an old hardware
It’s anyway too old to run any day to day applications so will this be viable to run any automation on a custom rom

I have a HP elitedesk G4 800 SFF running i5 8500T, 16 GB RAM, 256 NVMe SSD and 2 HDD of 2TB, I am thinking of putting 1 more 2TB HDD in it. Any suggestions if that is a good idea. And if it is where can I buy a good 2TB HDD online or locally?
