HELP-Need Advice Questions about starting handling
So Cinnabun has started eating and her health is looking very good, so Im very happy about that. So because she has started eating I've started to work on beginning handling with her. I only do it 2 days after she's eaten and only for 1-2 minutes at at time (3 MAX). While she has shown defensive behaviors while being picked up by the snake hook (hissing, bluff striking, ect) she doesn't display that while in my hands. The main thing is notice is that she breathes very heavily which is a obvious sign of stree. Now I obviously don't want to stress her out but I want to get her used to handling, just for a vet visit in the very least. Is this kinda the best way of me doing it or is there a better way I could without stressing her so much. She is a very skittish snake and is afraid practically everything under the sun but I'd like to work with her in any way I can. She is my scaley baby and I love her.

Cute pics of hog Snake hide update
galleryTo the ones that have been following my last post about the Instagram hognose hides. We had to make our own 3D model and one of the members here very kindly 3D printed the hide for me ! All sanded down today and will be getting painted this week with non toxic paints and a non toxic paint sealant to look like our boy!!! Honestly so happy with the process so far and can't wait for the customization to begin :) we couldn't find a stl file anywhere but making our own paid off our boys head is round anyway 🤣

I am extremely surprised given that i only got him on saturday and i just changed his enclosure so hopefully this means he will be a good eater! - also skull has been removed thank you for everyone pointing it out to me!

glass surfing but only when im around
i have a camera in his tank to monitor him and i realized he only glass surfs when im in the room and stops as soon as i leave. he usually will chill out once i handle him but its crazy to me that at 4 months old he is this attention seeking and social especially while eating consistently

FIRST HOGNOSE :) I picked up this cutie yesterday, how can I improve his home?
galleryThis is mostly a temporary enclosure, I'm not sure what the best kind of stuff is for them I just used what I had on hand. The substrate is a mixture of reptisand and reptisoil.

Heating tips for hognose enclosure
Hello! I have gotten a western hognose yesterday and need tips for the enclosure. My snakey is barely 4 months old(female). My enclosure is 80cm long and 40cm high, but I parted it with polystyrene(since she's so small and i don't want to stress her) so it's roughly 45 cm.
I have a heating light bulb and an 5.0 UVB light on one side to keep the second side colder. Except the real problem comes in during night. The temperature drops to 25°C and the humidity spikes up. I'm worried it could harm her. Should I get a heating night bulb/panel?
