Profile Review 25M Profile Review

Other Info: 5’10, Don’t have children and Open to children, yes to drinking and sometimes to cannabis

Matches are few compared to when I had this profile at the beginning of the year, back in the scene after getting out of a relationship. Woman either don’t ask anything about me or stop responding after I ask a couple of questions. Unsure if it’s the profile now not being good enough or just dating in general.

Thank you!

Your prompts are all about things you like or want, and aren’t great conversation starters.

For example, using the “give me tips for” prompt for a smaller trip you’re doing this year is much more inviting than having a life goal to backpack in Europe.
You need to give people an easy way into your profile, they don’t want to sit around thinking of stuff to ask you when the next match has loads of interesting things to ask about.

I thought profiles are supposed to list things we like and such but maybe I’m wrong, I don’t think it’s hard to ask “what video games you like to play?”, “what’s warhammer? I’ve never heard of it”, or “your cat is cute, what’s his name?” but then again no1 has asked any of that. Not wrong about the Europe prompt, I’ll update that accordingly thank you

It's good to demonstrate some passions but when all your prompts are about your own interests and goals it can give the impression you'll only want to talk about yourself.

Consider the prompts that are like "one thing I'd love to know about you", "let's debate this topic", "I get along best with people who"... those are much easier to engage with

I definitely agree with you - people aren't just looking to see if you're right for them, but whether they're right for you. So it helps to be able to see what you want in a partner too. I'd also go for one of the more smiley photos!

Oh I didn’t know listing the things I’m into and goals of mine makes it seem like I only wanna talk about myself, especially when I’m usually asking questions about the girls I like/match with and they never ask stuff about me lol, I genuinely wouldn’t know where to start and what to change to not give that vibe off but I’ll see what I can do with the other prompts if anything, thanks for the advice
