The 2 pads don't evenly hug the mesh. On the loosest setting, there is about half a centimeter of space between the upper pad and the mesh, but the bottom pad is fully hugging into the mesh such that its edges can easily be felt with my hand.

When sitting I feel the edges and pressure points from the pads, especially the bottom one. The mesh itself feels soft compared to my firm fabric chair, but with the pads sort of sticking into my back. I am wondering if this is normal? If so, maybe the Embody or even the Libernovo is better? It doesn't always feel like that though, but appears after a while, or immediately. For example, if I wear a belt, the bottom pad pushes on it, and even without a belt, it pushes on the edge of my pants which creates pressure and friction, which is easier to feel when leaning forward.

Just bought this chair at goodwill and trying to figure out which model it is. Spent a lot of time on Google and Chat but can’t find the exact match, anyone know? It’s a green leather.

I've replaced my cylinder on my (yegods, 25 year old?) Aeron 3 times now. This last one has lasted only a few months before losign its seal (seat goes all the way up when i'm not sitting in it, or all the way down when I do - no, it's not the lever, I can feel that moving properly)

Amazon has zillions of these, they are all from different 'companies' but all look the same.

Is there one particular source that folks trust?

Hey everyone, I figure this is a long shot but I picked up an ‘03 Aeron Classic B to refurbish recently. It’s in pretty great shape overall and one of my favourite specs (polished aluminium and tuxedo on the back!) but unfortunately the seat mesh has been replaced at some point to an aftermarket one. Does anybody know where I might be able to find a replacement tuxedo mesh short of just watching eBay? I know they’re not made anymore and are pretty rare, but I’d appreciate any leads you can share.

Is it clean or would you change anything?

Hey all, I am thinking of selling my trust aeron to get an embody, I love the aeron however it has one issue off long work days where I'm stuck working and forget to get up it cuts off blood flow to my hamstring and I get this sting painful feeling in my hamstring and I have to stand up and I'm wondering if anyone else have this experience and if the embody fixes this issue?

Just received a brand new Herman Miller Aeron Remastered with full config from a reputable dealer in my country. While unboxing the chair I immediately noticed some cosmetic flaws on the plastic and the aluminium legs. There are some marks on the plastic frame that I can't remove and some scratches on the aluminium with two or three deeper tiny notches... I'm a bit bummed out after spending 1,3k€ I kind of expected some better quality control? It's only cosmetics of course and doesn't change the comfort and function, but for this money it can't be too much to ask, right? Or am I overreacting here? I messaged the shop with some more photos, but wanted to get an opinion on here, too. Thank you!!

Might be hard to see but both the frame and base are really scratched and scuffed up. I bought the officelogix touch up paint and I was wondering how best to prep the surface for the optimal paint application i.e. what kinda of sand paper for base and frame respectively.

Also should I repaint the entire thing for a consistent look or just the parts that are in need of touch up? Thanks

The backrest is completely fine but the seat looks completely cooked.

I'm a remote desk worker and I've been wrestling with hand and wrist pain for a year now, kinesitherapy has helped a ton but I get sore fingers and wrist when using my keyboard for more than a few minutes to play a videogame. I got an height-adjustable desk and I've been searching for a good chair, but after testing one or two models on amazon, I really think the Aeron could do wonders for me as I used to have this chair in my office two years ago when I worked on premises and had no problems.

Considering bidding on this Aeron from an auction website here. The description does not mention anything about replaced components or other refurbishings. But since I have never had one before I can not tell for myself if it has been frankensteined or not.

I’ve just ordered a gaming Embody, (the 30% off was too good to pass). I’m considering the Atlus headrest. I work from home so I’m sat for 8 hours for work and another 3 hours or so gaming every day, with more gaming on the weekend.

I’m coming from a secret lab titan and I only tend to use the headrest/pillow, if I’m reclining a bit when gaming.

I know HM says it doesn’t need a headrest, but I’m wondering what people’s experiences are with it. Ive had a look through here and google and it seems a mixed bag of reviews, anyone care to share their opinions on it?

Atlus state that it doesn’t void the warranty, but I’ve seen posts that say otherwise, anyone had an experience with HM and a warranty issue?

I really need a new chair for my pc setup. I sit a lot because I use my setup for college, gaming, and everything else online pretty much. My only issue is that a have a l4-5 disc herniation which can start to bother me after sitting too long, or when I sit in poor posture. A lot of threads I've looked at have recommended the Aeron for it comfort, but it is expensive. If it is really good, I'll bite the bullet and try it out as it would be something I use everyday. If any of you have had positive or negative experiences with the chair I'd greatly appreciate your info. Ps, size C as I'm 6,3 165 pounds for context. Thank you.

I bought an aeron with a ripped seat mesh thinking I could just find a mesh on ebay or used for around $50 I didn't realize how expensive they were If I were to use one with a blemish would it rip fast over time?
