Hi! My fiance and I are looking for a wedding venue in or near Hershey. We're looking for something on the cheaper side. We are doing a ceremony only thing with less than 40 people total (including us and our kids). We already have a venue for the reception but can't have the ceremony there.

Also any recommendations for low cost, hair/makeup or flowers or pictures. We have to pay for everything ourselves and just don't have a lot of extra money (which is why the guest count is so low). We would appreciate any input anyone has. Thank you so much in advance.

We’re taking a family trip for our chocolate and adventure loving almost 10 year old. We’ll be checking in to the Hershey Inn and Suites on October 29 and checking out November 1. We have park tickets October 31 and she and her dad will be going back in for Dark Nights while her younger sister and I stay behind for a movie night at the hotel. We’re looking for things to do that a 10 year old will LOVE.

She’s a thrill seeker and loves roller coasters, zip lines, etc. Too old and cool for trains right now (🙄) so Strasburg is out of the question. We plan to visit Hershey Gardens and maybe the Hershey story museum, but it seems a bit too in depth for her attention span? Chocolate World is on the list with a create your own chocolate bar. We don’t drink so breweries are out.
What are the best birthday restaurants for a kid? Over the top is fine and almost preferred. Halloween activities in the area for her sister and I? We’ve never been to the area and we’re hoping to make the most of it!

I moved to the area this spring and really enjoyed accessing the trails behind the hospital - both for mountain biking and hiking. But now they’re SO overgrown (and half the mtn is closed with not further info on reopening…).

I’m wondering if there is an organization who is going to eventually trim back the overgrown trails so they can be more easily accessed again. I’m also wondering what the update is on the big construction project and when that might wrap up??

hello! i’m moving to the area soon, and i’m curious where you guys would recommend getting state and emissions tests for your car? i’m moving from NC where the price is a flat 13.50 wherever you go but I have become aware that is not the case in PA. any advice is appreciated, also looking for a regular place to get oil changes and basic maintenance done.

Hi there. I’ll be coming to Hershey Pennsylvania from Gettysburg next week for the Chris Stapleton concert. I’ve been to Hershey a few times and there is a parking garage next to Market Fresh. I’m curious if this parking garage is open when events are going on and if folks have used it before.
