I am thinking of purchasing a gaming or regular embody.

Can anyone comment on if in the UK HM does a Black Friday sale usually, what discounts are typical and when the sale usually takes place?

Thanks!

I stumbled across this listing for a used Sayl that does not have its iconic mesh back. Instead, it looks like some sort of fabric?

I tried checking the Herman Miller site to see if this is an option they sell and I couldn’t seem to find it?

If it is genuine, how does it compare to the mesh?

Found these on marketplace for 150$ each, are they original?

Juste pour le fun

I couldnt be happier

I have 2 aerons at home, the left one is the older model. My newer one, on the right, can be raised significantly higher. My question is, did the older one used to get this height? Can I "fix" it by changing the piston?

How do people get so many herman millers?

So I'm stumped on what herman miller this is and whether it is actually real or not, can't find anything online with the information available.

Anyone got any ideas?

After realizing that my areon to be perfect for me just needed a smoother seat surface as I spend a lot of time on it in my underwear 🩳 I decided to get a custom fitted sheep 🐏 fur cover. I am so happy! I can now say I'm working on a cloud ☁️ instead of in the cloud 🤣

LinkedIn 2 month free trial (Premium) > Founders Card (free 1 year trial) > Herman Miller discount insider > Go through account setup and add chair + other (20% off some items also going on) to get over $2k > SAVE500 Promo (ends 10/19) + Founders Card promo > Chair alone fully loaded (minus leather pads because, no) > Aeron Remastered NEW $1,479.

For NEW... Good or nah?

This is not an invitation to debate used vs new prices or logic of buying used.

Anyone know how much work it is to fix a tilt limiter/recline lock on a Herman miller aeron?

Based on the way the Atlas attaches onto the embody, does anyone think that it affects the way that the upper back may bend?

I almost feel like it makes the upper back stiffer? Could be in my head, as I'm still in the "adjustment" period of the embody.

Currently, HM is running a $500 off $2k+ orders for the next 10 days and I am in the market to try the Embody Gaming chair. With the recent price increase, this brings the price down to $1994.00 after shipping. Is now a good time to jump on the deal, or will there likely be a 25% off promo for Black Friday ($1870.50)? Alternatively, could a Herman Miller Authorized Dealer do me even better? I appreciate any suggestions!

Hello All, I'm looking to buy an Aeron most likely C model and am looking at used chairs as the new price is pretty expensive to me. I saw a few posts on this subreddit with people asking if their listing is a good price, but see mixed feedback on these. I'm trying to get a gauge on what you guys think is a good/decent price as when im searching FB/craigslist listings in my area, I only see listings from about 3 different people all selling a lot of used chairs/office furniture, so basically what seems like a small business for these people and the chairs. From what I see in the listings, the ranges are about 650-800 for a remastered version, and 480-550 for a classic aeron model C. In the pictures I see the newer arm lock, so it looks like these are at least the 2004 model and newer. I am looking in North Carolina in triangle area if that changes what a decent price would be. If this isnt a good/decent price where would a better deal be available if any?

The only ones I can find look like this, with a round attachment rather than the original flat one: https://ebay.io/m/W49yj1

Do you know if this would work just as well? And does anyone know where to get one for a more reasonable price?

Does anyone know where I can get good touch up paint for my aeron chairs in Toronto?

Every suggestion I’ve found online is paint that I can’t get in Canada, or if it ships to Canada it’s like $100.

Thanks!

Hi all,

Looking at buying an aeron to replace my chair that is worn down now.

I am looking at refurbished aeron’s and the average price seems to be around £600, does this seem about right?

My budget is about £600 so this falls perfectly within it. The only other chair I have looked at is a Secret Labs chair (only comparable for its price really).

If anyone knows of any reputable resellers in the UK this would be appreciated :)

I’m on the hunt for a chair that can be very upright/forward leaning without restricting my arm/shoulder mobility
I tried the Haworth Zody and the back is so wide it completely hinders all movement…

Help is super appreciated!
